Not while Okonjo is still there will he ever privatise healthcare (Didnt they teach most of you in economics that healthcare is a PUBLIC GOODS) when even under Government control people can hardly afford it what will be the case under Private hands?.. bearing in mind that it is not only expensive to run, the private bodies will be out to make PROFIT!!....ITS AS SIMPLE AS ABC IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT GO AND DIE

kendrick93: u are a big fool if u tink that little stunt wasn't staged.. buhari is boko haran no 1 man....keep on being stupid tho
Will not drag words with you I am bigger than you intellectually. I don't base my own judgments on sentiments or opinion of others or bias against a particular set of people. Listen to your petty self "Buhari is BH's number one man" and our righteous GEJ honored him during the centenary awards and them same GEJ still allows him to raom freely killing people needlessly. Like I said we are not on the same intellectual level..
PoliticsRe: So, General Buhari Tried To Kill Himself? by youngmonie: 3:56pm On Jul 28, 2014
ndcide: This write up shows a half intelligent man who is uninformed or chooses to be ignorant. how old is he?
nonsense.
this kind of person can even say there is nothing political in bokoharam.
remove politics from bokoharam and it will be over in 7 days.
You have spoken like a reasonable person. Now you say BH has a political mix to it..fine we would not dispute that. For over two years now how many times have we heard PDP tell us that APC (Which only came into existent last year) is behind BHhuh?.....How many nigerians have died within that time and now?....why havent they arrested this so called APC people behind BH?

Of recent Mr Fani kayode was rambling on about APC sponsoring BH and even claimed the founder (Former gov shettima) was the founder of BH (Shettima as we know at that time was in APC, he is now a PDP member, what have we heard from FFK)..why is he not pushing his party to do something or arrest this APC members that are sponsors of BH.

We really need to start asking this government important questions rather than just following or taking in everything they tell us (What we want to hear)

PoliticsRe: So, General Buhari Tried To Kill Himself? by youngmonie: 3:07pm On Jul 28, 2014
bushdoc9919: Before I make my comment....a disclaimer.
I am not here to argue for a Buhari Presidency, a Northern presidency,or a PDP continuation...nor am I here to insult anyone's tribe or religion.
The truth of the matter is that those who argue that Buhari is behind the bombs....including the attack on his convoy....are doing so because they do not want a Northerner in power. Some do it because of bitterness against percieved injustices by the North over the years...and yes, they have happened....see the recent 2011 violence...and so far no one has been brought to justice. But the real argument is for a continued enjoyment of Southern power.
And those who argue that the govt is culpable do so out of bitterness that the North has gotten a raw deal from the govt. That they are not feeling the govt, that they are being discriminated and losing their rights. And so on.
The truth of the matter is that both conspiracy theorists are WRONG. Yes,a lot of bombs have gone off....but despite the brutal attacks on chrurches....there have been brutal attacks on public places....and Muslims as well as Christians have died. And suffered. (Keep in mind that the CHibok girls were not the only girls kidnapped up north....hundreds of other girls have been taken by Boko...and most of em are Muslim). It must be noted that attacks on churches have been prevented....in Imo, for example.
So, Boko is making everyone suffer. Yet, because of our idea that leadership is about sharing money at the top....not about using your available resources to achieve development.....we make every disadvantage a means of tribal argument. Thus the ridiculous theories flying around.....that Buhari is responsible for the attack on himself (an attack which might have left him dead...if not from the bullets from the shock)...or that GEJ is responsible for the attack.(which he isn't....GEJ is not so foolish as to orchestrate an attack that would lead to more instability and destruction on a wide scale).
In my opinion, I am thankful that we are going through the fire...because as any goldsmith will tell you...fire is good for purging out the impurities. You see....Boko is showing Nigerians for who we are.We are a heartless, morally bankrupt people. Or tell me which kind of people would accuse....without proof....their president of orchestrating violence to keep himself in power. Or which kind of people would accuse an opposition leader....one who in a past career fought against Islamist milltants...and had to cope with them as head of State...of orchestrating violence that has killed hundreds of his core support. And the annoying thing is that both allegations are made without proof. Indeed I am scared to be a Nigerian....because someone can accuse me now of evil and millions will believe it. What kind of people are we? That we easily believe lies?
What we need to do now is unite against Boko(short term). But long term, we need to change our ideas about development. We need to stop thinking that development is all about how much oil money we get....(hey,let'sbe honest....all this argument is about who gets to share oil money at Aso Rock) and from the state level start using what we have to make products that we can market for income. One reason why I am opposed to resource control....even though it would benefit me....is because Nigerians are arguing for resource control based on the idea that more money to share amongst ourselves= development. And that money would be used not for development...but to import and import stuff we would pose with....rather than invest in science, technology and industrial innovation to produce more permanent jobs...and to make education more attractive....even for the most fanatical. Yes, we are using Boko to argue for more oil money....even threatening secession so that we can enjoy the oil money....or unity so that we never lose sight of oil money to share. Infact, Nigerians are so backward that we really do not deserve the oil money. Infact,if I was president...I would cut each and every state allowances by 50% and use the money to guarantee free education, power and health....and transport infrastructure...and leave the states to use their resources to develop.
So Nigerians....stop lying against Buhari, PDP, Chibok, etc. This crisis isn't about your right to more oilmoney....or whether you feel cheated. Let us untie toghether....and develop not only a strong security infrastructure....but a strong industrial structure...so that we can have jobs and an end to the environment that fosters Boko Haram. And lets stop lying. Yes you may not like Buhari or PDP....but that isno excuse to lie against them. We have a serious problem....and there is no time for petty tribalism-driven internet wars.
P.S....If you have been reading...and want to respond...feel free....but any insults would be reported to the mods. I am sorry....but I do not appreciate people using the languages of the fo./.wl species.
Now this is someone that can sit own, think, comprehend and look at the bigger picture at large. No sentiments or bigotry but pure analysis of what is going on in this country. RESPECT!!
PoliticsRe: So, General Buhari Tried To Kill Himself? by youngmonie: 2:45pm On Jul 28, 2014
And we wonder if there is hope for this country if the so called future generation still allow sentiment and bigotry cloud their sense of judgement. Read so many stupid comments here and its all the same thin in the political section. People not been able to sit down and ask themselves the important questions, think outside the box or see the bigger picture on issues. How on earth would buhari decide to blow himself up all in the name of getting public sympathyhuh? or plan the attack on himself all in the name of gaining public sympathy. Really cnt believe people still think this way its highly frustrating and im sure most people on this forum are either graduates or presently at university. If asari cn think that way I dnt blame him he is a drop out but nigerian students that cannot think but let their sentiments do the judgement for them....kai God help all of you
PoliticsRe: Should Buhari Be Arrested? by youngmonie: 5:58pm On Jul 27, 2014
God in heaven, where did they get this poster from. To show how stupid and gullible you are. If the useless man in asorock that you blindly support knows that APC and buhari like you stupidly claim are behind bh why haven't they arrested them yet? They have been shouting buhari for like 2 years now and how many thousands of Nigerians have died?...how many more have to die before the arrest him (If he is truly behind BH)

