Locotrader: You dey reason well brother. In a process of recapitalization, acquisitions and mergers are involved but minority shareholders must make it big in the process.
Na win win for shareholders either ways but know ye that Royalex the oldest insurance has been in existence for 100 years and will be fully recapitalized.
Bids will even reach 200m as we dey go Its giving "Queen Eliza" vibes. So it can attract pounds sterling if so?!!🤣🤣🤣 |

If SUNU GROUP can extend the generosity of buying ROYALEX for 10 naira, who am I to complain?
The insurance sector is piss poor!!! From the look of things, only foreign investors(I maybe wrong)can revolutionize that sector.
If we have only 2 insurance coys left on the exchange, so be it. 🤣🤣🤣 |

Benbuffet: As you are enjoying the insurance loot, don't forget to beat them at their game. Jump out before they do. Have you seen your Nigerian banks? Are these the insurance companies that will do damage control? If you're buying its either for capital appreciation or longterm investing. Someone has alreday told you what will happen in that sector with the recapitalization move. Stop the fear mongering, but people should know why they buy too. |

SonofElElyonRet: It was actually a rhetorical question... Such humongous largesse as gift (doesn't qualify as sponsorship in my humble view), shouldn't sit well with shareholders.. Not aware of any publicly quoted company company in saner climes doling out such massive cash gifts.. I stand to be corrected Particularly as the President had already given them a generous dole out. Zenith should've done smaller. Profligacy Manchester United and Audi, what will you call that kind of relationship? |

GeneralDae: Nigeria does over 20,000 MW actually but they are mostly off grid, so only 5000 MW is utilised from the grid (installed capacity 13000 MW). There is an extra off grid 19000 MW generation by other sources however, which the Government must make deliberate effort to integrate. South Africa’s 45000 MW is still not good enough for them because they do a lot of mining. SA 45GW and expanding over 60% utilisation Mor 11GW abd expanding with 100% utilisation Nga 13GW and expanding with less than 30% utilisation |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Zagee: 3:59pm On Aug 05, 2025 |
mikeapollo: I think SA has doing about 45,000 - 50,000MW while Nigeria is struggling with about 5,000-7000MW ...and Morocco achieved 100% access in 2023 and is still planning on improving the pool with an energy mix. People can control their appetite and prepare for the next decade with........ |

Mpeace: Is UAC also Buying UPDC? Even with the not so impressive result, UPDC is still doing well. Now on full bid. On UPDC, it is the "why" we are still trying to find out. This is Oga Emma's territory if I'm not mistaken. Even with the majority shareholders holding up the OS, can they be allowed to sell off without satisfying obligatory listing requirements? yMcy56: SUNU.... * Has one of the smallest OS in the industry, 5.81bn * Foreign investor owns around 90% of the Outstanding Shares * Free float as at March 2025 is 9%, translating to 534Million This one too, same scenario. |

In dollar terms, that 27 trillion naira na moi moi compared to the 10 trillion in 2015. It still does not negate the fact that the best naira investment out-ranked the best dollar-equivalent investment(except for cocoa) *(context 2023 till date) |
