Thanks yomifowe, in a situation where I did not create a restore point before, will it still work?

Try this;

This method only occasionally works to restore permanently deleted files or folders from its previous version in Windows 7 or even older Windows OS.

Step 1. Create a new file or folder on the desktop and name it as the same as the deleted file or folder.

Step 2. Right-click the new file or folder and choose "Restore previous versions". Windows will search for and list the previous versions of files or folders with this name along with their associated dates.

Step 3. Choose the latest version and click "Restore" to get your deleted file or folder back. If this doesn’t work then you’ll have to use a third party files folder recovery tool like https://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizardpro/

Locate your last restore point on your computer and return it back to that earliest after you deleted the file.

It spin and find it difficult to detect the disc.After it start installing windows 10, at the end of the process it displayed window 10 not successfully install. I asked someone,the person said the CDROM sensor is weak ,that I need to change the CDROM to new one.

As the life of a PC grows, some components begin to wane. One example is the cd rom and another is HDD. So for installation of these magnitude, the cd rom would not be sufficient for such.

I’ll advise you look for an external cd/dvd rom or take the installation to a technician.

Pls I'll like you to be more specific. Pls just describe what happened after you installed the disk. Did it not spin, or is it an error message you saw displayed on your screen? Pls be more specific.

Missing operating system means your boot manager is unable to locate your operating system on your hard drive. It's either a corrupt operating system or faulty hard drive. Try reinstalling the operating system. If it doesn't work then it's a faulty hard drive.

Good evening Engr. My laptop won't boot. Before then it said OS not found. I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. After then when I shut down and power it back on, it doesn't boot. It'd just show starting Windows and hang there. I'd turn off using power button and turn on again but it still won't go past Starting Windows. Secondly, it's a core i5 2.4GHz processor 500gb/4gb and it's still slow in processing. What could be wrong? Thank you

Most likely your hard drive is failing and needs to be replaced. One way to find out is to try reinstalling your os. if it doesn't go through them your HDD is bad needing a replacement

I have 3 problems
1.Anytime I plug my HP windows 10 laptop to charge and I mistakenly put my hand on the USB port or any of the ports, it shocks (electric) me.
2.Secondly when I charge the battery to 100% it doesn't last for More than 2 minutes.
3. My laptop indicates the white light (showing battery full) even when the battery is at 48% and it will refuse to charge

First and foremost you don’t put your hands on bare metal when your device doesn’t s plugged to power, however I’ll find out why the electric shock.

The other issue I’m suggesting is a faulty battery that is. It retaining charge. There’s nothing you can do on the charger other than to replace it.

In my own opinion, I don’t think you should bother yourself with servicing it. It just means that you’ve been maintaining it very well by way of use.

Good evening. I have a serious issue with my iPhone 6 and I need urgent help. My battery just keeps draining away, both when in use and when not unused. It started when an engineer said my battery was faulty and it was changed. That week, I went back to the engineer and changed the battery twice all but no avail.

Presently, I have wiped the phone off, was told to reinstall the iOS, told to reduce background light , but still the problem persists.

You can also seek people’s opinion before buying to be safe as some tout ‘follow cone’ batteries as the best as against new ones.

This is commendable. Well done mr President sir and mr. Fashola. We need more of this in every state, especially Lagos. A should be given that nobody should be allocated more than one unit so that the allocation would not be hijacked by the rich and influential.

Its showing battery life moderate on the bios
It has decrease to a point now i cant charge pass 13℅

Of course we can’t rule out a faulty battery. Buying a good laptop cannot guaranty one a good batter as this is a game of chance. What I’ll however suggest is that before you pay for a battery, kindly test it very well to be sure it’s working optimally. If you don’t mind, I can I give you someone’s no for this (in Lagos) he can even deliver to you for a fee?

Two possibilities: the power jack has come loose from the motherboard hence the batter idle error on bios, or the charging circuitry on the motherboard has failed. A repair of the jack by a technician will fix the whole thing.

Please the name of my system is Asus X42j, always giving issue of display driver, the driver name is AMD Radeon 5000, av download different version of the driver for window 8.1, If it managed work for days it will crash and restart the system but B4 shutting down it will count to 100% with atikmpag.sys fault display on the screen.
It will now restart but the screen will not come up, I later come up with idea of updating the driver back to default Microsoft basic driver, but the display is wack no graphics, but with the default driver av not experience crash, but any help I can do to get this driver issue fix one and for all with constant crashing

I really don’t know the reason for the crash. However, I can deduce that you’re yet to get the updated graphics driver hence the constant crash of your PC.

Kindly login to Microsoft website and try and do another thorough search for the driver. If not found, locate the windows community and post this issue. Someone will definitely respond to your queries and maybe post the link of the driver. There was a time I spent more than a week looking online for a laptop s network before I eventually found it.

I’m back, I’m sorry for the delay. The error you posted can be resolved the following ways. Try each before you eventually reinstall in the case of no progress gained with the system boot;


Remove the non-system disk from the computer and reseat it properly.
Reset the boot sequence
Test the hard drive
Remove and Reinstall the Hard Drive
Reinstall Windows
Schedule a Repair
