No official statement on it closing in December. Though if u can, send before the end of December, hubby can only give u points by writing the IELTS. Adaptability point is scored only if u have a relative in Canada.

The recent cap update last week, is it inclusive of august applicants

Can't be too sure but from observations, it's been said that applications that pass completeness check and are forwarded for charging are the ones that make up that cap. And currently August till 3rd week of sept have been checked.

For instance, I want to migrate for the sole aim of being dual, start a new career, add that western world experience to my working experience then move back to Nigeria cos this is where the real money is. Extremely difficult to get rich there especially as an immigrant, People just live a decent and average life there. I don't have much here, with just over 2years working experience in a telecom company, single & free , I can leave this country with just a day notice and carrying just my backpack. While some well established family men are seeking this PR to move their family out of this country of uncertainty, they want a better life for their children. I know 2 senior managers applying for this fswp with consultants, one comes to work in a LR3 customized interior bearing his name, we wrote IELTS together but I dodged them, lol. So, there's really no particular reason for migrating, Alot of Indian professionals are selling their homes and moving their entire family to Canada. We all have our reasons for moving out of naija.

I used to think it indicates the number of PER recipients for each NOC but from a reply someone got from CIC it indicates the number of people that have passed the completeness check and ready for charging and is estimated to be about 50+days behind. whenever I come across that post I'll share it here.

Advice to fresh applicants., stay off 2173 software developers, go for another NOC related to ur job.
Ask questions whenever u're in doubt. Take ur time in filling ur forms no room for errors.

You can't use photocopy of IELTS, u have to apply for another TRF from Bitish Council by showing evidence of ur applications. Why not make up ur mind on one NOC, chose the one ur reference letter is more aligned to or even a colder NOC.
