Don’t take any profit on xrp till the end of this cycle. There’s a lot going on in XRP. With Gensgler stepping down in January, the sec court case will be settled sooner than later.
Also the White House (WH) wants to open a crypto portfolio & the CEO of Ripple is one of the contenders.
Finally Ripple is launching its stable coin in its ledger next year for global banking. It already has over 500 global banks currently in its ledger. Mass adoption next year will send it to double digits. So hodl.

My entry point was 0.79 USDT and holding about 2000 pieces of it.
Also holding XLM but honestly looking for a way to dispose of them at any minimal profit. Unfortunately my entry point was about 0.5 USDT and only heaven knows when it will get to that level again.
XRP is doing well but the dilema is always the big question "when to take profits" ??

US Visit visa is 2 years.
When you arrive at a US Airport, CBP will grant you entry for usually max of 6 months for that trip.
You can travel multiple times on the same visa. Don't sha stay for the whole 6 months. Thats no longer a tourist visit.
Granting visa and entry to the US are different things

Fact is, the Soviet Union was on a downward slope by the 1960's...the oil boom of the 1970's just delayed the inevitable.(Some people were already seeing the downfall of the USSR by the early 1980's...when Gorby was just an apparatchnik)

Meanwhile, the USA government won't protect their domestic companies the same way...with the result being that their companies had to up their game to compete with Europe and Japan and later on Korea and Taiwan....meaning they got innovative, better, and so forth. By the time Gorbachev came around, the soviet companies were weak compared to Western companies. Problem 1.

Also, the soviets gave free housing, free healthcare, etc...without paying for it by taxes, etc. By the 1980's they were running out of money to pay for free stuff (intially they got money from war repartrations from WW2, then the oil boom of the 1970's...THEN THE money ran out.) Problem 2.

Also, in the Western countries...you do well at work, they promote thee...and give you cash incentives. In the USSR? Maybe a promotion, and a medal, but not much in the way of cash incentives. Productivity suffers, economic development suffers. Problem 3.

On top of that, the USSR was basically Rossiya subsidsing smaller countries in Europe and Asia...and paying for a capital intensive defence industry, AND subsidisng a war in Afghanistan, AND...helping a lot of third world countries. That drains money faster. Problem 4.

There was nothing Gorbachev, or the hardliners who tried to remove him , could do.

The reason why we have a Communist china? The Chinese in 1979 realised that they had to make their economy capitalist., and eventually open up to global competition. That's why they still exist. If the Soviets had done the same in the 1960's...there still would have been a USSR.

Actually the visit should be October 2022 but ends September 2023 hence the need for clarification on the expiry of my passport. An immigration officer also told me they can renew the passport but with an approval of their passport controller but with an extra fees. But my concern is just to clarify if I can travel back home while the passport has expired because if I start the renewal process now, only God knows when it would come out.

if the visit is from october 2022 then you should be ok as per visa application and no one will expect you to renew a passport that still has nearly 1 year validity. Alternatively you can go ahead and try renewal, the most important aspect is biometrics data capturing. If the new passport come out when you are in the UK someone you designate can collect it and send to you through DHL. However, like someone already said, you can also return back to Nigeria with your already expired passport without problem. In fact since the covid crisis and the consequent delays in issuing new passports the Nigerian immigration has authorised Nigerians especially in diaspora to travel with thier expired passpots without any hindrance and I personally know those who have been travelling to Nigeria with thier expired passports

Also would like to query the exception raised as per my salary. I work with a bank and am surprised this was raised, my salary was changed sometimes last year but I didn't include the letter used to advise me in my application and pay slip in my application. Kindly advise because I want to send administrative review. For those that have send administrative review kindly help out with sample used.

I am planning to apply for a standard visitors visa (academics) or Temporary Work – Government Authorised Exchange visa (for sponsored researcherer) - (not even sure which one to go for yet) in September or thereabout for a Postdoctoral research visit for 12 months in UK. My question is about my Passport which expires in 13 September 2023 but the suppose visit would end 30 September 2023. Do I need to renew my passport in order to have the whole period of visit/visa covered in the passport or I should go ahead and apply with the passport that would expire before my visit ends?

Please I need your advice. Thanks in advance.

Even though i think it's too early to apply now for september 2023 visa, in your case I will suggest at the ideal time, you apply with the same passport and write a simple explanatory letter to explain that your passport will be renewed before the expiration of the current one while stating you couldnt have renewed it before applying for the visa as the passport still had up to 6 months life span.
Alternatively, still try to renew your passport even if it has more than 6 months left before end of validity, you can never tell how possible it could be. I am a living witness because i have a passport that expires 10th december 2022 but i still applied for a new one (10 yr passport) in March 2022 using an agent in Lagos and the passport came out in May. Try to speak to an immigration agent and you ll be surprised many things are possible in this country.

For my fellow ‘May’ peeps, here is the reality - your passport is ready & you might get a notification anytime from now. The Ikeja queue for collection is too much. They’re releasing these documents in batches to avoid overcrowding. Ikeja is for the masses. Thank you all, especially to @abbeymama(not sure if I spelt that well). Yerima 2 congrats.

it's possible ... after capturing for my new passport, the agent promised to bring it to me when it's out so i didnt need to go collect it myself and I wasn't asked to send my old passport either.

i used my old passport that will expire in january 2023 to apply for UK after waiting endlessly for my new passport to be out (booklet shortage)

sorry, I just realised it's my schengen visa application for France that has been processed and not the UK. Can you Imagine, the schengen visa application was only submitted on monday 27 june and its already processed. I never expected it this fast that's why I immediately thought it was the UK visa application submitted since 12 may, O Lord
