Ibehchizzy:The Ottoman Empire began with the Turkic people leaving their original homeland in Central Asia around those countries like Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc and passing through the Caucasus mountains to the territory formally called Anatolia. They drove off the Greeks that occupied that land in a series of warfare with a combined army of Muslims from other nations around the Middle East. The Greeks themselves have conquered that land from others during the time of Alexander The Great. The Turks defeated the Byzantine empire which ruled over Asia Minor which was the Eastern part of the Roman Empire and forced Islam on them. They pressed further into Europe and conquered many European countries including parts of Greece proper. They went further and almost took the capital of Austria before they were stopped by the combined forces of other powerful European countries. The Ottoman Empire was fond of taking European children and bring them into Turkey to train them into soldiers. Thus, today Turkey has a lot of mixed people both from Central Asia, Middle East and Central and Eastern Europeans. The powers that defeated the Ottoman Empire ensured Turkey was cut away from other Muslim countries so they can monitor them easily. |
Hisroyalbadmeat:The South East is not afraid of the South South. This statement only comes from the enemies of both regions. The SE considers the SS their brothers because about 9 million of our Igbo people were carved into the region and occupy the biggest part of the SS. Besides, we have historical ties with most ethnic groups in the SS from intermarriages to shared communities. However, if the other ethnic groups in the SS aren't comfortable going with us to form one country, they can form theirs without including our people carved into the SS. This is our argument. Those who carved the boundaries between the SE and SS were not from both regions. They did it for their own selfish reasons meant to create divisions among us for easier exploitation which they very well achieved. We don't have to keep that boundary when seeking a peaceful and productive future for our collective people. All non-Igbo groups can join together and form one country if they aren't comfortable with forming one country with Ndigbo. This is a fair submission. |
Peterobiisathie:Nicely said. It's been documented. Don't complain tomorrow. |
If this doesn't teach other 'one Nigeria' Igbos a lesson, nothing else will teach them. From Landmark resort to Peter Obi's brother's property. Let non-Yorubas take note that no due process was followed in this demolition. This is for record purposes because of tomorrow. No one should complain. |
Exousiang01:A region with a population of over 25million residents having just one single hospital for government sponsored dialysis is wicked. You Yorubas can justify it all you want but we won't forget. We will remind you guys in due time. |
Itaekuson3:One Nigeria... this is what you get when your army is a relic of the British conquering army that seize your people's freedom in the late 1800s. That army is what struck in June 1966. They remain still today to do the bidding of Fulanis and their British allies. When you check BBCs most recent report on the killings going on in Nigeria, they still report it as Farmers/Herders clash even when everyone knows its a land grab agenda unfolding. One Nigeria is a cover for genocide and cleansing indigenous people of their ancestral lands. |
neyop85:In an average setting, you are right but this isn't an average setting. Iran which shares no border with Israel has threatened the Jewish state with extermination. It's only a fool that will see and hear a man threaten him with death and he won't plan to either kill that person first or at least reduce him to the position of being incapable of harming him. The Iranian Islamic government goofed big time. As much as Pakistan hates India, they can't risk nuking India but those fanatics in Iran will risk it all just to harm Israel if they ever get the nuclear capability they so much seek. Israel is justified to do all they can to deny Iran ever getting nuclear weapons. No one is a fool you know. If Iran for instance succeeds in getting nuclear and throw caution to the winds in an attempt to destroy Israel, the whole Middle East will be polluted with nuclear pollution because the whole Iran will be nuked killing off tens of millions of innocent Persians and the nuclear fallout will get to nearby countries like Afghanistan, Kuwait, Oman etc. This is a risk no reasonable human will ever want to see. Therefore, the best situation is to prevent Iran getting a nuclear bomb for the safety of the entire Middle East. |
