And to add to it, I used to see myself as one of the most faithful men on earth, never cheated on any of the few girlfriends I had before I got married, but they all showed me shege. I heard a lot of tales about how girls preferred married men when I was single. I even used to detest my married friends who had side chicks, and equally judged my Pops for doing same, but things changed since I got married. It's the girls that are after me, not the other way that it used to be, and I can swear to you, five out of the seven women who have been pestering me are baby mamas/ married women. Where were they when I was single, faithful and searching? I got to see this whole men-women-relationship thing as an equation that's just begging for balance. Married men do not just cheat a lot as you posited. Something or someone causes it...the women. I also learnt that, that simple sentence " You shall not judge" is no ordinary statement. My advice to young men making some comments here- get married, or if you are married, spend more years..before you judge.

Fatherhood is never easy. Honestly, it is now that I am a father myself that I truly respect my dad and appreciate his efforts.

My advice to young and intending fathers is this: please do not pressure yourself to death trying to prove a point. The society puts a heavy load on men, but you must protect your mental health. Yes, you need to hustle and provide, but do not let that hustle make you a stranger to your children or spouse. Provide money, but provide your presence and love too.

It's like you're talking directly to me here. It took a while for my second child, my daughter, to get to know and accept me. I left home just some few days after she was born and till date, I'm still like a visitor to my family owing to the nature of my job. Columns are vertical supports ( pillars) while beams are the horizontal supports tied to the pillars to transmit loads of a building to the ground. Why I said you could blame poor blocks for collapse in bangalows( which is very rare) is because some people might choose not to use columns for bungalow construction because it doesn't bear much load. In this case, if the building happens to collapse,( again, it's rare) you could put the blame on poorly build blocks.
