Nigeria is the worst country to live in the world.Everything is politics for us here.Unfortunately these fools have their children schooling abroad..enjoying our collective resources. As an Undergraduate, I suffered strikes for months....8 years after as a postgraduate student I am still facing strike.May I never be a Nigerian if there is a second world to come!. Both the government and ASUU should be ashamed of themselves. God will find it difficult to forgive those who have just chosen to make life difficult and meaningless for the citizens of this country! |
Lectures have started!.I confirmed this from Students who are there as at yesterday afternoon.This implies that they have picked the people they want (Lecturers)....Wether they are still in the process of sending SMS to successful candidates is a question only NMU can answer...This is Nigeria where anything is possible! |

You guys are talking as if you don't know that we are in Nigeria where anything is possible.It's because of this and other things like this that we are complaining about corruption in Nigeria...The system is so corrupt and it's only God can save us. We know that you guys might have selected the people you want or the people THEY want for you but sending a regret emails or SMS to applicants who risked their life,money and time to submit the application is not behind the scene for an institution that want to pursue excellence.As for the person/s that handle the social media platforms for NMU..be professional in your job.Being rude is unprofessional in any field of endeavor and nobody will take that from you.You are dealing with different people from different areas of life.We know that you may be having some challenges as well and that you may also not even understand what is actually going on there or what has happened in Abuja about this recruitment but being professional and matured in your response to applicants will be nice and friendly as a fellow countryman who understands what people pass through to get a job here...I asked a question which you did not answer and I repeat....Almost all the people invited for this interview are not under the three pioneer Faculties like you said earlier...Can you please shed more light on this? |

I saw the message below on Vaguard newspaper and decided to share it for those who have been asking about how to get to Maritime University. Anybody who have idea of the message below or who is aware of the road under construction can shed more light on it...God bless everybody and grant us our heart desires It needs to be stated that, though by this day, the popular means of accessing Okerenkoko is by Water Transportation, this may not be for long when the ongoing Warri to Escravos road scheme, which is the Omadino –Okerenkoko- Escravos Tank Farm Road Project, is successfully executed. The road project is being undertaken by the Federal Government through the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and when completed, will make Okerenkoko Community, and indeed, Gbaramatu Kingdom, accessible by road, from Warri in a matter of minutes. |
