You suffered no harm occasioned by their negligence ergo, you have no cause of action. at best you can sue for nominal damages(price paid for the drink). For better clarity see the case of Donohue vs Stevenson In pidgin- Baba you no fit sue them because that drink no wound you or cause you any injury. if to say you drink am, and belle do you somehow, carry you enter hospital and hospital say na because of wetyn u drink, then u fit sue them |
They're legit. I've being using them as my broker for about two years. Transactions with them, both deposit and withdrawals never exceed an hour. Note that, they don't make any form of transactions on weekends |
MICearn:Alright. Thanks bro |
MICearn:Thanks for the notice as promised. could you post the link |
6pack:It's my solemn prayer everything works out for you bro. |
6pack:First of, i suggest you try to make a total overhaul of the company you keep. friends play a substantial role in our lives. though, it may appear abysmal but trust me, it goes deep. a little suggestion, little nudge to do something, a whisper is enough to goad you to do an act. Second, try to have goals. not just saying it, but working towards it. each month, challenge yourself to meet a certain target. for instance, you may start with saving a particular amount from ur earnings, to be used to either purchase a land or build a house, or just outright saving. then also try to always be around people of vision. people to challenge themselves to be in a better place than they were yesterday. |
MICearn:Thanks chief |
Bro, much love for the work. Would love to suggest that you create a telegram account, where you drop the signals. seeing as not everyone is always on nairaland, neither does it provide live notifications. or if you already have a telegram group, could you provide the link. Cc:MICearn |
They would soon jump onto the thread, throwing tantrums and insult like kids bereft of common sense and reasoning. I would advice you to stop trying to educate people who are stuck with the mindset that russia is the aggressor and almighty US is all good and holy. Imagine trying to educate a kid like victorusa or whatever. someone who is yet to write jamb. Woo una get strength. Ain't saying they should not make arguments in support of their view, but when you try to dispute fact in the face of irrefutable evidence with stupidity and ignorance, you eschew nothing but constitute a nuisance and a disgrace to the entire e-audience |
All of una up there day blind? Abi una no see say na the same person |
you guys are confusing the note 11 pro and the note 11 pro+(plus) 5g. These are two different devices with different spec |
Ribbi:Contact scotweezy |
saphiere:Hanty, did you fail to see where i quoted the provisions of the vapp act, that posits that penetrating any opening (opening being the operative word) of another by any object or any part of one's body. This is the legal standpoint in nigeria, as long as our legal jurisprudence is concerned. other jurisdictions have their own legislation with i chose not to delve into concerning the issue of rape |
saphiere:In Nigeria, several laws govern the issue of unlawful carnal knowledge (rape) such as the criminal code of he south and penal code of the north and various state legislations. under the criminal code and penal, a woman cannot be said to rape a man. but with the introduction of the Vapp act(violence against persons) a woman can rape a man. the code provides that penetrating any opening of another with any object or any body part is rape. also a woman can be charged with rape under the criminal code too. though it doesn't recognize that a man can be raped, but where the woman enables another to rape a woman, or aids in the unlawful act or procures and counsel another, she can be prosecuted as a principal offender, even without charging the person who perpetrated the act. See the case of R vs mayberry |
Yes. you need english, crs( or irs depending on your faith) government, and literature in english |
Promise47:sorry bro, I can't be of help |
First and foremost i believe the lawyer who drafted the process would have sued all respondents jointly and severally. meaning if judgment goes in the plantiff favour, all of you would pay(contribution). Secondly you cant escape hiring the services of a lawyer. this isn't a matter you can just go to court and say a word or two, and the court would strike out the suit. this borders on fraudulent transaction and there's being a PND on your account, how would you apply to court to set aside such order pending determination of the substantive suit ![]() All I'm trynna say is, you need a lawyer. nairaland/online barristers won't help you |
Jafar1:Baba, look the country code from the screenshot |
dollynnn:several states have domesticated the vapp act. one of such is enugu state. don't know the exact number but over 10 have done that |
Are you selling with the charger? |
38Noob:Grand caretaker of fools, hope you've had your fill after quoting me. |
emae009:Bro, my grouse ain't with the pad series but the iPhone. I use an iPhone 11 pro and when the 12 series came out without nay major chnages, I was quite disappointed. And then everyone thought that the 13 series would make up for all the features their android counterparts has been churning out. But no!!! My criticism ain't coming from a place of hate but rather I'm just a disappointed user whose hope was quickly dashed after waiting for so long. Cos I don't see myself getting a new iPhone just because of a higher refresh rate. Hope you get my point? |
HenryDion:You sound not just pained but frustrated not just with your life but with the entirety of everything you stand for and hope to achieve. When has criticism of a product(one I also use) become a crime. If you are too poor to afford basic things of life such as a mobile phone that cost from $800-&1000, then don't turn try to rope me into your pitiable state. Judging from the nonsense you you typed up there, one can easily deduce that you ain't just a kid but an uneducated one, whose joy is to troll others to satiate and compensate for the fact that you are an urchin unable to afford what peers your age see as nothing. |
Lamanii22:All I'm saying is there's been no new innovation from iPhone as of late. The iPhone 12 wasn't completely different from the 11 save for the a14 chipset and 5g. The 13 too, save for the smaller notch, and higher screen refresh rate. IPhone has always been a premium brand and I respect the fact that they produce solid devices but it's high time they come up with something different. Come on this is 2021 and we are just seeing features that Android started enjoying since 2018 or so. |
OgatheTop:And you're being stupid |
TheN1:Ma gee, you get the point. And that's what I meant when I said apple died when Steve jobs died, but one apple Buffon fanboy quickly quoted me with "careless talk" . same old design, same camera setup, asides a new chipset and refresh rate. Refresh rate that even transion puts on low end devices this days. |
OgatheTop:In your bid to sound like a savage, you ended up making a complete and utter fool of yourself. Learn to comprehend and ask questions where necessary. If you've been following apple since the passing away of Steve jobs, you would note that nothing new or worthy of being termed an innovation has been made. No new feature, tech. Rather while the world moves on, they chose to stick to outdated designs just so as not to seem as copying android. Refresh rates that has being a feature on even low end and midrange phones, is what apple just introduced, and it's still limited to the pro series. But please do well to tell me what new feature is on the iPhone 13 series that may be considered new or groundbreaking ![]() That's what I mean by apple died when Steve jobs died |
Apple died when Steve jobs died |
Their marketers would soon jump on this thread to tell you how its a 'flagship' phone deserving of the price. Tecno marketers(all transion) deserve some taliban treatment |
sunshineV:Make una day camdan. Una go just day give marketers of one brand like dat high bp. violence everywhere |
They all refer to one thing- someone duly called to practice in a particular jurisdiction(country). However in certain countries, a lawyer may be a barrister or a solicitor. A barrister is licensed to appear before a court as an advocate for a party while a solicitor offers legal services but does not appear before a court. In nigeria both are fused, so a lawyer is both a barrister and a solictor. However do note that merely graduating from the university doesn't make you a lawyer. To be a lawyer you must have graduated from the law school and have your name enrolled in the supreme court register(see Legal Practitioners act for more clarity) |
