If you go by FA you have, for example, a PE greater than 20x, which may not support such a price rally. But the NGX doesn't always work like that, and you may need to consider sentiment regarding the dividend and 1 for 7 bonus; and the general ongoing market rally if it continues, as Myc mentioned.

* NAHCO is a strong and fundamentally sound stock.
* The fact that the company is always generous with giving and priotize shareholders happiness will make it continue to grow sentimentally and otherwise.
** A company that pays out around 90% of Profit After Tax to shareholders will go places if they continue to churn out good numbers YOY and QOQ...

Let's even look at SAHCOL and NAHCO dividend yield:

NAHCO @150 declared N6.25 + 1:7 Bonus = 4.3%

The "Market Price" you mentioned earlier is the fastest if trying to exit at whatever price..
It picks the prevailing price in market and fill your Order immediately.

It's painful it took me so long to see the value in that stock despite the ogas and one of my ogas pointing it to me because he works closely with them and knows the value inherent in it.
I also have idea of how those O&G company fairs......more reason im going to continue keeping eyes on OANDO.😊

* The "Closure of Register Date" is also for a reason.

That said:
- If you buy on the last day of qualification, you qualified ... in as much as it's purchased before COB that date.....this time around, 13th April for GTCO

- The register of holders is closed from the day following, 14th April for same GTCO.

I am aware of the plans by NGX to delist a lot of useless stocks in the coming months....Just watch this space

They can't delist any stock just like that.
In as much as they met and are meeting regulatory Requirements, they can't be delisted.

Sledge hammer of NGX is meant for those moribund stocks that haven't been meeting up with Regulatory Requirements for years...
Before delisting, warnings/sanctions must have been issued out to them on some occasions first.

Capital NO!
Once your name/details is in the Registrars books, then you're automatically paid or allotted bonus anytime it's declared by the Companies.

These days, with consolidation under CSCS Central automated window, you may not need to submit E-Div mandate to some Registrars before being paid.
Your details will be automatically lifted from the Central database and be paid.

Because what I read the last time was swapping of shares of UNITY for PROVIDUS at certain ratio or buyout of UNITY shareholders at 3.20 or so......the price UNITY attained at some point.

T+2 is talking about withdrawal of fund into your bank account, if you need to withdrawal some funds.
* T+2 means Time sold + 2 days after.

It's possible to sell shares in the morning and receive the proceed the second day.....but you'll have to pay some fees for processing it because it's not yet up to the settlement time/day.
