Mikel played every game since joining Middlesborough in January. He left, he wasn't released. Mikel does more for the players even off the pitch. He is still our best passer in midfield and controls the game well. He may not be as fast or mobile as Iwobi is, but he has got a better vision and knows how to hold up play to create a running chance for his team mates. He only lost one ball in the game. Other times, the Burundians needed to foul him first in order to disposes him. He didn't feature so much in the first half, but how well do we play in the first half?
Sometimes, a change is what the game needs not because the guy in there was bad, but because the tactics wasn't working with him inside.

As long as Sam Chukwjeze played well, I'm satisfied. With good mentoring, that guy is a future superstar. .. and I mean of Real Madrid/Barcelona proportions. Watch him often in Laliga.... exceptional talent.

Chukwueze is a baller! The guy plays with so much confidence for his age and experience. Watch his highlight and see how he runs the defence ragged. If only he has a good right foot, he would have scored. Iwobi too was brilliant. But i didn't like how they gave a lowly Burundi side too much space on the ball. Also, our defenders are poor passers and made too many unnecessary back passes to a gittery Akpeyi who needs to be injected with a dose of confidence.
