I want to perform a mental exercise. I believe if we rethink systemic long time approach to solving most of our challenges as a country. We will have a better chance at solving them and also making serious money from it. Mention any challenge and I will take a shot at describing a systemic approach to solving it and maybe one that can put money in the pockets of the solution providers. Let's go |

Nawttiboi007:Not Port Harcourt, Obeama at Oyigbo LGA |
The issue is not network speed, it's about coverage. I live and work in a community just 12KM away from Port Harcourt. There is 24/7 power supply in this community, and they don't pay for light. Cost of house rent is really affordable, perfect place to free lance. BUT MTN, GLO and 9Mobile network here is 3G and you can't use it for anything serious. If not for Airtel, even though this place is perfect, I won't be here. For ISP who claim to be mobile, they concentrate their best coverage in only the metropolis and leave out a whole lot of people. When they say internet penetration in Nigeria is mere 38%, it's because of this. They go for they money always. There are Local governments, not just communities in Nigeria where you hardly get network. Though Airtel really tried in rural penetration, but you get mostly 3G network. The last time I travelled from PH to Jos, there were areas without network for over 50KM, I mean, the Big 4 were absent. This is why startlink is a game changer, so you can now make whatsapp calls in HD, skype or VoIP calls from even communities with the absense of the big 4. Do you know there are places in Nigeria, students travel over 100 km to do basic exam registration or just check their result. Starlink is mostly for areas like this, a whole community can be connected, you can open a business centre, setup internet telephone, lauch wireless transmission and connect the community to the internet without waiting for the big 4. |

There was enough time - The aim is to go cashless.

Stop looking for new notes, start embracing cashless policy. There was enough time.

Not just this two, all the ISP have one trick or the other to scam their customers. If you have data and subscribe to mtn night plan, they will be deducting from your main data and the night plan simultaneously. And you can only use about 80% of your data. Someone needs to study and gather evidence then sue. I don't mind donating to that cause. These guys are taking in billions yearly, but still want to cheat their customers. I switched to ntel sometime ago, their network speed was limited to 512KB/s, it wasn't enough for my work. And the throttling was deliberate. |
So on the 25th of July, 2022, I transferred N7000 to afrivoulchers to fund my Luno wallet. Unfortunately, I made a mistake, the amount I was supposed to sent is #7140 to cover the transaction fee of #140. So Afrivoulchers indicated that the fund was not complete so it's been refunded. Upto date, the money is not back in my chipper account or Luno wallet. I've been back and forth with the support of Luno and Chipper. Afrivouchers hasn't replied since I started contacting them. Is there a scam at play here? See screenshots |
Go to the nearest DSS office, you may need some cash to settle them. They will track the so-called priest by triangulating calls around him, they can pinpoint and apprehend him. Or even ascertain if she is actually with him before apprehending him. He's the chief suspect as it stands. Any other way you want to go about it may be wasted resource or effort. Even though it may appear like our security forces are not efficient. Trust me, they have the best tools at their disposal to solve this issue better than anyone else. If you really want to get him. You better do this now. |
We are still accepting investments |
NigAmbassador:The current level is sourcing for funds. We need financial investors, and we are willing to negotiate benefits. We've registered the business and have a business account ready - Zero One Investments Ltd. We have our corporate office at Artillery, Port Harcourt. The developers are in standby for the project. Once we raise 30% of the needed funds, we can start working on the site. |
Really, this sounds desperate |

The world at large is nearing recession, it's biting hard in Nigeria. People want to sell stuffs they don't want to make extra bulks. On the other hand, people are more eager to buy fairly used items or products on distress sale. I want to set up an ecommerce system more like ebay that provides the solution most ecommerce platforms in Nigeria don't. Jumia & Konga * Only allows new or refurbished products * Has high commissions (20%) * Only vendors in select cities can participate. * Regorious qualification process. Jiji and Facebook * Only allows localized sales * Doesn't accept payment * Mandates buyer to visit seller Our Platform * Anyone can sell anything product in minutes * No need for buyer and seller to meet, we collect payment and when buyer confirms receipt of product, we release funds to seller * Low commission - 5% * Facilitate logistics * Encourage local production by creating a made in Nigeria zone * Encourage recycling, repair and transfer of used product instead of importing or buying new ones. * Save Forex * Simulate the economy Where You Come In I need 1.5M to launch this platform, about 1.2M of the money will be going into promotion as I and my team of developers can set it up the site without much financial investment. I need 1000 persons to invest just 1.5k into this project to get it started. Insecurity is the god child of unemployment and lawlessness, these two issues I believe has been highlighted in the previous topics, but I will explain better how they will factor in. We have a young, dynamic demography in Nigeria, as well as in most African countries. The potential in these youths is better channeled into productive use otherwise, vices will keep rising, this is true for any country weather developing or developed. Luckily, most of the solutions in this booklet are centered around job creation. Our farms and what we do in them will create jobs, our smart cities will create jobs, our training and technological programs will create jobs, basically every topic highlighted in the booklet creates jobs. Security is a carrot and stick business, it’s one thing to point youths to legitimate sustainable sources of income, it’s another to dissuade them from the easy, get-rich-quick allures of criminality. We are agents of societal change, so we’ll join hands with government, security apparatus, none for profit organizations and socio-religious institutions to preach against vices, strengthen the institutes of government, reorient and reintegrate those who are willing to turn a new leaf. The place of corrective dissuasion isn’t left out, we preach that actions have consequences and hence those who take part in criminality should be ready to face the consequences. By teaching users of our legal insurance platform how to defend their right. This will go a long way in cementing the fact that actions which hitherto have been overlooked by security agents now have consequences and will keep them on their toes to do their job. For instance, a serial mugger and assaulter who has always been left off the hook because no one has really pressed charges and followed it through to court will soon realize society has changed. Not only is he going to court, but many other victims are either joining the case or volunteering as witness. A thorough prosecution and a conviction will send a message to would be criminals and the security apparatus alike. Source - We Have A Plan - Download Here https://zeroone.ng/wehaveaplan.pdf |

Hmmm skeletons and cupboards |
hornetclair:Thanks for your interest. I've built a crowdfunding platform where people can co-own a business and earn from it while we manage the business for them. Eg. 20 persons contributed, raised #300,000 for POS/Daily savings business. We start and manage the business on their behalf and at the end of the month we share 80% of the profit to all participants and keep 20%. You can checkout the platform at www.zeroone.ng You can watch this video to buttress how it works. Thanks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhqyTh7oLDU |
Good, though you need dedication and an alternative source of income till they mature |
Congrats to him |
Legal - yes Moral - no |
Until our security apparatus start being proactive and form new ways to really dig them out this will continue. In serious countries even if you did the transfer, they can still be traced and prosecuted through the account number and phone. What use is the NIN and BVN linkage if it can't deter this petty crimes. |
That's commendable |
