Do I need to renew my passport. 2) meanwhile I had submitted my applications in Dec, am yet to be debited and receive PER, how and when do I update CIC with the proposed new Passport number? Thanks. |

I finally mailed my applications yesterday through courier (DHL). It cost me #21,550! It takes 5 working days to get to Canada. ...but I found out I did not declare any asset or liabilities. I only stated the settlement funds required. Does it affect anything? Thanks. |

Hi My hubby has an age declaration document instead of a birth certificate. Must it be notarized? Secondly can I use a different address for the self addressed labels (am thinking of using company address). This is quite different from the address I filled out on the forms. Lastly, are these just labels or envelops? Since English is our official language, the 2 labels/envelops should both be in EnglisH? Thanks |

Hi all, I noticed that when one validates the Generic application form, a number code on the bottom right appears. When you make corrections on a particular page and reprint or re-validate, that page has a different code from the other pages. In my own case I had to discard the former validated generic form, download another, fill, make all corrections, validate and print without having the different number code issues. The updated generic form does NOT have the immigration processing office question! |

Family / Re: Should Women Change Their Dressing Once They Get Married? by zaliya(f): 8:47am On Nov 26, 2014 |
OP, I think this topic is being read out of context. Every WOMAN should dress decently whether married or single. One can be very fashionable but yet decent. As a married woman you must do more to keep your hubby to yourself. P:S No tying of wrapper over your chest at home, PLS wear bum shorts Also keep fit. Never look shapeless, so your dress can fit properly. Remember you are your hubby's MODEL! |

Hi all. Thanks for all the responses. This is urgent. I started my Masters in 2006 and completed the study in 2008, and my ECA (WES) also reads 2008. However, the date on my certificate is dated Feb. 2009. What do I fill as my study dates 2006 - 2008 or 2006 - 2009? Thanks. |

Hi Justwise. I have a related issue. My hubby just left for his PhD studies about 3 weeks ago. He is not working there and yet to send in his resignation letter to his company here in Nigeria. But I work here in Nigeria with an oil servicing company which also has an office in London. I do hope to apply with my 3 kids to join him soon, and hope to continue with my job in the London office. Meanwhile I don't want my company to get the work permit for me so as not to be solely tied to them due to flexibility. Which one do I apply for? DEPENDANT or for work permit? What TIER? Thanks. |

I once had a tailor who had an abandoned deep freezer where he used to store up people's fabric (Fabric Morgue)! Just forget that fabric once it is kept in that deep freezer, becos u would come back the next year and find out that he had made a beautiful dress for 'Jane' with your fabric. The worse is when you see the fabric, it would have developed 'beards'! #maturitylevel 1 Like |
