Yes, HMO Premiums can be claimed for tax rebate. I haven't done it but a staff of FIRS told my ex-boss it can be done some time ago. |
Tklassy:From Iyanapaja, take a bus to Oshodi. When you alight at Oshodi, cross to the other side across the railway line and take bike or Keke to Coker Road from there. |
Profandie:It depends on which department you are applying to. Though I doubt if PhD candidates write aptitude tests. It will mostly depend on your credentials. |
Ohteakings:Accommodation is exclusive of the price on the portal and the procedure has been stated in this thread try to look through thread 118 or so. I think maximum duration for PGD is three semesters and minimum is two semesters, I stand to be corrected. |
Hollarbeece:Disregard the information at the back of the card. You can load as many cards as necessary to complete your school fees. |
papyskinsy:You can't register for courses until you've completed your payment. The link for course registration becomes active after you make full payment. |
papyskinsy:It is not that simple in reality. After applying and submitting your form at the porters lodge, you will still have to apply a second time. This will be some weeks after you submitted your statement of account and application form, the exact date will be pasted in the PG hall. The allocation of bedspaces will then be on a first come, first served basis, based on how soon you apply on e-portal. |
darekunmi:You have to load access card first before you the pay school fees link. If you have loaded access card and the pay school fees link is still not active, you can just give it some time. |
bjaybalo:You can buy and load excess school fees card, but you can't pay for a session at once. The balance will be left in your account. More so, you may not know the school fees for next semester except you ask someone in your department. |
Payment of acceptance and school fees is by purchase of scratch cards and not bank teller. You may just have to keep checking netque.oauife.edu.ng regularly so as to know when registration commences. |
Hi avicky, think you've gotten these guys a bit confused about dealine for payment. The admission letter usually comes with a one month window for payment of acceptance fee which of course is almost impossible considering the fact that portal for registration is not always opened at the time the admission letters are sent. For example I got my admission letter in April and the one month acceptance fee deadline was stated there. However Netque did not open for registration till August so the one month deadline was not effective. The deal about getting accommodation at PG hall really is that you have to know when Netque opens for semester registration and to pay both acceptance and school fees early enough before application for accommodation begins. This is usually between 3 weeks to a month after Netque portal opens for registration. |
@ Legendre, your school is supposed to give you a students copy of your transcript also. That is the one you can make a photocopy of and send to your department. |
@Legendre, I think the norm is that your school gives you a student copy alongside the original copy of your transcript. So you make a copy of your student copy to submit to the department you applied to, while your school sends the original transcript to OAU PG college. |
@Jamieb: The only part-time Masters I know OAU runs is Executive MBA and yes the registration for that just started. Probably your friend specialised in the Finance aspect of MBA but banking and finance on its own I do not think we have that. You can always confirm from your friend. |
moreyemi:@Moreyemi, every fee you need to pay will be via the netque website when registration starts which I do not think has started. Is your program supposed to start in the rain or harmattan semester? If harmattan then chill, it's still going to be a while before registration starts. The Dec 17 date you saw is for undergraduate students not PG. Like I said check netque.oauife.edu.ng regularly for registration info. |
@okpakoalex, check netque.oauife.edu.ng, there's a link there that lists the fees per session. |
@Vingoze, you can only apply for MBA programme as stated on the site, it is after you have been admitted, prob in second semester or so before you can specialise in either marketing or HR or whatever. Not too sure though but I'm sure you can't get MBA marketing directly. |
@mightyjoe and lummylummy, if the email addresses you supplied are not for banks i.e if its not an official email for someone that works in a bank then there should not be a problem. Just wait a while, the mails will be sent to your referees. |
