I called the bank. The Limit is N440,000. And when it was set to N440,000 the exchange rate was N220 / $1 for stanbic Bank meaning $2000.

!Now the Limit is still N440,000 but you have to divide N440,000 by current exchange rate to get limit.

They are not in the east just few northern states, Abuja. I don't know about Lagos.

Why don't you get a prepaid reloadable card from India or us and allow your parents or relative in Nigeria fund it using western union?

Western union for first Bank is

$975 ( N199,000 ) + Service Charge ( N16,800 )


I sent $975 to china it arrived there at N221.45 / $1 @ First Bank Branch Jabi close Utako Market Abuja.


However limit is $1000 quarterly. But you can use Western Union or Money Gram and fund your prepaid visa reloadable card. That way you get it cheaper.
