presiade: Thank you! I know deposits from third-party accounts aren’t allowed, what I’m not sure of is if they allow me to send funds from one of my other bank accounts that’s not associated with my trading account with them. from fr I've done this, but I attached a unique identifier as a remark(to be safe). Maybe e-mail or trading account no. |

Me I no wan hear default oo as these commercial papers are not secured and flying everywhere and depends on the status of the issuing company. But still risky when compared to Fixed income. megawealth01: He might still prefer to keep all in stocks Can't you see he's already scared of the market Peace is paramount at this point. 🤣🤣🤣 |

Excerpts from the CGT section: ".........will not be charged if: The sale proceeds are less than ₦150 million, and the chargeable gain does not exceed ₦10 million within 12 consecutive months." As for the percentage, I'm not too sure. |

megawealth01: During an acquisition, the share price of a company can either go up, down, or remain relatively stable, depending on which company you're referring to and the details of the acquisition.
Here's a breakdown:
Some days back
---
1. Target Company (Being Acquired):
Share Price Usually Goes Up
This is because the acquiring company typically offers a premium (higher price) per share to entice shareholders to sell.
Example: If Company A agrees to buy Company B at $50 per share, and Company B's current stock is $40, its price will likely jump toward $50.
---
2. Acquiring Company (Doing the Buying):
Share Price Might Go Down or Be Volatile
Investors may worry about:
The cost of the acquisition (cash/debt/share dilution).
Strategic fit and integration risks.
Overpayment or future returns.
But if the market believes the acquisition is strategically sound and will create value, the stock can go up.
---
Summary Table:
Company Type Typical Share Price Reaction Reason
Target Company 📈 Goes Up Acquisition premium Acquiring Company 📉 May Go Down / Be Volatile Cost, risk, integration concerns Zagee: The newbie farmers still need to give results by yr end. Cocoa and Lakes. Make a stake. Its the risk, and calculated risk is gain too.
