Where did you get that data from. Oyo state has everything more than double IMO state. So how can the GDP be higher?. Oyo has second highest number of hotels after Lagos for instance. IMO has around 500 hotels and Oyo has over 1000
A simple online search would have cleared your doubt. Imo state has double the GDP of Oyo state. Anambra's GDP is also bigger than that of Oyo state.

What type of phone are you using? I can't see jack of what you uploaded here.
The title says Igala colonization of 'northern Igbo states in 1450-18th century' but you claimed Igala colonized Igboland in 1945. Are both the same thing? No, they're not. Did Igala invade parts of Igboland? Yes, they did. They did try to institute a system there? Yes, they tried. Did they succeed after a long period of time 1450-1700s? No, they didn't. How large was the area they invaded? Very small part which is actually parts of Nsukka in present day Enugu state? By the late 1700s, all their institutions had collapsed and their people assimilated by a superior culture and tradition. In the Delta and Anambra areas, they were easily assimilated leaving no single trace because they lost many battles.
A European Explorer called Joseph Hawkins wrote about the Igbo/Igala war in the late 1700s in which the Igala lost. What then are you yapping about?
You know nothing about Igbo history and only driven by hate to push a false narrative. Nsukka is not Ilorin and Kwara where your conquerors banned the Yoruba festival called Isese from being celebrated. Everything in Nsukka right from the 19th century is Igbo till date. Choke on it.

When Fulanis,Nupe migrated to Ilorin, they inter -married with the Yorubas,so there is bound to be Yoruba Fulani and Yoruba Nupe bloodline too.

When Igala colonised Igboland in 1945,there were inter marriages between the Igalas and Igbos. There is no pure Igbos especially in Anambra,Onitsha to be precise.
One of the Chiefs of the Armed forces is an Igboman of the Igala stock.
😂 😂 😂 😂 Igala colonized Igboland? In 1945? Even in Kogi state, there are still many Igbo communities till date. Rather, many Igalas assimilated into Igbo communities and are today Igbos. Where then is the colonization? Where's their culture in the areas you claimed they colonized if they were actually colonizers? Yeriba hatred will never allow your mind to think things through before writing them.
I challenge you to mention just one Onitsha indigene that says he's a mixed blood.

This isn't the first. Biafra was the first ever genocidal war shown on TV screen where children, women and men were dying of starvation on a very large scale. The horrific scenes from Biafra led to the creation of 'Doctors Without Borders.' All the perpetrators of the Biafran genocide are considered heroes of Nigeria. Little wonder Nigeria has remain a killing field ever since then.

The authorities that suspended the pilots were absolutely right... she was very unprofessional and went against protocol.... u don't move the plane when there are people on ground , according to air control guidelines.... its the work of the security to have arrested him and dragged him out of the tarmac if he refused to leave ..... what the pilot did will also earn her a suspension and withdrawal of her licence.... she had no right to move that plane ... any well-trained pilot know this rule ... imagine if she crushed him with those ground crew / officials ... do u think the public will still be talking about his unruly behaviour?? K1 messed up big time but the pilot now allowed him stain her badly
WITHDRAW the license of an experienced pilot without a bad history because of an unruly man who attempted to hold her airplane hostage? Do you even think things through? It's just like asking that K1 be jailed for 10years because of this incident. That will be too much. Proportionate judgement is what is expected in this case.
For me,
1. The pilot should be queried but not stopped from doing her job. She has the least blame in this case. Remember she was assaulted by him.
2. The tarmac security should be penalized for not bundling him out of the tarmac. Their negligence of clearing him out of the led the pilot to do what she did. The flight has a scheduled time so she was under pressure to fly her passengers on time to their destination.
3. K1 deserves to banned from flying for at least 6 months together with a fine to serve as a detterent to others who might want to attempt it another time.
This is why commissions of enquiry are usually held to understand the entire things that transpired together with their duration to fully understand the circumstance they all were at the time of the saga.

See how some people are trying to push the weight of the fault on pilots that were assaulted by a musician simply because he's popular among them. These are the same people that will waste no time in insulting a whole ethnic group because of the poor behaviour of a single individual among them. This musician is boarding a public airline yet was insisting on getting on board with an undeclared liquid which he proceeded to pour on the pilot and other flight attendants thereby causing chaos and endangering the lives of scores of other passengers. Who doesn't know how passengers complain about delayed flight? One drunk who ought to be arrested and charged for assault, recklessness and holding a scheduled flight hostage is been defended by some of his ethnic minions devoid of common sense.
If he thinks he's above the law, why doesn't he purchase a private jet and load with a cooling room full of his choicest wine and hot drinks? Why coming to a public aircraft to exert stupidity simply because he feels he's connected to influential persons in government? This is the why Nigeria is hopeless without any future.
In working countries, he would have been detained and charged to court for the charges listed above.

