To those who are in one form of distress or another,I say to u that be still n know that He is God n unto them that believe,nothing shall be impossible.
Genbuhari,d Lord is ur strength,really. I understand perfectly well how u're both feeling rite now.Pls,don't give up cos when d doctors says they have tried their best,it means they haveb exhausted all they have to help n that is where God's miracles start from,there is no help anywhere but in Him,so,abeg,just remain focus. As for the infection,with d antibiotics she's taking,I also know that raw garlic is good in treating those.If u both won't mind d odour,4 cloves/day won't hurt.Let her also take a lot of water melon n oranges too.Am sure God has a awesome testimony coming for us,so,we are in this together.Keep us posted.

@kemidebbie,no o.I got my bfp a few months after but it just gave me d assurance that at least,no more doubtd on d blocked tube or anyother thing for that matter,that's all.Only God can give us our desired bfp,we can only do what we know how to do best.Either way u go,God will still be glorified.Don't worry dear.

@ genbuhari-just know that it is well with u,ur wife n baby.Don't let this situation pose itself bigger than God.I won't say I had exactly d same experience cos mine was premature rupture of d membrane at 21/22weeks,my cervix was said to have opened by then n that d baby was on his way out,so I was induced for over 12hrs,nothing happened.After checking me severally n notifying me to get ready to push d baby out,d doc came again(by then,I was just singing praises to God)to check d cervix that was at 8cm n realised it's completely shut.That definitely is God.A scan was done very early d next morning n d baby was doing perfectly well n so,I was placed immediately on a few antibiotics which I continued for like 2months n after delivery.
So personally,I feel strongly that she ought to have been placed on antibiotics to avoid infection.As per wanting to urinate,there should be a bed pan beside her n have faith that nothing evil will happened.I carried a healthy growing baby thru 2months leaking out d water,Only God could ve done that.We're with u in prayers.Be still n know that He is God.

@kemidebbie,I know about it.It's d flushing of d tubes if any form of scar/blockage was seen during hsg.When I had it done a few yrs back b4 my first pregnancy,I was under sedation during d entire process afterehich I woke up n just went home.Just bled very lightly for like a day/2 sha.It's nothing really much cos at d end of it,d doc said my tubes weren't blocked in d 1st place.

Hello everyone,I eventually got my opk positive today(cd15,usually cd11) n d way it came this cycle was strange n different,exactly like seanbell's.Am so relieved n I felt a few signs too.My temps have been funny too,mostly 36.4 n 2/3days of 36.5,it has never been so for me.I decided to start with d bromocriptine today,vitex on suspension for now.We are also treating d infections so,I just trust God for His best.
@Sean dearie,we shall wait for u to test on cd50 o.Just be rest assured that all is well no matter what.Always rejoice in d Lord.

@sean,I have told u to got take an hpt or d blood or both sef. Ur reason for not doing it is fear and not faith. Ve seen sveral people who got pg without any obvious thermal shift,not even d biphasic.So,it's not a criteria my dear.Go confirm it right now,abegi.

Update: my temps this cycle have been funny n i've been getting negative opks even at cd14.I have never been this late with positive opk but I just know it is well.

@udoka dear,thanks a bunch for that info.I would actually have prefered d vitex being herbal but I'll go with doc's prescription for now.Or what do u think?Y did u take it for 2wks?My doc asked me to keep taking it till pregnancy occurs,no time line.What do u think?

Pls,does anyone in da house know if I can take vitex while taking bromocriptine? I've been taking vitex for a month now n ve just been prescribed to take bromocriptine. Pls,I need a reply asap.Thanks.

@udoka2,am so gratefulu to God for this wonderful testimony.I told dh that am sure it's just an excess that isn't needed by d baby n mum that's been expelled.It is well with u my dear.
@sasi,I second what udoka said,don't give up on God.If u believe u were pregnant with a baby n not blood,hold on to it cos there absolutely nothing impossible with God.If God could close a cervix that d doctors said to have dialted to 8" at 22wks,n carried a healthy growing baby 4 2months with little or no water for 2months plus,my dear,there is nothing absolutely impossible.I've also heard of a couple that d doctors didn't ANYTHING in d womb until they were 12wks gone.The doctor had already told her to come for a d n c.So u see,dwell on things that are of good report n keep thanking Him for what He has done.
To all who responded to my last post,am so grateful n I pray d Lord would perfect all that concerns all those who are in d house,active n silent followers,truck loads of bfps soon IJN.
We're on treatment for d infections so ttc on suspension for now,just knackson at will,not timing or anything.I'll be starting my exams by july ending which will last for one week so,after that,we can start active ttc or something.

Update: Am on cd 8 today,dh went for his sfa result today n they were actually ridiculous.
Motility- active 10%, sluggish 10%, dead 80% Morphology- normal 10%, head defect 30% neck defect 30% tail defect 30% Total spermatozoan count per mil 3million per mil, total spermatozoan count per ejaculate 9 million per ejaculation,Result- poor, Culture isolate-yielded profuse growth of staphylococcus,S+++ levofloxacin, ceftriazone, S+ ciprofloxacin ,it is resistant to the other drugs. So that's d result but am not moved by it. Humanly speaking,I would say it went from bad to worst,it has never been this low.D lowest we ever got was 7million/ml n that was like 3yrs ago.D one b4 this last was 12million/ml,we were very optimistic it would ve improved by now but I know my God is still on the throne n there absolutely nothing in this world to which He can be compared n nothing in this world that He cannot do.
N seriously,am so sick n tired of taking antibiotics that it gives me nausea now.I think I took too much of different kinds this last time to combat d infections,n they ve grown resistance d more.Hmm,it is well.

