emmanuelewumi:Sir, thanks for posting this report. Though not very legible but I can say the lines I was able to read are pointers to a great company to be birthed in Agricultural sector . More lights shed on the activities of this company, how robust the company is as well as highlighting the potentials and future prospects of ELLAHLAKES. Renewed interest is expected in ELLAH because the analysis points to the fact that they're really at the investing stages, in which funds are being injected and still being injecting. On the financials aspect, I think what was arrived at is expected....when establishing a company for instance, funds keeps entering and immediate gains/profits or revenues are not always expected or the first target. Meristem might have worked with what was on ground but did they factor-in other near future developments and expected turnarounds? Or did I miss anything? Like I said, I've not read everything on the analysis. A link to download will be appreciated. I hope Street investor is able to read this analysis with an open mind. 1 Like |

awesomeJ:Registrar's hardly make such mistakes.... I don't see it as mistake......BUT could be some errors in qualification Date, which could result in him getting qualified. I once qualified for NEM's dividend, sold it off thinking I qualified but eventually didn't get paid. When I did some checks, I realized there were changes made to the qualification Date. @Locotrader Thanks for that submission. I just checked the number of stocks lost and gained. You know, my logging in now is to make my usual motivational post..... That, for those already in the market before this red, let's be patient so as not to sell at loss or huge loss...... Capital preservation should be the priority now.. Mr. Market will always do what Mr. Market will do... Market goes up and down and the red cannot continue unabaited, it will stabilize at some points, then reverse back up... From today's trading, though selling pressure still persists but some resistance were also sighted alongside intraday.... * According to my Oga, the market is generally still undervalued.... * Let's hang in there, we shall all smile again and resume our bullish discussions... 10 Likes |

* The red in market may have been triggered by banks.....thus sending panic throughout the market... * The fear that some consistent ones might not pay interim dividend; May pay below expectations OR, pay small compared to last year's own due to the dilution. * I'm of the opinion that u.g.a.z may want to do all it takes to pay reasonable interim dividend because they have a target to be met. * GT already made mention of paying interim dividend, I think UBA or Access too. * Announcement of this may change the market outlook...... * Are we in bear market yet? Not looking likely. ** This is purely my amateur perspective based on observations of what's going on in market...... * Trends are changing and this idea of September school fees is becoming obsolete....just like the idea of "Sell in May, come back in November" has faded away. ElectronicMoney:Contact WEMA bank's Registrar, Greenwich.. Explain to them and request that they check the transaction history for you. If possible, make a phone call. Search for GTL Registrar's phone or email number online. It's possible someone sold the qty along the line and pocketed the money. |

@Electronicmoney When the shares were purchased, did you confirm it was 20k units then? If you didn't, then it's possible they got only 1700 for you and never bothered to use up your whole deposit to complete the purchase. As it is, you can only claim the shares purchased back while, unfortunately, the remaining fund is lost. More reason some don't always want to keep cash/funds in trading accounts for longer periods but will use it to buy shares..... especially if you're not the monitoring type. Funds with brokers are safer this way because you can retrieve your shares back but can't retrieve cash back. 3 Likes |
