please elaborate, is that going to be carried out by votes? if so, how many votes will determine the winner of a battle?
who is allowed to vote? only contestants in the tournament or is everyone allowed? if everyone is allowed, does the person have to be a member of nairaland for a certain period, have a minimum amount of posts on nairaland (reason i ask is because,  i could just create 3 new profiles and keep voting for myself in each battle)

i think u should specify clearly the rules governing that, plus,  don't u think 32 contestants are too many for a tourney with only 1 thread? just my 2 cents

it shouldn't be all about the money, especially if this is ur first job, if i were you, i will consider the growth prospects of each of the jobs. i will also consider which of the 2 jobs looks better on my resume 5 yrs from now, based on my career field. only time i believe money should be a factor in this kind of situation is if either of the jobs cannot take care of my daily expenses, then money can be the clear decisive factor. anyways, good luck , congrats

Controversial comedian, Babatunde Omidina a.k.a. Baba Suwe, has refuted the news making the rounds that he is currently serving a jail term in London on an alleged drug related offences.

In a chat with us, the ace comedian said that his being off the scene for sometime now is not connected with the alleged arrest while working as a courier for a popular suspected drug baron who he often eulogises in his films.

The award-winning actor said he had been in the country all the while, going to film locations and currently working on a new film, which he produced.

“I have never been jailed in my life or handcuffed apart from my expensive wristwatches.

“Any way, I have developed a thick-skin about some of the reports or rumours I read and hear about myself. Some day, I know I shall be vindicated and let off the hook of blatant liars and rumour mongers,” he said, adding that he is still very active in movies “except that we are trying to give room for the upcoming ones to also gain prominence since they now see most of us as role models.”

He also disclosed that he is taking time to tutor his proteges and as well package a new project which is still in the offing.

you're right, thats why i said, I personally felt he was overrated, i'm sure he had a lot of fans, but I just felt his music was overrated, he was more like a ladies man/sex symbol type of guy as far as i was concerned, cus u know i don't even see people requesting for some of his old classics like, the mandators, alex zitto, daniel wilson and co, if u get what i mean

funny enough i always thought he was overrated back then, i just heard so much noise about him but didnt even know one of his songs as being memorable, i just remember someone on tv tryna dance and look like MJ , but i aint mad atch ya Alex O, u got ur hustle on then, the new song is pretty nice as well, funny enough,, i'm anticipating his album.

una wayo ppl, that site does not work, u guys shud TEST ur site first before putting it out to the general public, its ridiculous how many defects i came across on that site, i couldnt get anything done, couldnt listen to the music, couldnt buy, i put one song on the cart, and when i view my cart, i see 3 songs, thats straight up stupid, i can understand a few defects but if u have issues with the main goal of the site, then it should NOT launch, simple and plain
