On Royal air maroc, One way seems costlier than round trip, I'm wondering how.

I just hope I'm on their correct website.
Not only Royal air maroc, i think in many airlines, booking a round trip comes out cheaper than booking them individually.
Sometimes I use an intermediary site to check for flights and prices before going to the airline's website to compare and book if cheaper.
The intermediary i use often is OPODO. You can try it just to have an idea of flight prices.

1 month Visa was approved for my mum, submitted on June 28, and I received her passport on July 18—first-time traveler. my question now, pls for those of you who have traveled before to France, which other international airport can she land in France? tickets are super expensive considering that she was given only a month visa. The upcoming Olympics is not helping the price of the tickets.
Try landing in BORDEAUX using royal air maroc. It is relatively cheaper than AirFrance

I am applying for the first time though! I am a bit skeptical about the process of everything to be real to you because the person in charge of my application you told me that the only thing I need to do is to come for my biometrics and that is all I think I am aware with the whole process
This sounds strange.
Honestly this process is not that complicated to warrant running after agents that will probably scam you or package anything for you and submit.
You need to know what the agent is submitting on your behalf because 10 years visa ban is real that is if the visa officer discovers fake documentations or lies, you can be banned for many years.

Please what do you mean by having steady of incomes?
I mean your account should show you have regular source of income and not deposits of lump sums of money probably borrowed from someone which is difficult to explain to the visa officer. A good regular source of income is a way to show the visa officer that you have something that will make you come back after your trip. This is the reason why those who sponsor themselves from thier businesses or jobs stand higher chances of getting visa than those sponsored especially if you are young. Visa officers often see young applicants as potential japarians looking for all available means to japa.

Please don’t be offended please can I ask you how much is the amount you have on your statement of account you presented at the consulate
Well I had about 3m on that account but please dont use it as a standard. I think the most important is proving you have a steady source of income with enough not only to offset the planned trip but also for your upkeep during and after the trip. Remember all my tickets were paid already and I didnt need to pay for accommodation since i ll be staying with family members.
In a nutshell, every application is unique and is treated according to it's unique merit.

I submitted mine under the spouse of an EU citizen and with lesser documents but they are taking so long with the decision .it’s the 7th week now and I hope if there’s a way one can withdraw one’s application
Sorry about this.
Like i stated earlier, it would have been better and more straightfoward you applied through Belgium since your spouse resides there.
However, the fact that it has taken this long, 7 weeks, makes me think they are likely to grant you the visa just that they are probably liasing with Belgian authorities to do some verifications before taking a decision.
A refusal ll not usually take this long unless after investigations they find that you guys were not properly married. Just calm down and continue to excercise patience

You should have applied through Belgium first
They will see it suspicious. That's why it took so much time
They. Are making some investigation. But no fear sha . It will be hard for them to refuse you like thst
This is exactly what i think.
Applying through France wasn't the best idea. It's possible they have sent the passport and application to Belgian consulate to carry out the investigation and take decision which obviously ll take longer than the usual duration

Thats crazy application was submitted in May too, and appointment is at the end of this month, one would have thought since you submitted before the 11th of June you will pay the fees specified on the registration receipt.

Hope it is not cash only ?
That is it.
I paid with bank ATM card

Please For applications submitted before the increment of the visa fees, and it already stated the cost, will you then be asked to pay the new visa fees on the day of your biometrics since the appointment date is after the increment ?
And is card payment allowed ? Or cash only ?
I think the new increment will apply as per current rate on the day of biometrics
For example, I submitted my application in May 2024 and was informed on the form to bring 80 euros or about 123 k on the day of biometrics only for me to eventually pay 138k on that day which i think was the new rate of 90 euros effective from 11 june.

Okay thanks
Hold on sorry. I just reread. Are you saying when I go there. My passport would just be handed to me? Without any file or seal?

This part "i know when the passport comes with a letter then very likely visa not granted"

No, i meant when you open the envelop and get your passport with a letter in it.
Once my cousin was refused France visa and he told me he opened the envelop and did not see a visa apposed in his passport but rather an accompanying letter which happened to be a refusal letter just "ticking" the reason for the refusal. Your passport will return sealed dont worry about that.

Visa granted (one month)

At the time of passport receipt, travel date was already in the past. Nonetheless, the visa was granted.

Although, when I submitted it was supposed to take 10 days but it's now it takes 30 days (may be due to Olympics)

If you are married to a French citizen can your visa be refused?
It can be refused depending on the category you are applying from.
For example, there is what is called "regroupement familial" which is the main route to relocate and join a legal french resident and the demand for this kind of visa is initiated right from France.
However, if it's just to visit and return back then you have to apply under tourist family visa and get attestation d'accueuil from the city mayor where the resident lives (the resident will just go thier city mayor and request for it, the mayor office may send people to verify his/her accommodation first before granting the document and this document costs about 30 euros to be bought as stamp. The requirements for these different types of visa are different and once you submit all the required documents of the category you applied and they approve them then your chances of getting the visa are good.
A practical example of how they can refuse you the visa : if you want to use a smart way (tourist route) to relocate and join your family member and they figure it out from your application then surely the application will be refused. Hope you get it?

Modified : if spouse is french citizen, your chances of being refused the visa are very slim provided you provide all required documents and you are not in a polygamous marriage (stated on thier website). There is special visa for French family members and you have to apply for that visa and supply the required documentations

Sometimes some of your own documents are added with the passport on return.
Sometimes, it could be a letter telling you a date to come and present yourself physically after your return.
Wauu, i never knew one could be asked to come and present self after return ?

Thank you. I feel a bit better I guess.
Is there a way to know the outcome before opening my passport? I know this question is weird but like when I go to tlscontact. My passport would be in a brown envelope, right? Does a bigger envelope mean rejection (since it comes with the rejection letter) and doesn't a smaller one mean it has be granted since otll be only ones passport?

Sounds a bit funny though....I haven't heard of size of envelop indicating if visa granted or not but i know when the passport comes with a letter then very likely visa not granted.

I'm a bit scared
Very scared.
I'm a first time traveler.

Wauu, the wait is almost over. Relax and be hopeful. Though you have every reason to be scared as a first timer but i tell you a lot of people are getting the visa but not coming to say it on the platform here so be optimistic !

Please who knows how much France Visa fee is right now?
Tourist short stay visa you mean?
From 11 june 2024, the short stay visa increased to 90 euros for adults and 45 euros for children 6 to 11 years.
So multiply 90 euros by Naira exchange rate to get the total amount in Naira.
