I have been using a non-inverter freezer for over 5 years now and never had issues with. I recently bought an inverter fridge, about to start using it next month. Hopefully I can learn from this topic. I did this because I want to go completely off-grid. I am using a 2.5kva inverter + 2pcs 220ah batteries. However, I bought a new 10kva + 15kwh lithium battery to add to it. Hence, i am having to go for solar friendly appliances.

I have 1.5hp non-inverter ac. Can I connect this to my inverter set up and use only during sun peak hours?

Yes u can use ur ac with ur 10kva and solar panels. However mk sure u have enough panels so you can also have extra power to charge your battery. Cheers
