Nairaland GeneralHi, I Am Very New And Unsure Of What To Do. by zayzee(op): 2:01pm On Mar 11, 2007
I am Uzezi,

TV/MoviesRe: Is There Any Director Of Movie In The House? I Have A Script Fully Screenplay by zayzee(f): 1:33pm On Mar 11, 2007
Beline,
I noticed nobody told you the first thing you have to do is get your work copyrighted. Yes. I am a writer and believe me, I have been here long and know what happens to unsuspecting people.
While it wouldn't hurt to work with those here who have offered, please, go and get the copyright first.
If nothing works still, I will help direct you to some people already in the business whom I have come to know as genuine people all my years as a journalist.
Good luck.
PoliticsRe: Should Nigeria Adopt The Jury System? by zayzee(f): 1:20pm On Mar 11, 2007
The Jury System is tempting, but truth be told, it wouldn't work in our society, at least not now when our democracy is so young and so corrupt. What would happened in such a jury system is exactly what John Grisham presented us with in the Run Away Jury. Nigerians are hungry. Twelve jury members sharing the ghana must go is better than one judge who can do without the money.
That is not to say there are no honest men in Nigeria, but everyone has a price, and like i said, Nigerians are very hungry people.
That system just won't walk. We should be thankful anyway, that the judiciary is beginning to look up and hold back the evil plans of the Executive and the Legislature.
LiteratureRe: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Book Signing by zayzee(f): 12:11pm On Mar 06, 2007
Hmmn! Chimamanda signing books will no doubt be interesting. She has one hell of an intriguing personailty.

Why people talk about the good in African Books, they should take Chimamanda seriously, because that girl has more upstairs, and we are yet to see or read all of it. I am lucky to have read her books and even interviewed her for my newpaper.
PS: when I blog her story, I will let you know
LiteratureRe: Those Who Love Novels by zayzee(f): 12:02pm On Mar 06, 2007
I like reading novels too. I've read all my life and a friend once said if I read my textbooks the way I read novels, I will never fail an exam.
My best book so far is Sorrows of Satan, by Mariah Correli. Anyone read it?
