Like wtf math is this
this is my new calculation

To calculate the total interest on the loan and determine its total cost over the 24 weeks (168 days), follow these steps:

Given:
Loan Amount (Principal) = ₦1,900,000
Loan Duration = 24 weeks = 168 days
Daily Interest Rate = 0.18% = 0.0018 (as a decimal)

Formula:
Interest per day = Principal × Daily Interest Rate
Total Interest = Interest per day × Number of days
Total Amount to Pay = Principal + Total Interest

Calculation:
1. Daily Interest:
₦1,900,000 × 0.0018 = ₦3,420/day

2. Total Interest over 168 days:
₦3,420 × 168 = ₦574,560

3. Total Amount to Pay:
₦1,900,000 + ₦574,560 = ₦2,474,560

Breakdown:
Interest per day: ₦3,420
Total Interest for 24 weeks: ₦574,560 Total Payable Amount: ₦2,474,560

So the conflict in the north involving bandits and insurgents is another territorial conquest.
It seems more like a scripted conflict being carried out to disparage the Northern region or middle belt. Peace and security is one of the attainable conditions the north needs to attain, if its economy is to develop.
yes and the issue is not only happening in Nigeria, it's going on in Niger, Mauritania, Mali, even Chad is not left out. At a time it was Central African Republic. at least nothing less than 20 to 25 African countries are facing this issue and the underneath reason is control of power and squandering of natural resources

I heard it was the kanem borno empire that stopped the hausa fulani invasion
the Fulani people must have known about the Vikings stories of Europe and how they forced their way into power taking over places like Britain, Netherland, France among others. And same was done here, all we are hearing about banditry, terrorism among others follows same antecedents. So easily the European colonialist can easily relate to it because their fore father's were into that, it would become easy to enforce divide and rule across the Sub Saharan African belt. The same issues we are complaining about here are happening in other parts and neighbourhoods too, a certain few capturing power at the expense of others courtesy the divide and rule mechanism introduced in all the colonized nations. So it's not the problem of the north but the earlier power clinchers doing all they can to still be in control and the enforcers are using poverty, divide and rule to continue their staying power

Can you make more revealing revelations about the Northern oligarchy.
We need to create a historical thread about pre 1960
The prehistorical part begins with the coming in of the originators of the Fulani dynasty from the middle east into Africa. A common concept among the middle easterers being the promise land syndrome where they believe that the land they are going to will be given to them by God and they will do all they can to get them. When they came here the large Ghana Empire that cut across west Africa was declining and then the Mali Empire emerged by the time it was declining the Fulani began spreading across the sub Saharan africa

With clamours for regional secession and the insults of calling the north a parasite, can Northern Nigeria become successful like singapore.

To secede, you need a powerful think thank strategy. A region or group of people can shadowly secede without actually physically secede, its just a strategy for a land locked sole economic prosperity. Creating an independent right way economy that would flourish like singapore. Can the north become like singapore without sea ports or oil, with the right people offering advise and a think thank strategy, any region can economically prosper
it's hardly possible because the leaders created their poverty

jesusjnr2020:
When You Realize Tithing Didn't Make Solomon Or Elon Musk World Richest Men

The length to which the prosperity preachers were taking the matter of tithing, one would think tithing has made many tithers, themselves inclusive, the richest men in the world, however that couldn't be any further from the truth, because tithing has never made any man to become world's richest, not even one.

Even king Solomon, the only man the Bible called world's richest, it wasn't tithing that made him to become the richest man in history.

In fact God Himself (who made Solomon richer than all those who lived before and after him) said the reason He gave Solomon such an unprecedented amount of riches, was because Solomon didn't ask for riches for himself, but the things that mattered to God.

1 Kings 3:11-13 (KJV)

And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

God bless.
and that is where you missed it tithing was part of what prospered Solomon, you aren't reading your Bible well

Your mum gave a very intelligent investment advise. The money you could have used to build a house or car, one self-centered lady and her parents that are privy to your income will think of bombarding you with list for bride price and products to bring especially those from Akwa Ibom, Imo and some others. If you build the house and buy the car it is in whose name, yours of course. You can sell both at any time at even an higher price. What your mum is telling you is that your business can go down at any time but if you have a house and a car you have collateral for restarting. She is seeing what you are not seeing

EducationRe: Advise His Daughter Who Is Too Good In English But Poor In Mathematics by Ynix(m): 3:54pm On Nov 21, 2024
Abujaexpress:
What career path do I advise for my daughter? Currently in J.S.S 1, she's so good at English language which has earned her several awards and commendations right from her primary school.

Although, this is her first examination at Faith Academy Secondary School, but she has started to draw the usual accolades and commendations both from her class teacher, particularly her English teacher who walked up to her in class to single her for praise as she scored 100% percent in English Language which the subject teacher acknowledged that the feat was unprecedented from her students.

In contrast, she is not as good in mathematics as she does in English language, which can be traced to the poor mathematics background from her previous schools, but I have made several arrangements to encourage her so that she can improve and get better in mathematics.

My career advice and counsel for her from the outset is for her to study Nursing or any discipline in the medical profession, but with this development, I am thinking otherwise, of she has to shift focus and major in Arts & humanities or to put extra more effort to proceed into the medical profession, particularly to become a Nurse or Doctor as we have envisaged and for which she has a strong passion.

Career advisor and Counsellors, come in and drop your expertise.
She should study Mathematics or Computer Science, it's too early to decide. Maths is very easy just let her fall in love with solving like 40 questions per day, create a strong reward system for it and see the effect
InvestmentRe: Do You Know Buying A Land In Your Child Name Is Illegal And Void? by Ynix(m): 1:22pm On Nov 20, 2024
Investigator1:
Real estate 101 with Somide Samuel

Do you know buying a land in your child name is illegal and void?

Did you know that children under 21 are not allowed to legally possess landed property in Nigeria? Purchasing land in your child's name might seem like a considerate move, but it could lead to major legal issues down the road.

Here is why:
1. Absence of an occupancy certificate (C of O): Since minors are not legally recognized as owners, the government will not issue a C of O for land registered in their names.

2. Ownership Conflicts: Since juveniles lack the legal competence to possess property, it would be very difficult to defend title in court if there was ever a dispute over the land.

3. Government Acquisition: It would be very challenging to establish ownership and demand payment in situations where the government requires the land for public uses.

The Best Way to Secure Property for Your Children To avoid these issues, always register the land in your name and designate your child as trustee. When they reach 21, you can transfer ownership through a Deed of Gift. Minors can inherit property through a will, with trustees maintaining it until they reach the legal age. Protect your investment by adhering to the law. Taking shortcuts today may lead to regret later. Secure your children's future in the proper way!
another option is to create a trust that will then own the land
