Seun: Data centers don't have to be in Nigeria except for sensitive businesses like banking. It makes a lot of sense to use data centers in countries where electricity is very cheap for most web-based businesses. The cost of hosting is insignificant compared to what you can make online. If you know how much I spend on fuel daily you would have commento your reservo. All the same, I know that someday we will get it right. #Change |

femi4: You must be from the moon.......you mean laptop doesn't require much power? He won't understand because He can afford 50 litres of petrol for a day. He doesn't mind if there is light or not. When I have less than 24 hours light for the whole week.. I buy fuel at the rate of 100 NGN per litre. |

Seun: The software development aspect of ICT actually doesn't require much power. How much power does a laptop require? How many data centers do we have in Nigeria? Do you know that I hardly see 24 hours of light for a week? Yes, less than 24 hours for the whole week somewhere in Calabar. |

Una dey joke. How can ICT survive without power. On this Government
Fund the tech departments of universities somewhat better. Yes this is very important. That is to say, they will have to sack all this pascal and outdated programming language lecturers and employ those that knows the world trending programming language. Check Nigerian university curriculum and see for yourself. It seems guys are wasting their 4 years studying rubbish. I commento ma reservo. |

Politics › (A MUST READ) For All Nigerians by Youngzedd(op): 9:29am On Mar 19, 2015 |
This was posted on Facebook by someone on FFK Facebook page and I begin to wonder the kind of incompetent ones we have as leaders. Actually, I see a lot of meaning in it. No edit. An unrepentant PDP Elder asked me if I have watched the documentary, I asked which one, he said the documentary showing how Tinubu owes 75% of Lagos revenue, that Tinubu is highly corrupt. And I asked him, Daddy, does Tinubu have immunity, he said NO. Is Tinubu a spirit? he said NO. Is Tinubu in Nigeria, he said yes. Has Tinubu been invited by EFCC? he said NO. I shook my head, and told him, Sir, I pray never to be like you when I grow up. He became sad and walked away. Instead of a sane government to prosecute an alleged corrupt man, they are busy running wasteful documentary with tax payers money. What a shame? |
