Politics / Re: Kenyan Foreign Minister Mocks GEJ For Bringing 7 Jets to Kenya by yomanovic: 5:50am On Jan 31, 2015 |
Brightology2: Bro, with the AIT online incident, its clear that a free and fair election will send GEJ packing. The President himself and his various supporters have seen the handwriting on the wall and that's evident in the PDP's desperate plans to shift the election by 6 good months so that they can go back to the drawing board. You have been preseident for 6 years and you are jittery over election. If I were to be GEJ, I would be considering 'resignation' at a time like this cos he's got about only 20 percent of Nigerians behind him. I guess the seat has never been this hot |

DevilishKiller: what a very dumb post. GEJ is incubent now and there is every chance pdp use the armed force to intimate voters and opposition for their own favour, the way it has always been. |

Politics / Re: Tinubu Finally Admits Buhari Has No Certificate? by yomanovic: 4:02am On Jan 31, 2015 |
mtprofessor5: All Tinubu tries to tell you is that GMB got to the highest rank in the army, a level that's not possible without proper education. He even went ahead and attended military colleges both in the US and in the UK which puts him at par with Professors(and not even GEJ's doctorate level). Moreover, GEJ who has a doctorate degree has governed Nigeria for 6 good years already but lives of Nigerians is only getting worse because of his tolerance towards corruption. So why won't I give someone, who is known to be desciplined, a chance? |
Politics / Re: Court Lifts Suspension On APC's Fund-Raising Platform by yomanovic: 5:20am On Jan 29, 2015 |
ichidodo: This is the more reasons PDP is losing it. You have all only concentrated on defaming Buhari and its very clear to see. Nigerians are no longer docile though. And we told you already that 'if Buhari presents NEPA bill as his certificate, we'll vote for him'. Meanwhile, Canbridge that coordinated the said certificate examination has proved your insinuations wrong but you people won't campaign for yourselves but Buhari. Na why Sambo go North go tell Hausas that thay should not vote for Buhari because his vp candidate is a Pastor and has over 5000 churches. Is that not an abysmal thinking? To be realistic, pdp cannot take Nigeria anywhere. They will only make Nigerians poorer. |

clevvermind: Are you literate? What's your definition of 'literate'? Is your statement 'a semi illiterate' a correct expression? What exactly are your points self? Oh! You think the fact that you earn a Doctorate Degree in Zoology makes you literate? I think its high time we made ourselves understand that literacy is no more the ability to read and write. Its a thing of the mind which must show in the way you think, talk and live. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Children Scramble In Gutters For Noodles, sweets Thrown By PDP In Lagos (photo) by yomanovic: 11:48pm On Jan 20, 2015 |
I read some comments of nairalanders supporting pdp on this thread about poverty in Lagos and I feel very ashame of my country Nigeria. Because pdp wants vote, they have come, in their usual manners to throw money around. When they eventually get the vote, they vanish into thin air. Well! The act says it all! Its election time, chop now and when elections are gone, go back to your hunger-stricken life. But come to think of it, where were the givers of the free indomie two years ago while there was no election? If these very items are thrown at people in pdp governed states, won't people even respond more to it compared to Lagos? I bet you, pdp has reduced this country of profound wealth to abject poverty. Its a shame and dirty slap on the face of this country Nigeria, that the ruling party reduced Nigerians to non-entity by throwing sweets into the gutter to pick. Its a big shame. It only explains the mode they have operated all the while and they'll continue to operate: stay up their and look down on Nigerians. Besides, Nigerians seem to the usually gullible people who suffer but yet smile. 1 Like |
Family / Re: How Many Men Still Do This In Nigeria ? (pics) by yomanovic: 9:27pm On Jan 19, 2015 |
As the first child in the family and meanwhile, dad was not usually around during the week, I was always with my mum in the corridor kitchen. So as early as my primary school days, I could do both lafu(white coloured amala) and amala dudu(brown coloured amala). I can prepare most types of swallows the likes of pounded yam and fufu which we're not used to in the family. As a bachelor, I cook even with my stressful job. And when eventually married even when wifey isn't heavy, I'll do it when the assistance is NECESSARY, not always. 2 Likes |

clefstone: The society conditions it. It was not like that in the 70s and 80s but these days, means of survival is very harsh which really makes us to tilt towards the demand the present day requires. Like am 28 and a job am applying requires the maximum age of 26. I have to tilt. @op, I feel your pain and I also wish to do the same but I bet it may land you in trouble especially in foreign land. In my opinion, I think you should continue your life or better still, seek advice from a counsellor, a lawyer, just someone who is more enlightened. Most nairalanders will just make jest of u here. 1 Like 1 Share |

Who cares? All that matters to me is that pdp has not bettered the lot of Nigerians. All the pdp does is just to tarnish gmb's image while the image of pdp is nothing to write home about. They'll say Nigeria economy is the largest in Africa but we all know that things are worse than it was in early 99 b4 they took over. The Naira keeps depreciating and yet some shit-asrse kpastow is here telling me rubbish. |
