I did my biometric capture on Tuesday and it went smoothly, no long queue or hiccups. The officer that attended to me was quite pleasant. The one that attended to my wife was a bit nasty, guess she was tired and easily irritated.

It moved to the 3rd stage, 4th stage and 5th stage all through the evening and dropped at about midnight or thereabout. When I checked the status at 3am, it was completed and the PCC document was available for download. A completion email was also sent. My wife got a completion sms, I didnt.

I registered for her on Friday morning, I did my own registration on Sunday morning. I used the plug to move both on Monday morning and we did biometric capture on Tuesday evening. PCC was available to use on Wednesday.

So the turn around time using my own timeline is 3 days. You can actually achieve it in 2 days or the same day you submit if your plug is on hand.

Had to buy the conventional panasonic last year but was considering to buy LG or panasonic inverter AC later this month because of power issues in my area but after checking round an installer advised that the conventional airconditioners are far better than their inverter equivalent on the long run. Don't know how true this is though.

May be some professionals here can further advise.

I looked at this thread and others last year November 2020 and decided I will go for LG inverter AC 1.5 hp.
I am here to advise people not to buy LG AC. You will spend 2 years of your warranty having issues with water leaking into the house. Only after 3 months I started having this issue. They kept on sending technicians for another 2 months try to repair it. They finally gave up and asked me to bring it to them. When I took it back to them one of the staff said this ACs always have this issue. So they know about it... Lol. Wahala for who go buy LG o

My inverter is 2.4KVA and with 2 batteries at the moment.

LG has two years warranty while Hisense has just one. LG inverter ACs come with ten years warranty on the compressor. Price of LG is higher than Hisense by far

Price is not the issue here, what is major for me is to buy right. And am open to other brands outside Hisense or LG that can guarantee rest of mind.
I just need advice from you experience people in order to take an informed decision.
