It took 22days after my interview... I used my old school id card as my old bibliographic
Well, u can use any admission letter to open Ur block account and use a different admission letter to book visa appointment. All u just do is go to any branch of the bank irrespective of the location to unblock Ur account wen u get to Germany and u can perform ur transaction from any branch...

Finally picked up my Visa today after so much pressure from my NL family... I say make I go pick it up b4 dem change their mind .I used IGI insurance and It's just #14,500,probably the cheapest out there...It was nice meeting our very own NzeBiddle who also came to pick up his Visa... I think I answered all this question during interview. But this one's coming straight from aliens office. Some question I think is unnecessary


with regards to your visa application, please be informed that the Aliens Authority of your future place of residence would like you to answer some additional questions:



1. During the interview, you stated that you are going to finance the stay in Germany on your own. Please specify how you will come up for the requested financial means.

2. Why would you like to deepen your German language first and then study in English language?

3. What advantages are you going to take for your personal future by studying in Germany?

1) Probably becos u stated during Ur interview dat Ure sponsoring urself so they want to know ow U'll continue to do dat after the one year blocked account is exhausted... Don't really have an answer to dis, others should help out.
2) I also had an offer from unipaderborn but choose not to pursue it. In my case it was stated in my admission letter dat the school offers a compulsory and intensive german language studies... If It's stated in ur admission letter den u can state dat in addition to ur self studies or enrollment for a german class here in Nigeria,U'll also do it as a course in ur 1st semester.
3) I think wat dey want to hear here is how ur studying in germany will help Ur career goals. Be careful here not to say anytin contrary to Ur explanation during Ur interview.

For those dat re yet to have their interview, It's beta u totally avoid dis self sponsor issue so u won't have som explanation to do later...

Guys. They embassy shifted my appointment backward with just a day. It is now 1st of september. The first day of my enrolment is 21 to end 25th september. Please tell me if I you think I am save with the processing period . Also I need to contact some one who has don't his/her interview.

Guy Ure good to go...The embassy has been magnanimous enough o... Since Ur account is funded, Ur visa might even be processed within 2 weeks... Just channel Ur ENERGY ON THREE THINGS FROM NOW...

2. Start preparing for Ur interview NOW
3. Just have it at the back of Ur mind dat immediately after ur interview, U'll have to start packing Ur bags and be ready to get ur health insurance abd move any time u get the visa... The ticket fee will cost u alil more sha...
But follow the order, don't do number 3 b4 1 or 2...

Guys, @rayhut, @victz I am please with your sincere comments. I did not missed my appointment in actual sense. The brother who made the comment that is appointment was on the same day with me which is 30.07.2015. You would recall the incident with a particular guy who did not do his photocopies complete before coming. I am that guy. My case is a matter of ill luck and over anxiety, because in real sense I had the copies I needed. For the other guys here. I thought I was not Having my copies complete only the originals and few copies of my documents. Because of this, when it got to my turn, I have informed the visa Officer that my documents copies where not complete. Her response was, she wouldn't accept my application. I pleaded but she didn't listen. Then I resulted to the security to permit me go out to do the copies. I was allowed out but on returning to the embassy the attendant refused letting be in again. This is just the problem with me and when I called the contact line of the embassy. I was told that I have been banned for three weeks. I need your sincere comment just as before. If there is any advise on what to do please let me know

The problem you have is dat you didn't make plans for your interview at all ... Planning and Preparing for d interview is more than just cramming/jacking som course modules and germany nonsense....Arranging Ur documents and making sure u get to the embassy on time is also a big part of Ur interview. In my own case and I want to believe same for others who has had successful interviews (Eke04seven, obiwann and others), all required documents were arranged and several weeks before the interview and in d worst scenerio 2 weeks b4 interview. All I was doing was putting finishing touches to my arrangements. In fact, every week I cross-checked to make sure everything was in the right order and nothing missing. But the funny thing is dat every week as I check I always have something to correct and printed my application forms more than 10 times correcting the most minor issues(maybe because I have a small printer). A week to my interview, I was checking everyday, I decided to change the passports a week to my interview because of a minor error and to erase my doubts and even went with extra copies of both documents and passports..This are part of ur confidence building process.A day to my interview, I checked three times and even put a call thru to obiwann that had his interview earlier that week to erase all doubts. As from your statements U arranged Ur documents impromptu... I won't be surprised if U sed U arranged Ur documents a nite to Ur interview and they busted u without allowing to download everything Uve crammed ..Well, dats d reward for carelessness but I really wish u alot of God's favor in resolving Ur matter quickly and still meet up with the winter semester...Just believe...
I think Ur case should serve as lesson to all those preparing for their interview this week/month and I think the embassy is trying to make an example/scape-goat with Ur matter so that the news will spread wide and deter other un-serious appointment bookers dat they're damn serious with their time...
