Fashion / Rihanna Tattoos by zealdrive: 10:29am On Nov 24, 2009
Did you watch her at the American Music Awards on Sunday night 22nd November 2009. Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian-American recording artist, model and former beauty queen. Her tattoos have drawn so much media attention. She has a total of twelve known tattoos on her body. Whaoo only for one person  shocked grin

She admitted that tattoos are like addiction for her. She is not yet through as she remains in search of interesting and symbolic tattoos. Though she is very choosy about her tattoos and she doesn’t draw big and ambiguous tattoos but she loves to draw decent tattoos. What do you think or say about her?

Fashion / Re: “Describe Your Own Personal Style” by zealdrive: 3:27pm On Nov 12, 2009
For me, i ensure that i always handle the curves to bring out the best.

My style rules for the most desirable shape are:
1. Wear fitted clothes.
2. Celebrate and exaggerate that great waist.
3. Look for high waist styles.
4. Buy tops that are fitted and shaped to the waist.
5. Wear short fitted jackets.
6. Buy fitted shift dresses.
7. Choose pencil or slightly A line skirts.
8. Belt whenever i can.

Nothing adds to the beauty of an outfit more than a classy purse or handbag. It brings out the beauty of any outfit. Plus, a stylish handbag not only makes an elegant statement, it helps to keep your belongings organized and accessible. cool grin cheesy

A woman without her handbag feels as lost as a wanderer in the desert. And she wants it large. If she cannot get it in leather-now growing scarce-she will take it in fabric, fur, or even plastic. The handbag is the movable base of her supplies-the depot of her expected needs. A woman’s handbag is a mysterious dungeon. It’s the key to her real self; the prosaic answer to many poetic conceptions.

The typical handbag of a typical woman contains a certain number of fundamental things-plus her own individual touch. It is that individual touch that fills the bag. Some item is pretty sure to roll out the moment the bag is opened. grin shocked

A woman without handbag is it possible?

I have wondered if women can do without handbags, whether branded, genuine or otherwise. You find out in every occasion that women always try to match up their attire with a bag to go for it. You find it difficult to see a women without a handbag. grin

How possible is it for women to do without handbags?

Fashion / Stretch Marks Aren't Beautiful by zealdrive: 2:50pm On Aug 12, 2009
Stretch marks happen whenever the skin is over stretched. This causes the surface of the skin to be unable to develop the natural, normal amounts of collagen in the region. What happens then is that the skin simply gets a scar from the result.

If you have stretch marks, you likely would like to do anything possible to get rid of them.

NairaLanders, please lets hear your own opinion or method of getting stretch marks off the skin.

Fashion / Re: What's The Latest Trend In Tying The Tie? by zealdrive: 12:11pm On Jul 07, 2009
There are so many styles of tie you will be spoiled for choice. Even women are getting in on the act. Men's fashion for women is becoming ever more popular and so now women are privy to their own range of women's ties! No longer do men have the domination but women are getting in on the action too!

How funky is your pattern or fashion? Let's hear you out!!!
Fashion / Re: What's The Latest Trend In Tying The Tie? by zealdrive: 3:02pm On Jun 30, 2009
Another classy, more traditional knot is the Windsor knot. This looks very good with an expensive French shirt and will show that you take pride in your appearance. This knot is more sturdy than the four in hand knot and will suit a more expensive and longer tie.

-Again place the tie around your neck with the wider end hanging lower. Cross wide end over the narrow end so that it does a full circle.
-Take the wide end and push it up through the neck hole that you have now created.
-Take the wide end and wrap it behind the knot.
-Put the wide end through the neck hole, this time from the top downwards.
-Place the wide end around the front of the knot tidily.
-Again bring the wide end up through the neck hole and tuck through the knot you have created. Pull to tighten.

The Windsor knot gives a much more styled look and makes an expensive suit stand out. One sure fire way to stand out from the crowd is to have a fashionable tie. You could go for a plain tie (pink is very in style for men at the moment) or you could go for a funky pattern. cool wink

Fashion / Re: What's The Latest Trend In Tying The Tie? by zealdrive: 1:40pm On Jun 25, 2009
As well as having different types of ties there are also many different ways to tie them. The most popular being a four in hand knot. This is easy to do and is mainly used for the everyday work tie. It is a great way to start learning how to tie a tie because it only requires a few steps so whether you are rushing out the door for work or you are teaching your son, this knot is the one.

-Place the tie around your neck ensuring that it is tucked under your collar. The wide end should hang longer than the thin end. Hold both ends in your hands and place the wider end over the narrow end.

-The wide end should go round the back of the narrow end so it is on the side it started on. Put it up through the neck hole that you have created and pull it down so that both ends are both hanging together in front of you.

-Take the wide end and pass it through the knot you have created. Pull to tighten.

Fashion / Re: Would You Let Your Teen Become A Fashion Model? by zealdrive: 2:55pm On Jun 24, 2009
Working as a teen model is a great way to prepare my child for working in the “real world,” but it should not interfere with his/her education and it is a decision that will be made by the whole family.
Fashion / Would You Let Your Teen Become A Fashion Model? by zealdrive: 4:06pm On Jun 19, 2009
If you are the parent of a teenager, have you ever been asked by your teen that he/she wants to be a fashion model?

While a large number of teens who want to be fashion models are girls, there are some boys who also wish to do so.

Although your teen may wish to become a teen fashion model, the question is should you let them?

Lets hear your opinion if you find yourself in this situation.

In as much as you would want to change certain thing(s) you do not like about your body, not everyone has the money needed to get cosmetic surgery and not everyone has the time needed to devote to an exercise plan. That is what results in many feeling hopeless, like things are never going to change.

However, there is good news, while you may not necessarily be able to change the way that your body is, you may be able to “change,” the way that it looks.

You can do this with fashion. cool cool cool

How true could this be?

Yeh, I quite agree with you.

A Good Family is a place where you can be yourself. It is a place where you are accepted for what you are. This is where you are completely tension free and everyone is there to help you. Family encourages you when you are surrounded by problems. It helps you survive through tough times and bring joy and happiness into life.

Family / Is Our Tradition Still Working? by zealdrive: 3:17pm On May 01, 2009
The "Traditional" way of married life is not the same as it used to be. Women work now, and they can make more than their husbands. Also, men can take care of the house. "Traditionally" speaking this is "wrong", but the way society is now makes this a norm or at least "okay". The thing is that this causes problems sometimes.

How will you describe a great marriage and what is the way forward?

surrogacy, adoption, in vitro fertilization IVF

any of the above option is the best possible

solution to childlessness imo

Thanks for the suggestion, the fact is that some of these solutions (treatment) does not come without a price, both financially and emotionally and they cost so much that an average person might not be able to foot the bill. The financial strain caused by the cost of such procedures, along with the emotional stress involved in undergoing such extreme treatment place a sometimes insurmountable burden on a relationship. sad
Family / Suffering In Silence by zealdrive: 1:54pm On Apr 29, 2009
How many couples do you know who are struggling to have children? Think again. Chances are, you are surrounded by them. Infertility, one of the few remaining taboo subjects in our society, affects more than 6 million people. Most of these couples suffer in silence.

Please fellow N/landers, what and how do we help them out?

Your candid advise and suggestion will go a long way to helping some one in dear need, who have being suffering.
