Julien Mette, former Djibouti coach 🎤: "Offensively, Nigeria is superior to Morocco. On the Moroccan side, there's Brahim Diaz emerging, but if he goes out... Nigeria is capable of doing everything, killing you on the break, in structured attack, on set pieces."

You want to succeed at afcon just have like 5-6 player playing at a beastly level…
Morocco can just present Diaz and that one that like to do scissors kick up and down
Hakimi takes good free kicks

That is a very comical offside trap
Maybe it's me, but I think it's offside
They didn't call it
Maybe I'd watch it again

All we need to do is to out score Morocco no matter what the refs do Abi how many goals dem wan cancel? 😂 after all the one wey almost pass the goal line ko against Algeria, perhaps goal line technology may have counted that one so no fear let’s just hope the eagles score goals.

We had score 3 against Tunisia before they were given a dubious penalty. We just need to beg players like Akor and osihmen to be more clinical and we are good. Akor especially should learn to be more direct and forget about scoring laliga kind of goals tomorrow cos na make ball enter net be the koko
Algeria is not host nation o Smh
Seems you didn’t watch the Tanzania & Cameroon game
Referees can immensely affect games

If we get to the finals too and lost, players like Lookman and osihmen would have lost two finals so what’s special about Salah? If he really needs it then he and the team should show more workings. They are even lucky CIV was careless cos they won’t even be where they are now
Osimhen & Lookman can play at least 2 more AFCON’s
Could or may be Salah and Mane’s last
Both are 34 this year
Ivory Coast started that game slow
Mind you I’m speaking from a non Nigerian bias angle, CAF, North Africa view maybe

My gut tells me Senegal might have an antidote for us. I don't know why, but I pray Egypt somehow beats them.
I think we beat Senegal
My fear is Egypt, if they get to the final
Sentiments attached, so he can just get it oit the way because he’s almost 34
I doubt CAF won’t do everything possible for Salah to win an Afcon for his legacy sake just like Messi with the World Cup
Every 50/50 duel would be given to Egypt if they get to the final
I mean how would Salah lose 3 finals

I could get suspended for putting up a news site like bbc link here
Go look for it on Twit.ter
Thé journalist baited him & he was just spilling it all
Good thing is we have Onyedika & Bashiru, i don’t know how coach will intend to use them in this game

No team will give Lookman opportunities cuz they know him very well, his Afcon stats is here, just check it out, best player so far.....all we need is getting our tactics right, the issue here you can't pocket Osimhen and Akor for 90 minutes
This site na trash lol
No fr.aud Brahim Diaz ?

Troost Ekong went on BBC to reveal in depth most of Nigerias game plan, as well as Osimhen’s positioning while anticipating flank crosses without talking about the Moroccan game plan
SMH
Onyeka, Adams, Onyedika & the wing backs will have to be extra creative in this game
Dont be surprised if all the supplies are cut off from Iwobi
That trump card could be shut out
If Morocco plays 2 DM’s with big Amrabat on the field we should just be ready for an ultra hard game
What if they press or man mark Iwobi
Thé Mauritanien référée is a bad sign
Why didn’t CAF pick Eastern or Southern African ref

My concern is how Morocco and their FA are really having their way with CAF as if they have Motsepe's nudes. How can the same controversial referee of Morocco/Cameroon match be deployed for the semis for the same team- Morocco. I dont mind CAF going for European referees for AFCON going forward because the injustice is just too much
@procashtips can't they get a southern or eastern African referee
Smh
This is not good

Nigeria now has a complete squad after the tournament to maybe challenge for a world cup medal grin
Arthur Okonkwo will properly challenge Nwabali, a slick goalie
We have 3 decent left backs 3 decent right backs, Osayi is surprising us
Bassey will pair properly with Benjamin
We haven't seen too much of Igor Ogbu yet
We have so many midfielders & I expect Gift Orban, Terem Moffi etc o fight for spots in the team

What i expect Morroco to do is man mark Alex Iwobi, don't allow him freedom to receive the ball, block all passing channels.

SuperEagles will be facing their biggest challenge yet. I get faith we will win this game.
We have Onyedika who is good offensively
He’d be our plan B offensive outlet when in tight situations
Plus people are sleeping on Dele Bashiru
I hope he comes on in the second half

What if Walid Regruagui chooses to play exactly like his Morocco 2022 World Cup side
Playing without the ball & counter attack
That side knocked out Spain & Portugal if you remember, very lethal
Since they don’t have our attack firepower like we do
Chelle should prepare for everything o

CAF normally use MOTM as a strong criteria and this is a tournament.....Semi Ajayi won it against Tanzania, Lookman against Tunisia and Mozambique, Onyedika against Uganda, and Osimhen against Algeria.
Did Troost Ekong win POTM in the last AFCON?
Osimhen won it in the group stage game against Ivory COast for winning us a penalty
Nwabali won thé POTM in the semi finals against South Africa for saving penalties
I think an Ivorian was giving the POTM in AFCON 2023 final
Ekong won POTT for his 3 important goals & defensive contributions
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by yinkeys(m):

Nigeria have two strong potential for MVP and it's Osimhen and Lookman..Iwobi need goals to compete and remember Mikel lost it to Patsil of Burkina Faso,Mikel with a goal would have won it but I want Osimhen to get the golden boot
Rodri won balon dor without too many goals
Vinicius didn't show up for Brazil at the copa which made that award accurate to me
I think Iwobi deserves it because every defense splitting pass comes through him
I think the mvp should be a strictly technical award
Oh well who knows what CAF. will do

The 2025 Afcon semi-finals will bring together all the CAF APOTY winners since 2017🥇:

2017: Salah 🇪🇬
2018: Salah 🇪🇬
2019: Mané 🇸🇳
2020: ✖️
2021: ✖️
2022: Mané 🇸🇳
2023: Osimhen 🇳🇬
2024: Lookman 🇳🇬
2025: Hakimi 🇲🇦

World Class.
They better give IWOBI mvp when we win the trophy for fairness sake
Every build up comes through him
CAF will want to give Lookman or Osimhen for popularity sake
The CAF technical team should strictly give the chief orchestrator of everything
Esther Okoronkwo didn't get player of the tournament or CAF player of the year lol

AAA593:
The super eagles may likely experience the worst officiating in the game against Morroco. The current CAF president is so corrupt and this afcon has witnessed the highest level of corruption in afcon history.

The level of favour on Morroco is just too much. I don't know why every host nation must win afcon under this current CAF president. He almost did same against super falcons but God intervened.

Nigeria is playing against CAF president, Morroco nation, Morroco players, the Ref and his linesmen. Only God will prevail on Wednesday.

Get ready to see cheap free kicks, fouls, penalty etc in favour of Morroco. VAR will used for fouls against Nigeria but will not be used against Morroco.
The WAFCON loss is still fresh in their memory
