It's all worth it. I am not lucky, you don't know how much i have prayed. So I am finally going to obodo oyibo, so il finally celebrate my birthday at Miami beach, so il finally have half caste children with long original hair. So il finally find love like Aarti and Yash.
My brothers and sisters, brace yourself, buckle your seatbelt, it's going to be a very long write up, get ready for my transcript....!!!!!

Lol. Be careful with the kind of advice you take. Not everyone on the thread knows how the system works for students in the USA. Don't do something for short term benefits that would have long term implications. That's all I would say.
Congrats and good luck.
Thank u

You can still do that from house to house and make money.

I did it somewhere else but it was English and computer stuffs and was able to survive without relying heavily on my family. My dad at a time was worried I never asked for money.

It was a chick who brought me the link. Sometimes when I talk to a girl, I'm looking at what she can offer, not really about getting laid!
Interesting, I will work on that. Thanks for this info.

Good day house.
My initial application for a MS program was for Spring 2015 but was denied visa. I deferred my admission till Fall 2015 and I was granted visa. However, at the mmt, arrangement never set well and I want to know if it is safe n advisable to request another deferment from the school till Spring 2016 while I stay bk in Nigeria OR I make the trip to the US ( I have funds for that), appear in person at the school then ask for deferment till the next semester. Please I need to know the risks involved, I await your helpful responses.
Thanks
This may help. http://redbus2us.com/f1-visa-defer-admission-in-us-schools-i20-visa-issues-fees-process-how-to-defer/

What if u were not shortlisted but u met all the necessary qualifications, is there any harm in going to the exam venue on the exam day? May be one can get lucky. Since there's no code needed for the exam. Just saying though. winkWhat if u were not shortlisted but u met all the necessary qualifications, is there any harm in going to the exam venue on the exam day? May be one can get lucky. From my observation, I don't think som1 that qualifies is not short listed. For u to be qualified, u must pass these 3 ; education qualification( here u must have 2:1 and ur course of study must correspond with post apply for), age and height. But u can try ur luck

Na wa o!!!!! The poor grasp of simple oyibo by some people is becoming distressing sha. The company says by taking d Test you are confirming your availability to PARTICIPATE in the programme (IF SUCCESSFUL) AND LEAST 10 DAYS AFTER RESULTS HAVE BEEN COMMUNICATED.
The capitalised words and sentences should be enough to make clear to any 2.1 graduate, (which is one of the criteria for qualification), that an individual would have to be aware if he/she is successful within a period of at least 10 days because obviously the programme itself would be starting at least 10 days from when you got your test result.
The test ended on the 21st of this month. At least 10 days from that date comes up as July 1st, 2015. Before that date individuals should know if they are on for the next stage or not.
Abeg biko you guys should not come here and confuse people with your different interpretations of such simple guidelines.
and u graduated with 2.1? At least 10 days means ( greater than or equal to 10 days). So the upper bound is infinite. If it is at most 10 days, it means it won't exceed the 10 days.(lesser than or equal to)

Congrats Yomi, Kindly go ahead with your visa processing if you have the funds and time to and defer your admission to spring. Visa on your passport here really do not matter, what matters is if you're still in status. Considering the nature of getting preferred dates at this rush hour

Before you defer kindly make sure you can also get your funding and TA for fall semester.
Thank you very much. I appreciate ur contribution.

Better to defer no point wasting the validity of the F1 and unsettling your studies with renewal wahala.
But its your call. Whats the value of the TA by the way and how much is the balance.
Thank u. TA is abt $800/month. balance after funding is abt $9000

I got admission @ ETSU with funding and TA and I ve received my I-20. But honestly I can't afford to travel this fall due to financial issue. Pls should I go on with my visa process and defer my admission till spring after getting the visa ( can I still use same visa for spring?) or I shouldn't bother to process the visa for now and defer?
