The most likely reason is that he believe that your dad ll return but he was not sure of your brother.

In general VO used your brother as your dad's tie to Nigeria.
yea, I guess as much.
thank you Kenny. he will reapply again.

How's everything? how is your side ?

His answer is bad because it is not specific. it will be better to say:
"Business services in Nigeria is still very basic and inefficient. Technologies that can aid customer service, payment, human resources and material allocation with undoubtedly improve the bottom line of businesses and create satisfied customers and employees.

These are what the course is about. To improve and develop business solutions using technology."

@lazywriter
did you see my post, that was why I said he should define it and he can add his previous sentence as a buffer. when I say define is expantiate more about technology management so the VO can understand

Did you invite them for your ocassion or just for summer visiting? Whatever the case may be, you already know that the VO didn't believe the minor is not coming to start life in the US. My advice would be you stating a clear reason you want him to come. Let your dad reapply for him. And yes, he should follow him to the embassy to make the matter clear for them during the interview. Another VO might judge the situation right. Best!

I invited them just for holiday. they will spend 10 days pere, it's just funny that they denied a small boy. I think the option is reapply for him again and dad will follow him. i accept that the VO think the small boy was eloping. today wasn't just a lucky day for him.

anyways how's your classes going ?

Hello House...

VISA interview is tomorrow, and I want to know what you guys think about the reply to the question "what will this course do for you" .....Course is Technology Management (blend of Tech and Business).

Answer: It will help me assess the Nigerian sectors for shortcomings and analyse ways of improving them using technology.
your response is good but technology in Nigeria is wack. so it will be better to define tech mgt to the VO so he can have an idea then you can say your previous statement your post.

Without having a holistic /total view of the application, the speculations will be off the chart. Maybe the VO didn't believe your brother was your brother and not your son, or he's to be the tie your father has.
my dad actually told the VO he's last baby. they are so identical sef. same face, like as if he vomited him. my dad has a lot of ties. ( business, properties and my mom and my 3 sisters lol) and we are 5 and I am the firSt. can we reapply for him again and dad will like follow. he's the last born and only son and you know how dad always pet last born. na just holiday and go back.

I have a bit issue and I can't seem to figure it out. I invited my dad and my younger brother (he's 10 years). My dad is early 50s. My dad visa was approved nd the VO denied my brother. My dad said the VO just ask if he's married and how many kids he has and his job. No document was asked. The VO didnt ask my brother any question, he didn't even look at his face. Please what could have gone wrong ? Why will he deny a 10 years old boy ? I have read on NL that kids don't get denied just on few occasion but this is really a blow.

I need comments on this please. Advice

please i want to ask this. i am on a visit visa and intend spending 3 months here before i return back to nigeria. i am in baltimore, maryland now and i intend to drive around. i have an international drivers license from nigeria but someone told me i can convert my international drivers license to a maryland Drivers license for the period of my stay here. is this correct pls
Yes, I know in Chicago, Houston and NY you can get a temporary driver license but it's only valid for 3 months or 6 months at most. You can also keep using your Nigeria license since you will only be spending 3 months. Just go to any DPS office around you, they will tell you how to do it

I got a car first. I believed if the car is on ground then I will figure how to drive. One of coworker taught me for just 30 mins but I didn't understand. One morning, my apartment put a sign on my car that they were gonna tow away the car since I just left it parking. The next morning, I paid insurance and just decided that Na only once I go die Na. I called my mom and she ginger me. I drove to work that morning md the rest is history. I can drive anywhere.

Hello House, i was having a conversation with a friend today about my wife with a B1 valid visa but she has an intention of applying for her masters some time this year, he said her B1 could be revoke if she is denied the F1. Though i really doubt him but i just want to hear from someone that have similar experience.
Her B1 can not be revoked. if she get the F1 visa, her B will be cancelled. if she doesn't get the F1, she can still travel the B1 visa.

Please I have this to clarify
I have been formerly married but divorced since last year but I have a child wit my ex wife
I have got my US visit visa since 2015 January and only visited the US just once where I spent just 7 days.
Recently I hearld that my ex-wife travelled to the US with my daughter who is just 5 years old, both of them went on a visiting visas which I am aware they got around last year September, I got mine in January.
Now, I plan visiting the US for vacation next week, and plans to spend just 3 weeks with my friend
Now, can I be asked questions about my ex-wife's who is currently in the US ? Reason I'm asking is that we r divorced and I don't even know her whereabout now, all I know is that she's still in the US since December when she went. I only follow her on the Facebook.
1) Can I be questioned about her, even though we r divorced
2) I don't have any evidence of us being divorced, must I get to the POE with evidence of the divorced ?
Thank you house
you probably won't be questioned. You have been to the USA once and u never travelled with your ex wife, neither didn't u apply to get a visa together. Every one has a life . Being divorce means you guys don't share anything again. That is the last question border officer will ever ask you. So travel in peace and enjoy your holiday.

