jelmusboy: I also need response to this. I finished all 17 modules within three days. What's the possibility of getting job in Canada with the certificate upon landing?
I want to increase my chances of getting job within 1 month of landing Please did you use your UCI number only or with COPR to attend the courses? I have the new UCI but still waiting for my PPR, will I be allowed to attend the courses? I need something to be doing to keep busy |

SAnode: Hey guys, So I have a quick one, hubby and I are getting POF love sum from my dad into our joint account next week, we intend entering the pool first week of next month. Questions is 1) Can we buy treasury bills with the funds and use the certificate as well as gift of deed and bank statement in that the purchase would have been made one month prior submitting ITA Yes, I did the same. |

drcynthia: finally.... Thanks zeiya. Um, did u have to go to the bank to adjust ur card limit or enable internet banking....for the GTB card? Yes your card should be enabled for internet banking ( or mobile app) as long as u have enough funds in your account, it will fly, their card limit will cover ur application fee |

Ifeoma77: They usually all say that, but once you provide any documentation from IRCC showing your UCI, they accept it. Both Acess and SOPA wrote the same thing on their websites but once you've gotten MEP, they admit you into their program. Another alternative is to mention it to you Facilitator during the Planning for Canada Session. He/she will include it in your MAP and they will contact you by themselves. Thank you very much for this info. I didn't attend PFC session on 18th Sept because I am yet to pass medicals ( AOR Sept 5th) and it was boldly written on their invitation email that the new UCI is mandatory, I couldn't risk attending and be bounced back. Once I pass medicals I will book for another session and register for other pre arrival services to keep my mind busy. |

Ifeoma77: You don't need to get any certificate to prove your job in baking. Your Bsc has covered the ECA requirement. As for proving your work experience, thankfully baking is in NOC group B so you are good to go. If you work for someone else, get a reference letter in CIC format and that is sufficient for the EE process. If you're self employed, you'll need documents to prove your business like tax clearance, CAC registration, account statements, customer reference letters etc. It will also help if your business has social media and general online presence. When you're done with EE (or once you get your UCI), there's a free pre-arrival certification course you can do on food safety management training www.fpsc-ctac.com/careers-for-new-canadians/ Can this course be done with UCI ? I read on their site that you must have COPR or PR letter. Do you know someone that was accepted with just UCI? |

nnetayo: So I just got back from doing biometrics....phew! I'd advise those who plan to get it done to get the earliest appointment available. I did the 10 o'clock and I spent 3 hours trying to get it done. Hubby was so upset and almost turned back, but thankfully we eventually got it done.
I think the process can actually be faster. Please how did you book appointmet for your biometrics? By phone or mail? |

stonecoldcafe: Please please please and please again kindly decline this ITA. The wait post submission can sometimes be draining coupled with the fact that someone will be thinking and thing "what if, what if" IT IS NOT WORTH IT!
On this thread, we have been advised time and time again not to inpute false information for ECA or IELTS reference numbers in other to land ITA. You were advised wrongly sir so decline.
Give yourself peace of mind. 5th of September to 21st September is too short. Better to wait... Take this advice very serious. |
