Time – what many scholars and authors called an illusion. With no argument, it is. But the life that we are all living has a span and time is what is used in measuring a life duration. That is, a life is summed up by the number of time spent by the person. There is a long mythology in Africa - a culture of time, which postulated that a scheduled time is not always the real time. By this, Africans cultivates the idea of getting to meetings behind scheduled time. Most people in Africa are poor with time. African time is a barbaric culture which no global citizen should imbibe. Getting to the length of killing time (by engaging in activities that will help waste away time) is another illusion. No one can kill time! By killing time, you are killing a life. Every seconds count in every individual’s life. A wasted time is directly a wasted life. If you can’t manage your time, you can’t manage your life. if you can’t maintain your time, you can’t maintain your life. if you can’t control your time, you can’t control your life. Surely, if you can get it right with your time, definitely you will get it right with your life. What has happened to time that people no longer keep to time? Some comes to meeting late, while some has the habit of exceeding the time given to them during programmes. Time, if not the most valuable asset in the world. What you will and can do with your life depends on time. Don’t trust your money with anyone who can’t keep to time. He will not manage it well because he is already mismanaging his life. The best use of time is to invest it in doing things that will add to you and not things that has nothing to do with your purpose in life. You can’t be effective and purposeful with time for at least 8 hours a day and still remain the same you. The fact is, you are investing your time through anything you engage with each seconds. You can’t plant a yam and harvest cassava, never! Though they are both tuber. You can effectively manage your time (life) by doing things you need to do before engaging in things you wish to do. Do the most important things first before you do any other thing. Avoid procrastination. Always ask yourself if what you are doing justifies a proper use of time. Even God is interested in your time. You can’t give 10% of your attention to God and expect Him to give you 100% attention. Invest your time in doing things worthwhile. Focus on your work or study. Spend time with your family and find time to serve God. Source - https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2171417576277593&id=100002281149798&ref=bookmarks

You don't sit down doing nothing and expect all the good things you wished for come to you by chance. You gotta create your own luck.

Dear Friends, we are all concerned about the problems and challenges of Nigeria, but you see, Nigeria's trouble is doing us more harm by wasting our time. Some people will spend 5 hours in the place of argument, whether PDP is better than APC. Hours that they're suppose to spend in the place strategic planning. My advice, face your business, face your career. When you are so prosperous that your voice can be heard, let's come together to talk about Nigeria or at our leisure. Since all these while that we've been talking about Nigeria, did anything change? I decided, in 2019, no time wasting political analysis. Also, do you know that taking frontline side of political party on Social media can hinder you of some opportunities as a business owner or a professional? I'm not saying people should not contribute to political situations, but what's the point of spending 1-5 hours analyzing politics that will add nothing to your life, your bank account? P. S - You' can be doing this if Politics is your business, or you're trying to build a career as a political analyst, but as for me and my household, I'll come back after making the first $b.

DON'T BE ASHAMED OF YOUR LEGITIMATE HUSTLE - There is dignity in labour One of the reasons why our society keep on experiencing the heart breaking stories of internet fraud, rituals and all sorts of unbelievable quest for getting rich scheme is our societal response and reactions to young people who desired to start small. Few days ago, my sister reminded me of the saying "there is dignity in labor". That is, whatever you're doing, that is bringing food to your table, that is giving you joy and is not at the detriment of others, you should be proud of it. But, reverse is the case these days. The process no longer matter, only the result, regardless of how you get the result. Attentions are been given to those who are showing off and not those who are showing up to promote their trades. Social media got it all blasted - In recent time, I noticed that if you post a picture of you in an exotic restaurant (even though you didn't buy anything) your social media connections will bless you with lots of reactions and comments, but if you post things about your business or services, you'll be given little attention, less reaction, no comment. What is this data saying about our society? People don't care or give little attention to things that add value to your life, they don't want to support or show interest in your process. Then people (victim of the societal judgment) decided to go into the get rich quick at all means, or die trying schemes. And we all can see what this has caused us as a society. Dear your people, be proud of your trade. Even if family and friends don't support you. Even if they pay no attention to you, God is a rewarded of hard work. There are people who are taking note of your consistency, your ability and your sagacity. It won't only give you peace of mind, it will allow you a beautiful legacy and a good place in history. Don't fall for it, embrace your small beginning - those who look down on you didn't create you, they won't pay your bills for you. To your shameless execution. --- Olajide Ola'Emmanuel is a Data, Digital Media Associate, Author and an Entrepreneur.
