Congrats @ onebase97.
Many people really passed IELTS this batch with wonderful scores. I pray it continues so that we will be the number one country in EE by next year.

If you have not gotten your desired score, quitting is not an option, just put yourself together and write again. We must all get it one day to proceed.

I found the prayer of st Joseph of Cupertino after my first attempt and it worked for me. I even went ahead to read about the saint on the internet .

After my first attempt, I found out that is not only how hard or how many past questions you studied as some people pass very well with only few days rehearsal while others study for months with several attempts to pass.

The prayer is about getting questions that you are comfortable with all through your exams. It is all about faith.

BootyliciousHon:
Hello all. Hubbys IELTS result (BC)was LRWS : 8, 8, 6.5, 8.
He intends asking for a remark on writing and even I know that 6.5 was a joke. It was his first time writing.
I searched through nairaland for how to go about requesting for EOR with BC. A lot of people seem to have said they requested for an EOR but the only person I found that stated how to go about it did that sometime in May 2017 ( talked about going to BC office in Lagos to collect a form and all that).
I would like to know from people who have done so recently how they went about it. Can it be done online? Or would one have to go to BC office? Does it still take 8 weeks for the EOR?
I am the PA and my ielts result are fine. We are just angry with the 6.5 score in writing.
I would appreciate your response.
Why remarking since he is not the PA? this result will give him about 16 points on IELTS.
Have you calculated your CRS score with his result? Unless you are looking for the whole points on English test he can go ahead and remark.

GUYS I need help , i have Bsc from FUTA , Msc from UI. Everyother requiremenmt met. 8.5,7,7,7. age 28, 5 years experience . i want to do ECA with WES. But i need to know first .

do i have to evaluate both Bsc and Msc results . Also is it a must to send WAEC.
LASTLY , i want to know is tehre anyway i can fasttrack this WES program . dont want it to go beyond 2 months . thanks
Evaluate only your masters degree for this process. I used less than 20k to process my transcript ( including my student's copy) no verification fee. UI postgraduate is very organised, it will be faster if you have someone there to push things.

You can send your MSc. certificate directly to WES using hellofax.

Yes, it is a must to verify your waec now, it is straightforward too, just search for the posts here on Nairaland.

Yes, you can get everything done within 2months.

If you are referring to the FPHRC course, you can use your UCI no alone and upload your AOR letter as evidence. That's what I did and I completed the course in August. The lady at the Canada orientation session (IOM) said I didn't need COPR.
Yes, I am referring to the course. Thanks so much. It will keep me busy for a while.

Pls I am interested in this gist....place which courses can one take before landing.....
Dunno if I can get a link for the list so I choose from thanks zeiya.
Also @zeiya when u went for it biometrics, were there alot of people there? And the address....
It is one of the pre arrival online courses. There are many of them ,you choose the one most suitable for your career.

We went early for the biometrics ( we didn't book appointment). We were there before 6.30am and waited till 8.00am(opening time). The people i met there were less than 100 for different stuff. About 20-25 people came for biometrics. I left before 9.00am.

You would be able to attend the course with just your UCI and probably evidence of Med passed. At least that's what wifey used way back in March or so.
Thanks for the info.
