I have operated a game lounge before and it was always very peaceful. Never had the parents or police come interfere with our business. I operated a no uniform setting. It is a very rewarding business and I suggest you register your company and ensure you have your rules boldl written around the lounge. I stopped mine when I got a job and found out people were stealing money from me. I lost the passion but will hope to revive it again soon. I wish you success. |
cliveland:Because it is scary and we are not wired for such forceful approaches from ladies especially when curses and the likes are involved. poster u have obviously dated this lady for sometime, it isnt like she kidnapped u and perhaps u knew what she craved for not "demanded" from the onset and obviously pretended you could give in, now u come painting her bad, that isnt fair man, man up your responsibilities. if she has given so much to "u" then crown it all by standing by her till die.To stand by her is not the issue but there is always an underlying fator when an older lady wants you to marry her by fire by force. Be very careul mate, people in your shoes no dey find am easy at the end of the day. if i was luck to find a lady 2-5 older than me when i was almost ready and she wasnt going to be liability financially, emotionally and physically i'll stroll down the alter happily.Guy, leave story now. My 2 kobo advise. |
Ose! Madam Umblella, |
"He who live in glass house, should not throw stones" He has been caught napping, |
Pataki:Thanks Pataki, Hope we get to chat or talk more later as we might be able to learn one or two things from one another. Cheers. |
Pataki:@Pataki, I am just sharing a personal experience and what I have also seen over time. It does not mean that it will work for him but I am just pointing him to the option that worked for me. It is left for him to look at all points and decide which is best suited for his ownn kind of case. My sponsor is in 9ja. Regards. |
Pataki:The appeal has nothing to do with whosoever is there. Ensure that your appeal is strongly worded and that you pass across your sincere feeling concerning the ECO's decision. Make sure you put all back up documents and enough evidence to justify that you have been wrongly judged. Pray and hope for the best. I wrote my appeal myself without an immigration lawyer, without anybody representing me, I won the appeal and I just collected my passport and visa yesterday. All the best man. |
Hello Nairalanders, Just got back from BDHC Lagos and I have finally being issued a visa to commence my studies in the UK. Thanks to God and all Nairalanders. All the best to the others awaiting this kind of message. Cheers. |
Asylum and Immigration Tribunal PO Box 7866 Loughborough LE11 2XZ |
abaka:Dont even consider submitting it to the BHC Lagos, just send straight to Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, you have limited time to get your appeal and all documents across to them. "If you want something done well, do it yourself" Best of luck in your appeal. |
brownbaby:Hi Brownbaby, Which school did apply for and what is the change of school thing you talked about. I am supposed to be in the UK by next Monday to resume for my Master's degree but my passport is not yet out from the British Embassy. I will like tokeep in touch with you as I might be arriving late and will need one or two dorections from you. Regards, |
Good to hear that, keep it up, all the best. |
kadman:Hi all, You can track your appeal process as long as you have the reference number, just call AIT and give them all required details, they will in turn give you the status of your appeal. Cheers. |
taratj:@Tara, A letter is supposed to have been sent to you detailing the name of appealant and the Reference No with which all correspondence between you and the Asylum and Immigration tribunal (AIT) will be done. Without the reference number, you can basically do nothing. I don't think the said person has sent anything to them or maybe the address he gave in his letter is an address you donot have access to, find him and have him divulge all details to about the appeal to you. Also beg him to be truthful so you can approach this matter appropriately. All the best. |
vikiviko:@dareno, Remember that there is a time limit to appealing the ECO's decision and as such writing a petition and waiting for their reply will definitely have jeopardize your chances of writing your appeal. Personally, I advice you get your documents together and write a very strong appeal. Cheers. |
@all, Good that we have someone there who can give full info but I know tuition in Finland is still free. Lets await info from dapsycool. all the best. |
promise2:Try www.hse.fi/EN since you want to do your Master's in Business Administration. Remember that it is free tuition and as a result getting admission is very competitive. I wish you the very best. Let me know of the outcome. Cheers. |
promise2:@promise2 Finnish schools are also free tuition just like their Swedish counterparts. Check online and you will get all schools in Finland where you can do your Master's degree. Best of luck. |
yettidear:Thanks for the prompt reply but I have not submitted any documents as of now. All docs were submitted with the first application about a year ago and I just have the Letter containing the Appeal Decision, a new UNCONDITIONAL OFFER LETTER from the school I want to attend and my passport. Please what else will I need? Cheers. |
Hi all, I have my appeal allowd since July 3rd and I have not been called by the British Embassy. I went there yesterday since my school will resume 15th of September and I am just three (3) weeks away from resumption, I was told that they are working on it and hopefully they will call me before school's resumption. What do you guys advise, is there HOPE? Thanks. |
thanks tinkinfela for ur reply, will get back to you if i need more info. |
tinkinfela:Thanks tinkinfela, i will be waiting for your detailed feedback. God bless you. |
vikiviko:@vikiviko Please can you outline what and what is needed to apply for Swedish Visa for Master's degree studies in Sweden. Thanks. |
@tinkinfela, Please i need details about the things that will be needed at the Swedish Migration Board when applying for a student permit. I am going over for my Master's degree in one of the Swedish university. The documents that will be needed and the timing it will take. How are your studies going and how are you finding the place now? Take care. |
ilekky:Thanks for your reply. I have gone to my school and I was told that they will be required to send verification for the transcript sent. I am working hard so that the school can send the verification as soon as possible. Best of luck to myself and others in my shoes. |
Derby:It is better for you to book appointment at www.ukvac-ng.com before you go to submit. I did for my sister at the VAC in Zenon House and submission was easy, if you did not book online before going, you will have to wait for those that book online to submit first before you can do yours. I prefer you go to the one on the island as I hear the Ikeja is always so packed full of people and they are not organized. All the best. |
sholasys:I second sholasys strongly. |
frenchman:Dont be daunted by what people say, if you have got the right experience and expertise, you can sure make it real good here. All I will advice is for you to look for the job from UK, strike the deal and if favourable, come alone to check out the job for like six months, if you find the job and environment encouraging, then you can consider bringing home your wife and kids. I work in the IT industry and I can say that, time and chance is all that matters in life. It is not all that rosy in the UK too and you can confirm that. Try Telecommunications or Oil and Gas firms or Management positions in the Banking or other sector, you would haave weighed you options before coming home. Last and the main issue- "Man, follow your heart and not what people want for you." All the best man. |
It just keeps going from worst to God knows what next. We all need to sensitize ourselves about this kind attitude, it is becoming so embarrasing. Let us not keep quiet about this. God help us all. |
It's very easy, go to www.studera.nu and apply.

@tinkinfela, thanks for the info. i know about studera.nu but since you have been successful it is easier to move from a working angel than to start from the scratch. Lets ride on your shoulder so we can see further, hope you buy my idea. |
@opensource All hope is not lost, there is always the chance for us to maximaze our potentials, this is an opportunity for you to get back on track and ensure that the next application is done perfectly well. @tinkinfela Congratulations and I wish you the very best in your studies. Can you give me and others who might be interested the low down on what and what you did to secure the admission and also the visa. (Pardon me if this has been treated before, I am relatively new here) @all Lets keep ourselves informed, always. |
@promise2 Thanks so much for your reply, i will get to work on the people in my school to see what can be done about it. @christy3 The school is Blekinge Institute of Technology (www.bth.se). @olawunmi What course did you apply for and when is it supposed to start, have you accepted the offer and what do u plan to do next? Also what are the documents you sent and please do give me the full details of what you did. I am online currently so we can keep sending info. @others Your contributions are also welcome, we will all get there. |