Simple questions that your empty mind and head cannot comprehend, buhari this buhari that. Sit your pathtic self down and ask the important question rather than ranting before thinking...

hahahaha Mr Femi you better go and ask Buhari wht happened to him when he batered oil for good and machinery from various countries in the world and refused to borrow from the IMF. (They removed him from office). OPEC would even try and block it as they would see it as flooding the market .Though a good idea the world powers would block this move they would rather we borrow the 1billion and pay interest rates fo years to come

idumuose: Buhari knows if doesn't win 2015 election, then he can never contest election again because age will no longer be on his side.
Therefore it is very possible that Buhari will employ all the tricks in his arsenal to win public sympathy including hiring some touts to pull those stunts in Kaduna.
If he could hire criminals wearing the garb of Mossad to Kidnap Dikko then what stops him from hiring some hoodlums to bomb his convoy.
I WEEP FOR THIS COUNTRY AND IDIOTS LIKE THIS WOULD ONE DAY WANT TO CONTEST POLITICAL OFFICE. NOT SUPRISED ANYWAY YOU ARE A PRODUCT OF THE NIGERIAN SYSTEM CANT THINK LOGICALLY, CENTIMENTAL AND EMOTIONAL

Good job on the governor, this is real economic development that we want in Nigeria. Imagine if this is done in every local government in the state. The spiral effect it will have on JOBS, they will employ bricklayers, architects, surveyors, electricians, plumbers, welders, engineers, painters, local business too will benefit, those that sell block, cement, iron , wood, windows, roofing sheets, nails, doors, kitchen units, the economic benefits are just enormous.

That is wht infrastructural development is very key to economic growth, something the governor has not relented in doing in lagos, same with akpabio they understand the effect it has

so many people would benefit economically

I swear some of you stupid nigerians lack common sense to be honest. How will a house in the name of politics impeach a democratically elected governor all because they want to fuffil their party's ambition or one mans ambition?...and you feel this is right because you dnt like APC?.... and you call that a democracy, impeaching all opposition governors and then putting unelected PDP members as Governors?..... YOU lack this common sense or would I say you are just ignorant.
PoliticsRe: OPINION: GEJ Is The Best President Nigeria Ever Had by youngmonie: 4:44pm On Jul 18, 2014
I beg to disagree....as far as im concerned GEJ has not done anything NEW in this country. Theres was a time when all this things were in place, someone definately put them there. It is just our generation say those born between 1980 and early 90's that felt the brunch of bad military regimes that took this nation backward. SO GEJ is definitely not the best and would not be, lets get a priorities straight, fine he is doing good in MAKING THINGSS WORK, e,g agricultural industry (Which was at one time the jewels of the nigerian economy), Power (There was a time when we never had so much generators in this country), Economy (There was a time when Nigerias economy was better than that of malaysia and most Asian economies and even South Africa). Education ( I do not need to explain myself, everyone knows how bad the system has gone from Glory to Zero)

So lets not say GEJ is the best, this country has had flourishing times which our generation has not been privileged to enjoy hence we feel GEJ is the best thing to happen to the country #JUSTMYOPINION
PoliticsRe: Ijaw Youths: We’re Ready For Dissolution by youngmonie: 11:42am On Jul 18, 2014
You see only Yorubas have the solution to this problem which is Regionalism which is what they are fighting for. Today Arewa wants to leave, tomorrow my goons in the SE would shout they want BIAFRA, but lets be truthful to ourselves we all know Nigeria is not going to break up, there is too much at stake and a few greedy people who have deep vested interest wont let it happen. So therefore wht is the solution...REGIONALISM. that way everybody is a winner but still under the name of NIGERIA...its simple as ABC
