Its awaiting CBN approval. I keyed in some units hoping it could follow its twin brother, fidelity.
Thats one bank that is yet to really move.

All the banks have done well so I hope that just releasing the result will help boost it over the #10 mark which it has been scared of for sometime now.

By the way, we're yet to see FCMB Q3 Result, or did I miss it? All it's mates have reported.

Okay, I was wrong then about 2023.

But so far in 2024, they're yet to show any proof that the kernel still remains in the shell.
And, even after regulatory suspension, they've still remained unrepentant unlike Oando that quickly acted to redeem their name.

I happen to be a shellholder of some stocks myself, a Gambler, a jijoist, trader and investor. Sometimes I hammer, sometimes burnt fingers.

Btw. Oando has not indicated if they applied for and gotten approval for late submission of Q3 and when they expect to file it.

I think they just pay fine for every month of default until it becomes too heavy again for the regulators to endure.

This could be one of the thorny issues that may be raised if Oando decides to do an equity fund-raise without putting some clarity and finality to the matter. Although an equity raise (from the public) is more or less a confirmation that they are no longer delisting.

If shellholders refuse to let Oando delist from the NGX, Oando will delete the shellholders by PP capital raising. By delisting or by deleting, shellholders shall not be part of the goldmine, sorry.

In this game you look well before you JI.

Regarding the recapitalization, you can only be wiped out or swallowed in dilution if you remain in the stock till the new shares are listed.
Before that would happen in Oando, there could be room for two JIJOs or more.

Emma is an eminent analyst nonetheless. He knows the history of Oando from Unipetrol. He is not against Oando or Oandites, but is highly critical of the governance.

Transpower, Geregu, EEDC (Enugu) and others are popularly called Discos wich is short for Distribution Companies. But I don't know if any of the Discos combines two or the whole operations of Generation, Transmission and Distribution.

As for part 2 of your remark, until that one starts happening. But I believe the huge shortage of power supply as you said will accommodate the competition.
