this is common sense, if you deprive some customers access, they will move to available ones so there will be increase in population/demand, then you have to move in staff to share the workload. otherwise it's a deadly headache for their company.

a great point you've raised there. but consider the population of graduates every year they have to save the money to pay at the end of their training plus feeding allowance during the period. so the rest of the money they can be given for their initial set up.

#33,300 monthly it's not a waste of time for a sensible person/corps member or fresh graduates. this is more than minimum wage. it's not as if your life depend but this has helped some people to take off before they found their feet. there is no reason for unnecessary argument.
Just adapt the scheme for security reason and don't take the money off.
because govt will not dash you mega money at once if its scrapped.

Insecurity is a general problem in the country it also affects education, transportation e.t.c in general, but rather than scrapping education, n.y.s.c
we can adapt the scheme (for safety reasons) to suit the current situation.
there can't be "free money" from government to assist these graduates en masse yearly if it's outrightly scrapped.
