If you're monitoring and observing the trading patterns especially recently, you'll know it's not ordinary.....
There are some power plays going on.......maybe Boardroom politics or thereabout.....
Crashing prices is nothing to these people in as much as they achieve their aims.....
Na them be movers and shakers.....

Ask yourself, which type of investors can play with huge volumes?
Similar thing happened in GTCo few years ago.......and was tagged with Innosun Motors.

I think their large share count is working against them. If they outstanding shares were to be on par with the likes of firstholdco or even UBA then their recent results would have seen them break the 15 naira price.

* I don't think you should compare FCMB's OS with the likes of FBNH...
* FCMB is a 2nd Tier Bank that you can compare with the likes of FIDELITYBK...
* FCMB should be trading so close to FIDELITYBK.......their OS are in same range if that's what you want to consider......

Access Bank closed negative today. That bank should be auctioned off. Supply is way too much. A serious investor needs to mop up majority of the stock and take it away from the reach of retail before it can breath.

Closed @29.20, same as yesterday's price.
The dumper came dumping down to 28.50 but it went back up to close @29.20....
Went as high as N31.35
* Over 128M units exchanged hands..

From observation of the tradings today,
ACCESS was resisting the dumpers/jijoists and quite some level of defence of the share price witnessed......

* One good thing so far is the defence of the share price, unlike before, there wasn't free fall even when the offers far outweigh bids at some point.....
* All things being equal, KM 30 is the next hurdle that needs be overcome.....
Ability to successfully overcome this junction should take ACCESS to KM 35....... thereafter, "a catalyst" should see it above 40 and aiming to take back her position around UBA's......
** Peter and other Jijoists will think it's business as usual, but one of these trips will see them pursuing ACCESS just the way FBNH escaped from their hands..😊

Don't allow anyone to discourage you....
Some people picked DANGSUGAR at around 70/80 during the Merger talks...
Picked NASCON around same price...
Eventually, merger was put on hold and DANGSUGAR nosedived all the way from 80+ down to sub 30....
Someone still did not sell but today, NASCON has delivered over 100% and DANGSUGAR looking promising to do the same.

The issue is having patient funds...
For long termers, they'll most likely still overcome the barrier and the losses will turn to gains.

* One thing is this, keep close watch on the events there to know when its bottoming and when positive events starts happening there....
When it bottoms, if there's extra funds, average it down.....if not, forget about it in your portfolio believing you've taking an investment risk.

ACCESS still has regulatory hurdles to overcome.
FIRSTHOLDCO has none + have catered for ALL their bad debts.

Moving forward, we can expect a gigantic DIV from FIRSTHOLDCO. Same cannot be said about ACCESS yet...

My amateur question is this:
How long does it take FBNH to overcome such hurdles as well?
In this market, I believed it's the more you look/dig, the less you see.....

IMO, the way Access was dealt with is the way they'll move it back up, at least to reflect it's near fair value.

Otedola had to deploy Billions of Naira to move FBNH back up and trying as much as possible to defend it at above 100, 105 precisely
