SonofElElyonRet: He's just catching cruise.. no intention to scam I agree, he poses no threat, except to the ridiculously gullible. Sending money to "the organizers" of his "Meet and Greet" event, for example, would be an express way to enter the Guinness Book for Gullibility. SpaceX's comic missives are far more entertaining than threatening. And, mind you, he pranks about on Nairaland, across threads, not just here. |

essentialone: Neimeth paid 7 kobo in 2022. None in 2023 and none in 2024. If they do not pay in this 2025 and in 2026, they will join the List.
We use 4 years tenure of No-Dividend gap, before adding a Company to the List.
Lasaco last paid in 2021 when they paid 10 kobo. If they do not pay in this 2025, they will join the List.
What do you think? Very helpful Oando is the VIP and Chief Celebrity of the group. But the fact you see it on this list is the reason you're seeing it at this market price. I wish somebody could track OS and EPS for us, especially with the banks. |

essentialone: HISTORICALLY, THESE 28 ACTIVE COMPANIES DO NOT PAY DIVIDENDS. BESIDE THEM, IS THE YEAR THAT THEY LAST PAID ANY DIVIDEND. WILL ANY OF THEM PAY DIVIDEND THIS YEAR 2025?
1) Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc (2011) 2) Austin Laz & Company (has never ever paid Dividend) 3) Champion Breweries (1986) 4) Chams Plc (2019) 5) Daar Communications (has never ever paid Dividend) 6) Deap Capital Management & Trust (2009) 7) E-Tranzact International (2017) 8. Eunisell Interlinked Plc (1999) 9) FTN Cocoa Processors (2010) 10) Golden Guinea Breweries (1997) 11) Guinea Insurance (2010) 12) Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc (2014) 13) John Holt Plc (2005) 14) NCR Nigeria (2011) 15) Oando Plc (2014) 16) Omatek Ventures (has never ever paid Dividend) 17) Regency Alliance Insurance (2019) 18) Royal Exchange (2014) 19) RT Briscoe (2012) 20) SCOA Nigeria (2015) 21) Secure Electronic Technology (2008) 22) Sovereign Trust Insurance (2011) 23) Tantalizers Plc (2012) 24) Thomas Wyatt Nigeria (2011) 25) Union Dicon Salt (2001) 26) Universal Insurance Company (has never ever paid Dividend) 27) Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc (2017) 28) Wapic (Coronation) Insurance (2016)
Sincerely, if you are a lover of Dividends, you should avoid these 28 Companies completely. Unless a miracle happens, none of them will still pay any Dividend in this year 2025. Trade cautiously… I didn't see Neimeth in the list. It's one of those companies in perpetual turnaround condition. |

The President is the Minister for Petroleum. It is a retained portfolio, by discretion of the President. Buhari did too. The Minister of State, Lokpobiri, not Kyari, is his deputy in the Ministry. The Minister of State is also called the Junior Minister. There is one or two in every Ministry. |

mikeapollo: Finance costs may still wipe off a lot of the profits. Oando still needs to raise equity capital (or find whatever means) to pay off significant chunk of the toxic debts before its profits can have some breathing space According to Wale, Oando has 1 billion barrels of crude oil underground. My prayer for Oando and it's upstream mates is for crude oil to remain above $70 a barrel, with all the disruptions around the world, including Trump's policies at home and abroad. Conoco P - $1.5b NAOC - $0.7b Even assuming there has been no debt reduction since Conoco P, what is $2b debt to an entity sitting on $70b, less production costs. ? I may be missing something seriously. |

Yet when I return to some semblance of sanity, I find myself still begging for data. It's easy. It's a psychiatric condition known as Grandiose Delusions treatable in any of the psychiatric hospitals. Or even better, bring 1m and I will take you to one Baba who will cast it out of the midst of you permanently and in a jiffy. |
