Your post is very funny. I have put my application together and at the verge of submitting but for some reason, I am very nervous most especially seeing the rate of rejections here and there so i can feel your pain.

Been also praying about my application even before submission .

I have learned that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, only to who God show's mercy.

Put together your docs but most importantly back it up with plenty prayers.

I am gathering momentum to submit this week.

I'm actually confused. Considering I lived in UK for more than 6months, would I need to apply for a medical report/ police certificate from there to attach to my application?
For a married person too, is spouse's birth certificate okay as hometie ? My siblings,they don't even trust themselves to be in Nigeria by next week if can.Using them as hometie may be a joke.
Who cares about a joke if it will improve my application anyways

This is the official financial requirement out of Lagos. 3 months of bank statement is the word on the street.

In order to gain an oversea masters program, I have worked for close to 5yrs just to have enof funds.

Now am set to apply for MSc in Canada but realized I have 2.2 in mechanical engineering. Am considering going for BSc at age 31.

Pls what are my chances? I also read some whr about post graduate diploma. Is this a better option?
Will my age no be a deterrence to my quest?

The sooner you can the better!! Latest time to apply is now and is all relative. Some get approved within two days, others up to a year!!