Can you show us picture of Ado Ekiti? Ade Musiwa |
We dey wait to see the fulani militias arrested but we know nothing like that will happen. |
Abandoned Property Law was also against secessionists and not Igbos. Asaba, Isheagu and lots of other whole scale massacre of Igbo villagers waving the Nigerian flag by the Nigerian soldiers was against secessionists with arms and not against Igbos. Can Gowon tell us about his three (3) Rs... Reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation? What did he reconstruct in the East Central State from February 1970 to 1975 when he was kicked out of power? Anyway, Ndigbo who are feeling the love of Gowon and his team can tell what kind of love it is. Some men who lost all their money's and properties due to Awolowo's 20pounds policy and abandoned property law are still alive. I'm sure they'll agree with Gowon. Gowon should try and convince his people in Plateau and Benue states that the Fulanis killing them are doing it out of love and not hatred. We aren't fools you know. |
This is the most useless SGF ever in the history of Nigeria. See how his people are being slaughtered without him being able to do anything. |
When I write that Nigeria is a terrorist contraption, many thought I didn't know what I was writing about. When I say to Nigerians that they don't have a country, some dismiss it as though I'm incoherent. Alright, here we are now. Blood is flowing like water and hundreds of thousands of lives will be further slaughtered. NO ONE WILL SPEAK FOR THE VICTIMS. Yakubu Gowon will be silent. His voice is only for one specific people. T.Y Danjuma have spoken and was very explicit. The Nigerian army is in collusion with the terrorists killing off indigenous people in order to supplant them. All the major news outlets are silent on the genocide happening in Nigeria. Can someone tell me how the survivors and their relatives will be asked to move on as though nothing happened? The same 'move on' is what has been asked of those who lost over 30,000 of their people in senseless murder that happened in 1966/67. The Nigerian government under Yakubu Gowon couldn't guarantee their safety and protection in the same way Bola Tinubu today can't guarantee the safety of the fulani victims today. This is the hallmark of Nigeria. Since you love Nigeria, be ready to be slaughtered violently just so Nigeria continues to be 'One'. |
Some people Fulani terrorists will kill next month are today wishing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be sent to jail. This is the reality of Nigeria. Prejudice and hate can be so strong to blind humans to the truth. RIP in advance to the next victims of the Fulani terrorists. Let your One Nigeria save you. |
Orji Uzor Kalu is responsible for this attack. It was him who brought Fulani terrorist to Lokpanta. Today, the people surrounding that area are no longer sleeping in peace. We'll wait to hear what he will say in this attack specifically. Thereafter, we will respond. Woe betide you if you're silent now but open your mouth when we respond. |
Watch how all those accusing unarmed freedom seekers from Eastern Nigeria as terrorists keep quiet or avoid this thread completely. What the Fulanis are doing today is what they've done ever since they entered Nigeria in the 1700s. From 1804, the rest indigenous people of Nigeria started losing their ancestral lands to Fulani. From Sokoto (Gobir), Kano, Bida town, Bauchi town, Gombe town, Yola (Adamawa), Jalingo, Lafia (Nasarawa state) to Ilorin(Kwara), the story is the same. If you know the history of Fulani devastation in Nigeria like I do, you'll hate Nigeria more than I do. I have one question for anyone who knows. How did Nasarawa state get its name? It was through terrorism. Lafia and Keffi were both slave camps operated by Fulanis and Kanuris. Nasarawa means the victorious ones because they were successful in raiding, killing and selling off the original inhabitants of that place. The story is the same in most of the other towns I listed before. We may excuse those ones because it happened in the days of ignorance but not this one happening right before our eyes in this generation. This is unforgivable. |
This is what those terrorists killing our farmers and villagers should be facing but no way. Black people are so daft not to know their real enemies. |
DomPerignon:Provide proofs for all your claims. If you can't do so, all you wrote are just conjectures. I can back up all my claims. Anyone that continues to believe the lies of you Yorubas will live to suffer the consequences of being misled.

