A 16-year-old boy, Adeniyi Muhammed, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing 16 ladies underwear.
Muhammed was arrested following a report by one Amudalat Opaleye in Nigeria.

A Tibetan man named Jamphel Yeshi set himself on fire during a protest in New Delhi, India. The activists were expressing their revolt against the Chinese rule of the Himalayan region.

The scene took place hours before the arrival of Chinese President Hu Jintao. On March 26, 2012, a summit of the emerging market nations was organized.

Deeper Life High School has responded to allegations that a JSS 1 student was molested in the Akwa Ibom branch of the school.

In a viral video, a mother interviewed her son who returned home from the school and he opened up about some of the abuses he was allegedly subjected to.

US has banned its citizens from travelling to 12 Nigerian states.

News from yawabase Nigeria reports that the United States Embassy in Nigeria has cautioned American citizens to reconsider traveling to Nigeria due to COVID-19, crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, and maritime crime.

This online news platform understands that the US in a notice shared on its official website and Twitter, cautioned its citizens residing in Nigeria against intra and inter state movements as crimes tend to increase during holidays in the country.


“We remind U.S. citizens to exercise caution while traveling and residing in Nigeria. Crime is endemic throughout Nigeria, ranging from petty street crime to carjacking, and crime levels tend to increase during the holidays,” the embassy wrote, highlighting danger zones in the country.

 US has  cautioned its citizens residing in Nigeria against traveling to Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, and Yobe states for fear of terrorism and kidnap.


The US in its notice, also identified Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross Rivers, Delta, and Rivers states as “unsafe coastal areas” out of fear of possible civil unrest, kidnapping, and maritime crime.


“Violent crime – such as armed robbery, assault, carjacking, kidnapping, and rape – is common throughout the country. Exercise extreme caution throughout the country due to the threat of indiscriminate violence.

“Terrorists continue plotting and carryin out attacks in Nigeria, especially in the North-east. Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting shopping centers, malls, markets, hotels, places of worship, restaurants, bars, schools, government installations, transportation hubs, and other places where crowds gather,” the embassy noted.

A young woman, Egbe Ogocukwu Rita, who was declared missing at Uwelu-Ibeku in Opi Town, Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, has been found dead.

According to reports, her body was discovered on Saturday, December 19, with multiple stab wounds and some of her pubic hair removed.

It was gathered that the deceased went missing Saturday, December 12, when she went for a condolence visit at a neighbouring village, Amukpa Ogbozala, Opi, where her body was found.

Her death was confirmed on Saturday, December 19, by a member of the community, Engineer Nnabuike, who initially posted the missing person report.

The Google-owned family of apps have crashed for thousands of users worldwide.

This includes Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and YouTube as well as the main search engine.

Outage tracker site DownDetecter clocked tens of thousands of users reporting issues with the sites around 11:40am.

Problems were reported mainly in Europe but also in Australia, the east coast of the USA and parts of Africa, South America and Asia.

Google’s websites are some of the most popular in the world, with its video-streaming site YouTube frequented by more than two billion people every month.

Unlike other tech firms like Facebook, outages are rare at Google, DailyMail reports.

By 11:54am, there was more than 50,000 complaints for YouTube alone. with half (49 per cent) regarding issues with the website and 43 per cent pertaining to problems watching videos.

Gmail had 23,000 complaints before midday and Google’s main site had a reported 19,000 complaints.

Eighty-one and 91 per cent of the issues with these sites, respectively, was to do with logging in, according to DownDetector.

MailOnline has approached Google for comment.

Other affected sites includes Google Meet, Hangouts and the Play Store as well as the Pokemon Go game, which is made by Niantic, another Google-owned company.

It appears the outage is not uniform, with some users reporting a ‘400 error message’ while it is working fine for others.

However, a quick test at the London office of MailOnline reveals, Sheets, Gmail and YouTube are offline.

The truth must be told,  Igbos under the cover of the Administration and Government of Buhari has made it very open  How risky and dangerous it is for anyone to say that he's a Nigerian, this is a proven fact.

Nigerians In diaspora,most especially their youths finds it very hard to raise their flag up in the midst of other countries,  95 percent of Nigerians living abroad prefer to be addressed as either a Ghanaian or a Togolese  because of the emblem of corruption and evil in Nigeria.

To be very candid with you,  as a Nigerian living abroad,  admitting that you're a Nigerian is a double problem for you because at the the very mention of the name "Nigeria while living abroad, there are two things involved,  you either see yourself with handcuffs in the prison or you see yourself here at Mortala Mohammed International airport Lagos
