So I checked on them Monday and explained my situation. But it isn't all good news jàre. Cos of the relationship we've had for a while, they know that my appliances are on solar, so if I complain of a faulty item, they know that it's most likely a factory defect and not due to misuse or NEPA surge. They've replaced for me before FOC a 32 inch TV on warranty within 2 years.

On the AC, they said they can't take it back cos it's been installed already. But they promised to help me get a buyer in no distant time. They said something however that caught my attention. That their AC sales (demands by customers) are mostly Hisense and that before they get to sell one unit LG, they've already cleared like 10 units Hisense ACs.



OMG! 1.5hp, and it's doing 900w peak. And that my own ńa just 1hp and even though the room is well cooled, I go dey hot for inside as I see am dey chop 1000w from my much coveted battery storage. Aswear, I don seriously miss road on top this one.

Definitely going for the LG Dual inverter, the reviews are great. I had my sight set at Thermocool due to its energy efficiency. Though my main aim is to get a very efficient ac, one should not get something that doesn't work as I have seen many say Thermocool just doesn't work.



Please which model of LG inverter AC do you use? 550-600w for a 1.5HP AC is super impressive.

no matter how much power saving a manufacturer claims..if you wan enjoy AC, just beef up everything, solar o, inverter o, battery o.

It's sad that he got the wrong type of air conditioning unit. I too did not know LG makes different inverter ACs and energy saving is optional in some model.
I have a 1.5hp LG inverter ac that consumes about 400w plus after a while especially at night, I have seen it do 395w thereabout at some point. During the day it ramps up about 900w plus then drops to around 550w plus to 600w thereabout.

Come on, if you are ordering from another country, the equivalent is even more expensive. Not to even talk about delivery. I have had an experience with this.

Even if you're dropshipping from China, there's no way you would set prices that low. And even if you did, you should have loads of customers and vendors. Where are their reviews? Share some of those reviews you got on any platform.

I will suggest you ask for an address and make a purchase instead of calling them out without an actual purchase from you.

Apart from the quality of products, which may be a factory designed fault, every other thing you listed here is the false of the end users.
Take a look at the heating temperature of the inverter via the attached picture. Very few people do create time to open the sides of their inverter and clean the dust/blockage. Some people do not even remember it till they pack the inverter. This blockages do not always create room for air circulation/ventilation inside the system as the fans are blowing, whereby creating unnecessary internal heat within the closed system.

We have bad maintenance culture but we won't agree. There are also some cases of factory error.

Zeestone99 na correct person. He's like family now. He's bin a major help in my small installation journey together with this group. Even questions wey no make sense, he wud still nicely respond to u and even offer u better options/alternative. Gotten a few inverters from him but the single one he helped me get from his colleague that was faulty from source, he took 100% charge of it and ensured it was repaired under warranty same day i sent it and got it back.
