Ambo
The man that have a great vision for New Lagos before they pushed him aside.

Honestly, Ambode really tried because this is part of his legacies.
FG should Merge Agencies with immediate effects, to save our darling country lots of billionsbeing wasted (it's overdue) and leave Civil Servants salaries alone..... Okay?

HOW NIGERIA CAN PAY MINIMUM WAGE COMFORTABLY..........

1. Abolish SECURITY VOTE in NIGERIA. Nigeria will pay N45,000 minimum wage comfortably.

2. a) Abolish CONSTITUENCY PROJECT FUNDS
b) Reduce number of ADVISERS to SENATE PRES(2), HOUSE SPEAKER(2), GOVs(4), PRESIDENT(5), VP(2)
c) Reduce current ALL Political Office Holders PAY CHEQUES by 51.5%, without exception
d) Do away with special remuneration to POLITICAL ADVISERS & PUBLIC SERVANTS e.g; Purchase of Private Vehicles, Houses, granting Govt paid Vacations, paying for 1st & Business Class Transportations, etc, etc...
e) Abolish payment of OVERSEAS MEDICAL BILLS for Political Office Holders.
f) Eliminate PRIVATE PRACTICE in public workforce
g) Eliminate participation of Public Workforce in Partisan Politics.
h) Institute EMPLOYMENT BY MERIT, and eliminate UNDEREMPLOYMENT.
i) Review and eliminate allocation of Govt paid POLITICAL AIDES & SUPPORT STAFF to Political Office Holders.

With (1) + (2) Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N65,000 comfortably

3. Move Nigeria MORE to Private Sector Driven Economy
a) Privatise ALL of Federal Govt PARASTATALS & reduce Federal Direct Funded AGENCIES to 68% of the present.
b) Privatise ALL of STATE Govt PARASTATALS & reduce State Direct Funded AGENCIES to 19% of the present.
c) Reduce current DIRECT LABOUR JOB participation by 49%
d) Encourage more Working Hours until Nigeria economic stabilizes
e) Discourage UNIONISM in Public Workforce

With (1) + (2) + (3), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N101,500 comfortably.

4) Institute DEATH PENALTY to proven THEFT OF PUBLIC FUNDS no matter how little, and LIFE Jail Sentences for COLLABORATORS.

With (1) + (2) + (3) & (4), Nigeria would pay a minimum wage of N203,500 comfortably.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA
END OF DISCUSSION!

Chioma Adichie,
We are highly honour that your very first and only comment after 1 Year and 9 months of joining Nairaland is to 'totally endorse' one of our posts.
That means a lot.
A better Nigeria is all we want.
God bless you ma!
Senate, rep, to earn sitting allowances only which should be pegged at 100k per sitting.

The amount of money washing away on administration is more than enough to move this nation forward

kunle75:
I will not suggest any Lexus for a first timer buyer.

Toyota as you stated earlier would be best for him if he will listen to wise counsel

You are right

My first car is Toyota Highlander & I never regret buying it

Corolla won't be bad option for lovers of sedan

Yinmu

Next plz?

Hi, I'm in love with an osu but my family forbids it. How do I convince them to allow me to marry him?

Honestly I only hear the word osu in nollywood but never knew it's this serious

The corruption continues

The amount of money embezzled under this administration within the last 6years is enough to make this country a better place

This people should shut their mouth with their anti-corruption nonsense crusade because they are more corrupt than corruption itself

Can I still join?

Yes

Lagos of early 90s is not Lagos of today

Don't raise your hope too high

I work in Lagos but hardly stays in Lagos

Lagos is truly land of opportunity but over saturated although that doesn't mean you can't make it there

Ensure that you have legit online business that can fetch you money even if it's just 50k monthly that you will be making from it

From this same nairaland, you can seek for help of someone who need roommate and share the rent with such person.

I wish you the best

Horoyeencar:
What car will you suggest for a first timer, budget between 3-4M.

Corolla would have been better but you already stated you don't like it. Nothing too special about Corolla anyway just that it can endure abuse

If you wouldn't mind, you can go for Lexus ES series

330 or 350 should be fine

Total Quartz remains the best engine oil

Give us reasons

toffyz:
Thanks for the insight.

But If the hunters had captured the elephant alive, do you think the concerned agency would have compensated them for their bravery??

That's the major issue with Nigerian government which is very bad

Speed kills

I wonder why oyinbo put such speed on cars, max speed supposed to be 100km

I hate overspeeding

toffyz:
And what benefits are they to humanity if spared?

Lots of benefit

Few days ago when I visited zoo, no elephant in sight

If we failed to act now, our kids will only see elephant in pictures and on TV