Hello house, please i need some advise concerning admission. My wife just came back from the US with a B1/B2 visa but she is considering applying for a community college, i don't really know if it's a good idea since she just came back and won't they see it as a desperate adventure since she just came back after spending 4 months over there. Though her visa is still valid.
it doesn't matter. Her history of visit to the USA is also added advantage,at least she didn't overstay the visa. I will prefer she apply to a university then get her visa, afterward she can transfer to a college when she arrive to the USA. Shikena

Hello people I need some advice , a friend of my Dad over stayed in the USA, now he want to apply for a student visa , his mum is ready to finance him, so i want to know his there going to be a problem in is application because his dad overstay , jeopardizing the nonImmigrant Visa rules
I guess u mean your friend dad overstayed. Well, your friend can still apply for a student visa and proof to the VO that he's a credible student. If he is not asked about his dad, he shouldn't raise the issue. Since his mom is the sponsor then he should give it a trial.

Thanks. I've heard of people applying for F1 from a foreign country being told to go apply from their country of origin. You mean having a foreign residency permit removes this need?
yes it does but you must be able to proof strong ties that country so since you just moved there then its sometimes easier to apply from Nigeria. either way works though

Hello everyone.
I was denied F1 visa for a masters in public health November 2014. After that I've been practicing in one of the gulf countries for about 1 year. I'm planning on applying to Kaplan medical for a 3 month usmle course.
Dunno if it's advisable applying F1 visa from a foreign country (I've a valid residency permit) or is it better coming back to 9ja?
What are my chances given the previous denial? Who knows how reputable Kaplan is in terms of F1 visa?
Gurus in the house (Big Francis, Walspring, Zeezah, Impreioux, Slimmy, Just wise, warri boy, etc) your input would be highly appreciated. Thanks. cool
if you can prove residency and strong ties in the foreign country you are based currently then you can apply for F1. I know 2 people who came to the usa with Kaplan usmle. I couldn't ave believed if I haven't meet them. They ended up dropping out of Kaplan because of the fee and prolly they can read and pass it without tutorial. Kaplan is just like a tutorial or lesson. this peeps are now in a community college just to buy enough time to get a slot. it is quite easy to get visa with Kaplan usmle than applying for masters. so you can give Kaplan a try.

Hi everyone,

I have got a question: Please, what is the best (and probably cheapest) way for someone who graduated from a school of nursing to further her studies in the US? I don't know jack about medical/nursing sciences.

cc Imperiouxx, MsNas, Zeezah, slimmy05, bbdd, bigFrancis21...
it is easy but the person will prolly have to apply for Bachelors in nursing. have to take some pre reqs classes, she can evaluate her school of nursing certificate. some schools will prolly accept some of her naija courses. the cheapest way is for her to take the the pre reqs class in a community college and transfer to a uni. she can get some kind of scholarship as well. The only thng is that nursing is not under STEM and getting a hospital to file might be hard. its always better if one is a resident.

This is not about rich getting richer. If something like this was staged in oshodi or Iyana-ipaja, it will never last 1 week. Agbero, market seller and the likes. Some people will even urinate on the Christmas tree. The roads are bad and smoke from the molue and danfo wont even bring out the beauty.
I believe those in ikoyi and Vi are a bit sane and at least that area is a more of office not residential.

@ Zeezahbee,

I see why you're concerned about anatomy and physiology the day I told you I'm taking the course. The course tries hard to be smart but unfortunately, it got no deuce. I've shown it the kind of stuffs I'm made off. I will soon start with the Advanced classes in A&P.
anatomy and physiology is hard especially in USA. They make you finish a whole textbook in just one semester. It's actually easy in nigeria because it split into semesters.

Well this is america, no matter how hard it is. You will get a C lol. Naija no dey carry last.

Falsely claiming to be a US Citizen is a lifetime ban from the US with no chance at a waiver. So, not all your illegals are forgiven.
this is broad daylight ignorance. If you have your facts, post the links. Don't post hearsay stories. Those people who were deported actually did sham marriage and they didnt cover their tracks well and even at that USA would never deport them. You still got d chance to even remarry and file a new AOS. Just prove it and you get it.

Usa will never deport anyone for getting married.

If any of your friend or whoever has been denied AOS, then ask them for the truth of the matter.

you are saying something else again, the illegals I mean is just only overstaying your visa or running out of status. That's what we are talking about here.
Anyways , to the real poster , you can submit your document for AOS and then bring your parents in afterwards.