Comparing Igbo that has the entire South East and parts of South South with a tribe that has only one state is ridiculous.
In Nigeria, Igbo is 3rd largest, Urhobo is 4th while Ijaw is 5th.
Igbo is NOT the third largest ethnic group. We are one among the three largest ethnic group. There's no sufficient data today to affirm Igbos in third place presently. Historical sources during colonial times CLEARLY listed Igbos as the largest ethnic group in Southern Nigeria. This is a verifiable fact.
However, today there's no repurable source to confirm what position Igbos occupy.

BigDawsNet:
Sounds like no solution to this unity of thing … God help this nation
Nigeria is not a nation just like the UK isn't a nation. Nigeria is a contraption while UK is a united Kingdom of 4 different nations. This is why Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland all send their own contingents for some international events.
I hope you've learnt something today. Nigeria can never be a nation. Even being a united country is impossible because of envy, hate, jealousy and tribalism. The death and destruction you're seeing today is nothing compared to what is coming in the next ten years. Nigeria is a British(England) creation to serve the English purpose. Those managing it for them here are making most of what they can get under that limit. No one cares for those trapped inside the creation. Most are just trying to survive without knowing the huge limitations set before them.
Nigeria is like a game reserve. Though the animals roam free and MOSTLY live by natural selection, runners of the reserve always interfere to keep the reserve in order for it to remain productive for them. We can truly snatch the control entirely from them if we want to be free but the vices earlier listed as so stronger that those who think they are benefitting more prefer to keep the status quo and the colonists control perpetually. The English master stroke worked perfectly in Nigeria.

The way you Yorubas lie, even the devil will be scared of you guys. This happened just 15years ago with all the information online but here you are turning it upside down.
It is on record that the first person of substance to call for the handing over of power to Goodluck Jonathan is an Igbo person. She did so with a very well worded memo presenting her reasons for saying it to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday, the 3rd of February, 2010. The meeting almost turned into a battle ground as those against it rose in anger to silence her.
Here, we see Yorubas today trying to claim what they never started. I CHALLENGE the Yorubas making these blatant lies to show with PROOF the Yoruba man of substance that called for Goodluck Jonathan to be made acting president ON RECORD before 3rd February, 2010.
Other people, make una dey take note of all Yoruba people lies against Igbo people o.

This case must proceed to its logical legal conclusion.
Nothing like prerogative of mercy.
If Kanu is innocent then the court should set him free to go home and sin no more. On the other hand if the court finds him guilty, then the full weight of the law should be brought down on his shoulders and he should face the maximum penalty!
Simple.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu my leader's case is that he called the Fulanis out of their genocidal plans before anyone could see them in action. He spoke against Nigeria's capability in protecting his people(Ndigbo and our Biafran brothers). He made a provision for defending our people from the then impending invasion of the Fulanis. If you counted all the above as sins, then he surely WON'T 'sin no more'. If the court rightly declares him innocent of all the charges brought against him, then he's free indeed to continue to advocate for our people.
Since you Nigerians love to shed the blood of your people frequently, count us out of your Nigeria. This is MNK's argument all along.
FashionRe: Records Back Omokri’s Claim Linking ‘Okpu Agu’ To Colonialists by Yujin(m): 12:30am On Jun 26, 2025
GerogeI:
I think the first thing is to define culture. Its the way a people live and perform specific functions now. If you have been doing some thing for the past 300 years and continue doing so, that's culture. It does not mean that 300 years ago you did not learn to do such a thing from someone else.

Similarly, tradition is a way of doing things that spans from the past.
Reno Omkri, should educate himself on the difference between origination and tradition. That Yorubas spin clothing, does not mean they did not learn weaving from Fulani Arabs, who even gave them the name "Yoru-ba" or "Yari-ba". Infact we all know the Fulanis would have added Yoruba land to their colonies if the Western civilization did not interfare, cause they already sold Islam to them. Next step was to give them an emir and condemn their own Kings, which they already did in Kwara.

Similarly Igbos learnt weaving from the western colonisers and make akawette cloth. And also adopt various clothing from the white man over, centuries ago, making them part of their culture.

Coming on media to compare colonial adaptations of Yorubas from Fulani colonizers and Igbos from Western colonizers seems kind of demented and aimless attentions seeking.
Your argument has some weight however, I must correct something very important in your argument. Ndigbo DID NOT learn weaving from Westerners. A thorough research about the first European weaving style to Nigeria should have taught you so. Igbos have been weaving clothes for a lot of centuries that I can't even put a date to its origin. Akwaete weaving may be the most popular today but our people in both Enugu and Anioma have been weaving 'akwa ocha' for a many centuries. There are books written over 100years ago that documented all these things.
I can provide proofs to all my claims.
The problem of Reno Omokri and his band of lukumi minions is that they think that before they can promote anything Yoruba, they have to de-market Ndigbo in everything. They don't care about facts and how easily things like this can be verified. They just run along with a perceived notion and present it as reality in demarketing Ndigbo. However, when we debunk their obvious lies with facts, their hate, envy and anger return in full force.
You can google about cloth weaving in Igboland before European colonization. Let chatgpt help you so you learn something new today.
