NB: no document was asked. Interview was lasted for app. 1-minute.

Then the good news: "I'll be approving your visa. Pick it up at the location circled on this form"

That "going deaf" part Na true ooo.. I no even hear wetin the guy dy talk again. I just waka comot jejely

Visa approved this morning (6.30am batch) at the Lagos embassy.

Happy new month,my F1 visa was approved today by the lady in window 6,its still like film trick cos even when she was through with the questions,I was like is that all (for my mind oh) transcript loading. Also wanted to say thanks to all my Nl padis I don't want to mention names cos I might forget to mention some and I don't want to offend anyone. So thanks a million times.

well, in your case I think you only need letter of sponsorship and consent from your mom. you ll need to write this by your self. the bank does not issue letter of sponsorship or consent. the bank only issues letter of reference. if your mom is working get her payslip and be sure its the same account she is using as her salary account. if you are working too get all required documents too. if u are not working u dont need to show yours. I have similar issue about the joint account issue...my mom and I are signatories to this account. How can one compose or get the letter of consent of sponsor, and what makes it authentic? Or is it the bank that issues it? Please don't mind my naivety lol

Very true. My school demanded 9k before issuing my I-20.

I'm new on nairaland. I wired my tuition deposit and today makes it 2 weeks that I've been debited. Please how long does a transfer take to get to the destination? The school hasn't confirmed the deposit also.

Is the exchange rate still going to be 197-200 CBN rate or would it go higher?
