Thanks Dear. I think it took 2 and a half weeks. I wasn't working on it everyday though because I had my regular job to go to.

I want to make a simple bag for a friend. Our made in Nigeria acrylic doesn't have the stiffness of a 100% cotton yarn that the pattern needs. Has anyone tried a bag? What materials did you use?

From time to time I experiment with various fibres. I've used t-shirt yarn, plastic yarn, embroidery thread, nylon fishing twine (its usually white and comes in cones), even soft wire to crochet jewelry?

How about you?

I'm working on a 6-leaf cluster shawl for a friend.

Meanwhile you can triple our acrylic yarn and use the smallest of hooks. That will give your bag a lot of strength.

Please when you buy something from Amazon, do they bring it to your doorstep? Someone ordered a set of crochet hooks from abroad.

If you buy via mall for Africa, you will have to pick it up at their office.

Amazon delivers to the address you quote normally.
Just make sure the address is one that can be located with ease.

I started loom knitting in 2009. It's far easier and faster than the regular knitting.
There are numerous YouTube tutorials on how to get started.

You could make yours just like BobiJoe carves hooks.

Looks pretty all the same. Well done.
When you are joining a new colour, don't bother starting the new round from where the previous one ended. Just do the ch3 into any of the 2-ch spaces and continue the round from there.

It makes the work neat by hiding your colour changing point.

i hope it looks like a triangle.

Congrats girl! you really did well. In starting the 2nd round, the ch3 and then 2dc should not show any gaps. You should not let the tension slack so that they look like 3dc.

Pattern reading is easy, just like we did in the early tutorials. The little circles are chains while the other one that looks like a crossed "T" is dc.
