68-year-old landlord arrested for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl in Anambra


68-year-old Linus Onuzulike has been arrested by men of the Anambra State Police Command for allegedly defiling a 7-year-old girl in Abagana in Njikoka Local Government.

The suspect was paraded alongside fifteen others for different offenses at the Police Command’s headquarters over the weekend.

Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, also confirmed the arrest of a 24-year-old man over the rape of a 16-year old girl. He explained that the suspect had voluntarily confessed to the crime, adding that the suspects would be charged after investigations.

Speaking to newsmen, Mr. Onuzulike, denied the rape allegations, saying he was accused by the victim’s mother, who happened to be his sister after they had a misunderstanding.

He said: “Benedict said I raped her 7-year old girl, but I didn’t. She’s my blood sister, married in Umudioka.

“She came to my house after putting to bed and pleaded I should accommodate her.

” I gave her a room in my house. She accused me of raping the daughter because of the misunderstanding I’m having with her.

Adamu Ra’uf, a 20-year-old man who is one of the suspects who allegedly took part in the cutting of the private parts of a six-year-old girl for suspected ritual purposes in Bauchi State has confessed.

He said that he was charmed by his friend who is now at large to take part in the dastardly act.

The incident was said to have occurred at about 7.20 pm on December 30, 2020.

The suspect, Adamu Ra’uf (20), an indigene of Gandu Jama’are Local Government Area, who was arrested by the state’s police command, confessed upon interrogation that he conspired with one Abdulkadir Haladu of Chikamidari in the area to perpetrate the crime.

Narrating his role in the incident to newsmen at the headquarters of the Bauchi State Police Command yesterday, Rauf said: ”My friend Haladu and I took the victim to an uncompleted building where her private parts were mutilated on the instruction of a native doctor who said he would use it to make money for us.


”My friend used charm to lure the girl to the uncompleted building. Then he brought out a knife and asked me to hold her skirt.

I was not aware that he had cut off her private part. What I know is that he later came into a house where we hid and showed me the part he had cut off.


”I told him to count me out of what had happened, but he warned that he would kill me if I told anybody about it.”

Ghanaian Soldier Was Just Arrested For Having Sekz With 14-Year-Old At Burma Camp

A Ghanaian soldier has been arrested by the Ghana Military Police for allegedly having sekz with a 14-year-old girl at Burma Camp in Accra.

The accused, a 53-year-old laborer of the Ghana Military Police residing at Burma Camp, Accra allegedly defiled the teen girl.

He however pleaded not guilty.

The Court presided over by Mrs. Adelaide Abui Kadey, remanded Okyere into Military custody to reappear on January 27.

The prosecution said the victim is a 14-year-old Junior High School Student, residing with the father who is the complainant in the case. Detective Sergeant Aniagyei said Okyere was also residing at Burma Camp and that the complainant and Okyere worked in the same Regiment and were very good friends.

yawabase reports that a male nurse in Indonesia has been suspended after admitting that he stripped off his personal protective equipment (PPE) to have sex in a toilet with a man infected with COVID-19, according to reports.

“It is true that there has been a suspected incident of a same-sex relationship between a health worker and a COVID-19 patient at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital,” said Asep Gunawan of the National Nurses Association.
