AmaechiLinus: You see yourself now! That's how deceptive the government of the present Nigeria is. The umbrella that cannot accommodate pdp members and they've run for cover in other parties is what you are telling me that even a blind man knows where it is? Ok I guess you are right that the blind man knows that the umbrella has made Nigeria stagnant and he therefore knows where it is already because it has been standing in one place and refused to move us forward! Therefore, even the blind man now yearns for CHANGE!!! 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: APC- Nigerian Version Of The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Party by yomanovic: 6:18am On Mar 11, 2015 |
A very daft post. For God's sake why is PDP always like this? Yes, they have many muslims but well-reasoning Nigerians know that most of the people at the helm of affairs in Nigeria are actually not religious at all. In short, majority of them belong to occultic groups. Has Lagos State in the last 16 they've ruled been islamiised? Of course no! Unfortunately, in the last 16 years of our democracy, christian presidents have ruled for 14 years but only for 2 years has a Muslim president been there before his demise. Funny enough Nigeria under those 2 years had positive trend than the remaining 14 years that we had xtian presidents. So @OP, what a meaningless point have you made! 1 Like |

Politics / Stakeholders Hail Card Readers Trial In Ekiti by yomanovic: 3:58pm On Mar 07, 2015 |
www.punchng.com/news/stakeholders-hail-card-readers-trial-in-ekiti/ There was low turnout of potential voters in Ekiti on Saturday as eligible residents participated in the test- running of the card reader by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The mock accreditation was conducted in Dallimore, Ward 009, with 21,631 registered voters of which 14,461 had collected their Permanent Voter Cards. As of 11.30am, no fewer than 60 people had been accredited in Dallimore polling unit 002. The Technical Officers revealed that the average time for the accreditation ranged between four and six seconds. Members of European Union Election Observers, Mrs Rumi Ana Decheva and Mr Uros Urstga, who monitored the mock accreditation, commended INEC for the initiative, saying it would help in enhancing the credibility of the country’s electoral process. The chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties in Ekiti State, Tunji Ogunlola, in an interview with our correspondent after monitoring the exercise, said, “It is very transparent, reliable and fast. It will make rigging impossible.” Ogunlola, who said he monitored the exercise in company with a few other political parties, commended INEC for a job well done and advised all Nigerians to support the commission. Former Commissioner for Tourism under ex- Governor Kayode Fayemi’s government, Alhaji Ayodele Jinadu, and ex-Chairman, Ado Ekiti Local Government, Mr Sunday Ibitoye, described the exercise as a huge success. The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr Sam Olumekun, who monitored the event, said it had convinced Nigerians about the usefulness and relevance of the device in the coming general elections. He said, “We would have appreciated if the turnout has been better, but we have been able to convince the people about the workability of the machines, which was the main issue. “We are compiling the list of those who cannot be accredited with these machines. Their cases will be reported to Abuja for necessary actions. If you see the number of times it required to get people accredited, one will be convinced that the Smart Card Reader has been a success. Some spent even less than two minutes, some four seconds and some not accredited at all. “We are compiling the Incident Report Forms to be able to look into all these variations and come out with a form to use.” |

Politics / Re: Certificate Forgery Scandal Rocks National Broadcasting Commission by yomanovic: 8:50am On Mar 07, 2015 |
Trailblazer1: Well... The pdp is known to escalate baseless issues. I think you are brain-dead to bring up Buhari issue here becuase if you are not, you'll see in the report that the Higher Institution that the lady claimed to have obtained the certificate confirmed that the ciritificate is fake. The Institutions that Buhari attended, including Higher Military Institutions in the UK and in the US confirmed that he was actually there, and not just there but along with some High-ranked retired military officers in those countries with those still living confirming it. To show how desperate PDP is in tarninshing Buhari's image, they went further to threaten the life of the current Principal of the Buhari's Secondary, promising to deal with him for releasing the statement of result of the people's General. How desperate and debasing the ruling party has been. Back to the real issue, this high level of corruption is what Buhari was against while he ruled as a military head of state and he was bent on punishing corrupt practices like this, including drug dealings that seemed to be order of the day by highly placed powers. They saw this and realised that his zero tolerance to corruption wouldn't allow them to perpetuate their selfish and very evil desires. They therefore surplanted him by force. The real selfish reason why a coup to remove Buhari was done is what has led the country to its present predicament. Nigerians can testify to it. He fought corruption then and corruption, he will fight again. CHANGE is what we want! And CHANGE we embrace. Enough of brain dead corrupt PDP. |
Romance / Re: Would Relationships Survive If "Sex" Was Removed by yomanovic: 8:23am On Mar 07, 2015 |
steppin: Most correct statement. God has made everything perfect in the first instance. So, if God hadn't programmed sex, then human being wouldn't even develop the urge in the first instance and life would still have gone normal. Besides, Adam and Eve were prohibited from eating the forbidden fruit(sex) and there was no urge until the temptation of mankind by the devil. God knew it all along. He is AWESOME GOD! |

I am a supporter of Buhari but if the people feel Shetima's government didn't give them attention, they have the power to vote another candidate. They should therefore, vote wisely. A governor that didn't answer to their call in his first term doesn't deserve their votes. Shikannah!!! |

Politics / Re: Po-Military Group Protest Against Punch, Daily Trust, Leadership Newspapers by yomanovic: 8:07pm On Mar 05, 2015 |
PDP itself dragged the Nigerian Military in the muds. Take for instance, the use of the military to rig Ekiti elections. Another case is telling Nigerians that Gen Buhari, a man who served Nigeria and attained the highest military post in country is illiterate even when its glaring that he attended military courses(that can be rated with Bsc, Masters and probably Phd). Why are Nigerians now complaining when Jonathan's government has reduced the military to errand boys? Its the fault of the government now!!! Moreso, Janathan never really took the issue of security, and as a matter of facts, all issues that concern Nigerians serious until he realised that Nigerians want him out. It is now that he is seeking re-election that he now knows that he should react to the yearnings of Nigerians. It only shows that if he comes back, now our suffering continues(NYSC). I felt he should have acted faster. But some people like the press as watchdogs cannot be fooled. Moreso, I won't be surprised if the protesters are later seen skirmishing all because the money for the job done as promised was not dispensed to them or the promised amount reduced. 2 Likes |

dunkem21: Sharrap abeg. The postponement of election has definitely made GEJ to go back to the drawing which is what everyone is doing. Of course, if the election is further postponed, there will always be more to do before it is eventually conducted since this is the first time such a system is done. I'm not in the line of science but I know an experiment is never perfect at the one exercise. So fuckoff to hell with your vain intelligence, bastard. |

SeverusSnape: I feel very disappointed each time GEJ is being mentioned as if he has done anything those youths mentioning his name have benefited from other than the campaign monies shared to them and already spent. We really need to move forward in this country. Mehn, and we need to realise that things need a turn around in this country. |