DomPerignon:'Why' in this case is a subjective question because I'm not Ironsi and he didn't give any reason for doing so to the best of my knowledge. Here's what I can make out to be the likely reasons for choosing Ojukwu ahead of Wellington or any other Eastern officer senior to Ojukwu. There were about four seniors to Ojukwu at the time including Igbo officers Imo and Njoku. Ojukwu was in Kano as the commander of the 5th battalion. He helped foiled the coup in January 15th by arresting all those associated with it and pledging his support to Ironsi. That was a very daring thing to do. I believe this was what made Ironsi consider him as a capable hand to manage the Eastern Region. Ojukwu was a Lt. Col at this time. Ojukwu being an Oxford graduate might have helped too. If there were other things Ironsi considered, I don't know for now. Wellington was promoted by Ironsi at the same time to a Brigadier to command a more larger Brigade at Kaduna. He obviously was an old man at this time in his late 50s and the period demanded a lot of energetic person. Such general information is online for anyone who sincerely cares to know. One keynote is that Wellington is always missing in all the pictures of commissioned officers of that generation. I'm yet to see a single picture of him with Ironsi, Ademulegun etc. |
kettykin:Clearly, you're not up to date. The ministry of Agriculture has asked Tinubu to sponsor a gathering for prayers for food security. That's their only plan to survive from the impending hunger coming. We all know Fulanis don't till the ground. Most Nigerians will either feed on beef alone supplied by Fulanis or till the few lands left outside Fulani control. Already, most regions have been plundered by Fulani kidnappers who demand for 50million from people who don't even have 5million. It is well planned for weaken any resistance that will want to come up later. Brace up for starvation in 2027. |
Streetinvestor2:Tinubu has sacrificed them long ago but they don't know including Alia their governor. I wish I was wrong but I know I'm not. Both the COAS and Tinubu has sold Benue people wholesale for slaughter. Watch how more Benue communities will be exterminated between now and December. They have a choice if they want to live. Nigeria can't protect them. |
SmartPolician:They have a choice not to join the Fulanis to remain in Nigeria if Nigeria divides today. Their land has no single Fulani settlement in history. Benue has no single traditional fulani camp in history. I hope you understand this last statement. They have no chance in Nigeria because Igbos will not speak up for anyone again. We lost millions the last time we tried to do something for everyone. |
DomPerignon:Ironsi and Wellington were always on the same rank from when they were both commissioned in 1949. Ironsi got more postings and eventually overtook him in rank in the 60s still under the British Army. Both Ironsi and Ademulegun overtook Wellington in 1963 to become Brigadiers while he remained a Lt.Col. Ironsi later became a Major General after returning from a UN mission in Congo and was thus, the most senior military officer of the Nigerian army. Although, the outgoing British GOC of the Nigerian Army preferred Zakariya Maimalari to succeed him, he knew that wasn't possible because he was a far junior to Ironsi. Hence, Ironsi was chosen with the blessing of other politicians also from Northern Nigeria. Like you know already, I always have proofs to back up all my claims. The point is that at 1965, Ironsi was already senior to Wellington. It was Ironsi as a Major General who promoted Wellington as a Brigadier to head the 2nd Division at Kaduna in 1966 after Ademulegun was assassinated. How then was Wellington his senior as at the time the British left Nigerian army in 1965? Remember to show your proofs if you want to counter this post. |
Birds extraordinaire on the beat. If you follow them, you'll be misled. Benue people are dying today in large numbers and one of them in power is doing nothing. Tomorrow they'll twist it and accuse Igbos for being responsible for the killings. Today, they're accusing Azikiwe for jailing Awolowo and forcing Akintola on the West. No single mention of the NPC who were working directly with Akintola and had the political power to run Nigeria at the time. How easy and so convenient it is for them to lie against Igbos at every point in history needs to be studied. There's no single fault they've pointed towards Ahmadu Bello or Balewa... it's all Zik, Ironsi and Ojukwu's fault. Fast forward to 1970, Ironsi is dead... killed, Ojukwu in exile and Zik- out of political power, yet Nigeria slided more into poverty. Igbos have ever since been out of power or political influence in Nigeria but when discussing how low Nigeria has fallen, these same mongrels will tell you it is the fault of Igbos. Every reader should judge for themselves I have proofs to counter all the lies in this thread but I'll wait for now and watch them dish out more lies first. No need to rush. Meanwhile, Yorubas are silent as genocide is being carried out against Middlebelt Christians. Igbos won't stick out their heads for anyone again. We have learnt from history. Yesterday, 130 Tivs were killed gruesomely by Fulani terrorists but no one is talking. Even the all sainty Gowon is silent. He has lost his voice. The killers are well known and named yet everyone is quiet. Igbos won't speak out for anyone again. Let the Nigeria they all love speak for them. |
In Unity we stand. It doesn't matter if your people are being wiped out, Nigeria must be kept together. This is all that matters. If in doubt, go ask David Mark and Yakubu Gowon. |
Psoul:You shouldn't call the British 'colonial masters'. Are they still your master? Were they even your master during the colonial days? Did you invite them to come become your master? They are simply 'colonialists' or 'colonial power'. The same way you shouldn't call Frederick Lugard a 'lord'. He's not your lord nor is he deserving of that title. Our education should reflect in our understanding of issues and how we should relay it to others. |
That's One Nigeria for you. As many thar support this demonic contraption, don't worry because it will get to your turn. It must get to your villages and families. |