@kemidebbie it happens to me too but I don't think it should be a major issue since only one to 3 of d sperms are needed to fertilise d egg(s) but u still aren't comfortable with it,place two pillows underneath ur hips while bding n let ur dh stop moving in n out during ejaculation process n once he's poured it in finish,let him come out sharply while u stay on d pillows for a while(20mins) b4 getting up to clean up.I hope this helps.

Everything has an end n the end is nearer than ever b4.I understand how u feel,I have lots of those around me too but I know better as to responding to those thots when they crop up.In my case,I have friends that are over 30 n find it very easy to get pregnant even when they weren't ready to but here I am under 30 n still trying for almost 4yrs.If sara had known she was going to have a convenant child or the other women of faith in d bible,they didn't just have children for d sake of it,u get what I mean? So everyday, just thank God for that which He has in store for u,it's so great I can bet u.

Ve been MIA for sometime cos dh n I were down with malaria n thyphoid,mine started at a time I thot it was ovulation signs but a few days after dh started feeling d same way,we decided to go for a thorough check-up.

@bukieluv u'll have to do a test asap. Ur period does not start until red blood is seen,spotting isn't included,so,u're not expected to have started ur next clomid ntil red flow of blood.

The problems we face only thrive on our fears,worries and anxieties. Starve d problems of those things,those problems cease to exist. Hello everyone!!How has ur day been?Splendid am sure.
I got my hormonal profile tests result today.It says my prolactin is very high(29) n progesteron is quite low(4.2).Am actually tired of taking parlodel,I took it n got pregnant d first time.I took it for like 5months plus after delivery but d white discharge kept coming out even while on it.What else woudl u suggest?Am open to any suggestion.
Am not worried or anxious cos I know it's a settled case that am a mother of mighty nations of God.Thanks everyone and baby dust n knackson everywhere.
@olamide123 u'll have to overcome it o,there's always something to learn in such situations,not for u but for others that might come ur way in that same situation.Just know that all is well.I was on bed rest all thru d time d water kept draining n I had the baby via cs to avoid further stress on d poor boy.After going thru all that n d after birth pain,d baby was no more.D enemy want me to remain in that state of pity n rob me of d greater things God has in store for me but I mustn't allow it.So also I encourage u to get d testimony of christ from the experience,tell it n d devil is overcame.It is well dear.
@slimphemy, take enof rest n eat well to add flesh for like a month n take prenatal vitamins,then,u can now start d rigors of tests begining from d easiest ones like hormonal profile n mcs/sfa,pelvic scan n swab test,urine analysis.See a good gynea to recommend d test.above all,be calm at heart n don't b hasty or anxious,all will be well.

I remembered the 48hrs after delivery,our first son who was delivered prematurely,after almost 2months of survival in d womb without d amnoitic fluid,facing a lot of pressure those times due to d preterm rupture of d membrane.
Lessons learnt:
1) That with God,all things are possible; after d rupture of the membrane @ 22wks,d doctors thot d child was to come,I was induced with oxytocin for over 12hrs,yet,there was no contraction.The cervix that was said to be opened from 4cm to 6cm to 8cm closed back itself by d time d doctor came back to check at night.The baby grew actively n healthy in d womb despite d very little or no fluid at various times in 2months.My doctor kept telling us to pray the d child cries at delivery to prove that d lungs were well developed and it eventually happened at delivery,I heard his cry from d delivery room.All these proved that it could only have been God.

2) That God didn't have to prove anything to show He's our God.No matter d end,He is still our God.This reality brought me to another level of faith in Him.Just as I don't have to heed to my son's demands to prove his friends that am his parent,so also God.Unfortunately,we always want n expect Him to prove Himself which does not alter d fact about His sovereignty because He rules in d affairs of ALL men.Despite our prayers n professions of faith,d child still left n it didn't negate d fact that He's our LORD.That's d position we should assume as believers.

As for me,I didn't loose anything.A seed was sown that would yeild much fruits.Gone are d days when I think like other people that 'what if d boy grew abnormally?'.Another question would have been the other way round that 'what if he grew normally?'.So, no more questions as such should be heard in our midst,rather,let our hearts be filled with thanksgiving for the gift of life d salvation on the cross.We have d victory already,d devil should tell us otherwise.
This incident happened almost 2yrs back n we're trusting God for His best.I just want to encourage everyone that that we're still alive means hope in Christ so,be rest assured that it is well.There's no one that is bnarren,Christ became d curse for our sakes.Doubting this truth means be-littling the sacrifise on d cross.

Baby dust to everyone

Hello everyone here.I have been a silent follower of this thread n am amazed at the level of encouragement I see.I would like to be a friend here too.Almost four years in marriage now and trusting God for His best.Nipple discharge has been there,I did a test to check for prolactin level which came back normal.Blood was taken again for complete hormonal profile,results should be out tommorrow.Also treating infection for now n dh is undergoing treatment for low fluid count n infection,after which a repeat test would be done.Thanks all in anticipation for a warm reception.
