Yes. I hope so. I got an A (81%) in my final project and that one was 8 Units. I hope it's more.

How can i go about the evaluation? Thank you.
well you need to start by knowing the school of want and check out their admissi9n requirements then you will request for your transcript and have it evaluated by WES or any other service. so one step at a time

Okay, I don't know how to convert my grade to CPGA 4.0

I graduated from an Indian University so grading is different. It's just final grades of A,B and C.

A being First Class
B being Second Class Upper
C being Second Class Lower

Anyways, i finished with B and my percentage was 68.1%

Regardless, First Class (A) is 70% in my school. So out of 4.0 I'd say my CGPA is somewhere around 3.3 to 3.4.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you. smiley
Correct. it could even be more than what you think. Go evaluate your result

Abeg without Grant, cos am going in with pathways to msc, 4months costing 13kusd how man go take cover up, fear dey blow my yansh even if the visa is granted...
Advice pls my cpga isn't that cool (2.98) no sat or gre or GMAT or any exam, how do I Change to a more city-tionalized area if -change- dey dea haahahah
Well, with that your GPA, you need to forget about city or village school. Go and write GRE then buffer all your credentials up and start applying to school but with that Gpa, You are on the borderline in getting full funding or city school sad

Hello house,

Please advise on Schools offering Bachelor of Nursing program with full funding.

Thank you
Funding is actually rare for bachelors. You can take your pre requisite classes at a community college then you transfer for BSN. If your Gpa is good, you can get some funding but it might not be full.

I am not going argue with you. You are only talking from hearsay. I have lived in houston for more than 2 years. Before I came to the usa, people said there plenty Nigerians in houston but you will be surprised that you won't see them left and right lol cheesy cheesy. You sounded like nigeriams walk on the street of houston like it's oshodi or Eko idumota. Well the only time you can see them is in church or mosque on Sundays

that's not true . have you ever been to Houston before ? who told you will see Nigerians left and right. it's just over hyped. you barely even see people walking on the street not to talk of seeing who or who is naija or not.

Yes, they is a nig population but you don't see them gallivanting about

Boss in the house that have been in usa for long or have idea please help. Please I need to learn or perhaps perfect my driving skills before I go for the driving test but I want to know if there is a way to get learners permit to enable me practice on the road or even in school without having problem with police incase stopped.
Imperiouxx, slimmy2005, msnas and others that have idea on this please help.
what state are you ? you can get a learner permit (limited term) before you do the real driving test. go to your local DPS office and take the computer test. you don't neccesarily have to do driving test now. I drove for about 6 months before I went ahead to do the real driving test.

@darefadi thanks for ur point noted...So does it mean I can reapply again? also the course is wide and cuts accross other professions like economics, political sc,intl relation nd the likes. So do u advice I go with another acct, the same embassy ?
you can get a visa for social science but you need to give the VO a valid reason. My advice is don't rush, take your time to research or change your course. you can defer to spring 2017 if you want. You do not need to change sponsor if he/she has enough fund. your only problem was that you couldn't explain reason for social science and you don't even know how much your dad earn. so go work on your confidence and do your mathematics.

Hello there,am new on here,a friend introduced this forum to me nd I believe will get the right ans...have just been refuse a US visa to study on Tuesday nd am planning to reapply...below are how the interview went hoping to b corrected against my next interview:
Consular: what are u going to the US to do?
Me: am going to the US to study
Consular: is it masters?
yes
Consular:what's course?
masters in social science
Consular:why troy university?
after going through the internet for the best institution in research nd communicating with current student pursuing their masters in troy I was convinced that troy will gimme d best research facilities.moreover they gave me a sense of belonging by keep me updated about the school activities upon arrival even after been given admission unlike other schools I applied to
Consular:are u married
no
Consular:that means no kids
no kids at all
Consular:where are u working
I work with the federal government of Nigeria under thr federal ministry of Nigeria in one of the federal government girls colleges as a lecturer
Consular:who's sponsoring u
my father is sponsoring my education
Consular:what other university did u apply to
I applied to 3 other universities;Concordia university at New York, devry university at Texas nd Mississippi university
Consular what does your father do?
his an admin manager at total Nigeria Ltd nd also has a logistic company of his own that produces sachet water and bottled water
Consular:what's his income?
I wouldn't know how much he earns but he gave me his bank statement to back my application.
after which I gave him the financial statement nd he went through it.And later looked at me after checking nd said his sorry he won't be able to gimme d visa nd gave an orange paper like that.
Throughout the interview he didn't ask for any document from me only collected my I20 nd passport
pls would be so glad if u can kindly point out my fault here so as not to make d same mistake
Well you mess up when you cant even tell the VO the amount your father makes from his pure water business.

lastly , who send you to give the VO your statement of account?? did he ask for it?

it has always been emphasize in this thread never give a VO what he doesn't request because it will lead to more question and issues.

MAY GOD save you from this one oo
