lilkech: in those years in lagos anytime we saw cattle eaglets flying in the sky we would raise our hands to them and wave our fingers furiously while singing something like "se-ke-le-ke, se-ke-le-ke sometin sometin" and just like magic by the time the birds fly by we would have white streaks in most of our finger nails.

This one works 100%

feel free to quote me
What a coincidence, this worked for me too those days.

I really think a good network depends on what part of the country you are. Etisalat for me is the bomb here in Onitsha with its fast blazing downloads, not even MTN can beat that.

Politics › Re: Can ECOWAS Threaten Nigeria To Return To Civilian Rule In Case Of A Coup? by Yeske2(m): 10:38pm On Apr 01, 2012
Ecowas can't even bark how much more bite. Nigeria is almost double the rest of Ecowas in population and gdp so without outside pressure, they can do nothing.

dckng16: Mine was when i came back from work and behold my patner and my bestfriend in the room naked but covered with blanket and with littered used condoms on the floor. Both look at me and smile, shout "APRIL FOOL" at the same time.
I was so mad, didn't know what to do...
But guess what?

Fabulous Autos: A colleague called me to inform me she's been standing and knocking at the gate. Hold on, let me dress up cause I'm just coming from the bathroom, I responded. I checked both the front gate, the back gate and the entire compound without any sight of her. It then dawned on me that today is April 1.
Same thing happened this morning, had not picked that eediot's call or replied his text since then.

Onlytruth: Question# 1
Since when did Nnamdi Azikiwe University become the most preferred university in the East, even ranking above UNN (per the JAMB preferred schools as published)?

Question# 2
Can one conclude that student preferrence for a university is a proof of academic standards, since there are other presumably similar schools in the same catchment area?

Politics › Re: How Our Current National Anthem In Nigeria Encouraged Tribalism And Hatred by Yeske2(m): 12:19am On Mar 31, 2012
@poster cut the crap, tribalism has been institutionalized even before the new anthem was adopted. You are a good student of history so go back in time and rehearse our national history then you'd know. Tribalism didn't start in 1960 when 'Nigeria we hail thee' was adopted nor in 1978 when 'Arise, O compatriots' was adopted. The composer of the new one Benedict Odiase would be regretting right now. God save the king/Queen preceded both anyway.

Politics › Re: Igbo Ingenuity: Enugu To Support Inventor Of Wind Turbine For Power Generation by Yeske2(m): 9:26pm On Mar 30, 2012
Kobojunkie: This is not about discrediting Ibos and not. The fact is this technology is NOT NEW, PERIOD!!! Now, since this man has chosen to create one of these wind mills, here's hoping that more and more people will wake up to technology that has been available to them for decades.

These days, any highschooler in Africa can find an internet shop, log online, print out a DIY of wind generators, and build one at home using scrap metals, wood and wire. We used to have wood shop classes and shops back in the days, in our schools. I remember learning how to build a toy car in one of my classes. Learnt what a solenoid was too. This could easily be a woodshop project.
Now you're talking, really don't need lectures about a teenager in Malawi or China producing one with a higher capacity. Give honour to whom it is due.

Aigbofa: Don't get carried away with empty chest beating. It's been done by a pretty smart Malawian Kid. Have you heard of any Malawian boasting about how they are more resourceful than their neigbours? No! To some people, modesty is a virtue.
You hadn't answered my question yet, read my post then reply.
Thanks.
